Property Ratings at River Rock
There’s a lot of problems with these apartments, but the worst is the roaches. I keep my apartment very clean, but I still find several every day. About once a month, pest control comes by and puts down some sticky paper, which of course does nothing to fix the problem.
Don't move here unless you want to live nasty people that throw trash on the ground having drug nasty people smoking next to ur door and if you don't mind living with begbugs cockroaches and mice
The area is sketchy to live in. The staff took a month to get the paperwork dealt with and get us in. The one helping us get in knew we needed a place asap but still took her time. Told us she would turn in paperwork that very day and then not do it until two days later. After they "cleaned" the apartment we got in and the ceiling in the bathroom had a weird yellow substance and hair all over it. We are not sure how they missed cleaning it, how it got like that, or what the yellow stuff was, but it was disgusting to say the least. They also didn't leave us with new jet plates like most apartments. We also didn't have the shelf holders for our fridge left for us like most places. We are still waiting for them to get those in our fridge and it has been 2 months now. The apartments are not well cared for. They have a nasty cockroach infestation in our building and the company they hired to treat it did an awful job. The design for the apartments isn't very pleasant either. Our stove won't open more than 3 inches before running into the dishwasher door. We have to tilt the stove to open the door which is a huge pain. No fanning system aside from one ceiling fan in the dining room and no AC. We live in the bottom floor and during the summer it is muggy and hot and we can't open windows because they have no screens and someone could easily break in that way. Not worth the trouble avoid this place at all costs!
I had a great experience here, the management and especially staff (autumn) were great and flexible and always happy to work with me. No bug or other pest problems ever, and I actually got my down deposit back :)
The new manager and office staff are the best taking care of all the problems and we are very happy here now.
I wish I could give this establishment less than one star. I have never dealt with worse management, a woman named Candy, ironically, in my life. She has no business working with people. The apartments aren't that bad. They do need to be updated, but can be taken care of if you have the time and means. The hall ways are in disrepair and have a terrible odor, smelling of human waste. Know that a lot of the information is false. Most apartments do not have balconies, and they do not have oversize closets either. The manager has been known to write reviews on this property which are false. The staff tries to be helpful, but cannot get anything done with Candy around. They will tell you that if your credit comes back poor, the most you'll owe is $150. We owed $300.00 When we said we were no longer interested, Candy told us that we could not have our deposit back. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
They are willing to work with you if you struggle. If there is any maintenance issues they are handled right away. They make sure the tenants are comfortable and will address any issues.
