Property Ratings at Riverbank Apartments
I moved here in November of 2022 and now it's February of 2023 i can finally do a review of my experience here at riverbank. i did everything online didn't see the apartment face to face before moving in but i did see all the detail online pictures and everything did seem pretty decent. Since the day i moved in my ac been acting up either it's leaking or not cooling at all my shower been acting up too also when I first moved on my first day i took pictures of all the damage they said they would fix them but never did. I got mold inside my apartment and only a few of my outlets are working. The apartment next to me its basically a crack house no one stay there but homeless people and drugs dealers stay in it and be making a lot of noise police did come a few time kick them out but they still go inside the next day. And the other one next to me they only smoke weed in my front patio door and i got roach everywhere. You can here everything your upstairs or next door neighbor is doing can't really sleep due to noise sometimes. Im a pregnant woman expecting to deliver in march my living conditions here is not good how am I supposed to bring a kid next to a crack house the noise and all the smoke smell coming from outside and the ac not working all the time. Most of the washer and dryer not working i have to go to a different laundry facility. I asked to be switched to an new apartment with washer and dryer and better condition they said i have to wait for 6 months which is understandable but the baby gonna be here it will be a little bit too difficult and it's way more money for the other apartment. Bad neighborhood people don't pick up after they dog ugh so much going on here.
This place is a joke. First of all, the amenities listed on the website we don’t even have access to. They are “remodeling” and so the club house is the main office currently, which means the gym we supposedly have does not exist. The pools have been closed since I moved it and often look disgusting. Half the washers in the laundry room don’t work and those that do smell disgusting. Today I tried to go do laundry and the machine used to add money to the laundry card (washers and dryers don’t take quarters, you need the special card) was out of order. It is so frustrating because there wasn’t even a sign on the door to the laundry room and we received no email and text about this issue. I know their texts and emails work too because they alerted us today that the water will once again be shut off for a day next week for plumbing issues. Also I put in a maintenance request over a week ago because water was coming in through our baseboards. They have done nothing so far. This place may seem like it’s a good price compared to other apartments, but don’t fall for if. You don’t get what you’re paying for, not even close. The only remotely good thing is the neighbors seem nice and the ducks are cute. Don’t move here!!!!!!
They never fix anything. I went 6 months with no AC. It took them 5 months to give me a window unit. All the pools have been closed all summer. The kids would like to get in at least one time this year. LOL. PITIFUL
Because it's had everything that I wanted information is looking good like the wifi ,Room bathroom kitchen etc.
If we don’t have security just say so. Drugs being sold & smoked in the stairwell. Apartment parking doubles as Cocktails strip club parking as well as Motel 6 since there’s used condoms in parking lot. Gas getting cyphoned out of cars. If there’s security then they are a joke! Only 1 star since I was forced too…..seriously your a hard -100
I've had nothing but problems with my apartment since I moved in back in November. Floods, Poor Maintenance Performance, Rude And Uneducated office workers. Every time I call to report an issue they act like it's no big deal and it never gets taken care of. Don't bother calling the 24-hour emergency maintenance line because you'll only be directed to someone in North Carolina who has nothing to do with the site in Jacksonville. Don't ask for an email or call back from the office manager Amy who's probably the most unprofessional out of all of them who can't return a simple phone call or accommodate the residents and does not care or is one bit concerned about the safety of the residents or their units. And if you ask for the property owners information or numbers or emails they will not give it to you. Garbage and trash throughout the community never cleaned up. Renters beware, DO NOT MOVE HERE.
So I applied from out of state four months ago. Two days later they said my income didn't qualify even though it was above 3x's the market price. Then they refused to take my phone calls or emails or give me my deposit back. I was repeatedly put on hold and often ignored via email. One lady rudely said, "There is no one you can speak to. No manager, no one so you can continue to hold or hang up." Who speaks to prospective tenants that way? It's only a small deposit but it's the fact that they handled everything so unprofessionally. I wouldn't recommend gambling with these people.
The property has poop everywhere cause people don’t pick up after their dogs and there is trash and cigarette butts everywhere. I hate how nasty the complex is and maintenance needs to do better at keeping it up. Can y’all mulch the property please? It looks like it’s going downhill since I moved in. Also the people in the office don’t always do their job with submitting tickets when something needs fixing in ya apartment. They only care that they get ya money. It’s a shame. Only good thing is it is nicely priced. And don’t believe the hype that the place is “renovated” new floors and paining over stuff isn’t a renovation.
Pool is always closed for "construction" which is a lie. Trash all over the grounds. The river walk is a sloppy mess. There are roaches every where including the laundry room
It’s so dirty. Big holes in the laundromat ceiling, pool is bog but it’s full of dirt. The view from the pool all you see is broken windows and an unfinished paint job. The main office doesn’t even have a Viking the use a tarp
I really love this place they have great prices and newly remodeled apartments. the security is on site and the staff really cares. I highly recommend to go take a look for yourself.
I've never had a management as great as the riverbank Jax management and the complex is always in tip top shape!
I had an appointment to see a 1 bedroom. Office was pac the office girl (i think it was the manager) was by herself and helping everyone. Even when peoples were being rude to her she was still nice. She was nice to talk to. I rented the apartment because of her. I love my apartment. It's not new but it's nice.
The staff here is great maintenance fixes everything and anything quickly
Excellent Management!!! They are understanding and they help with any problems we have as residents.
I have stayed here for two years and in those two years the management has been switched twice due to managing. The current one does not care about the rental people just the money. They tried to have us evicted just so they didn’t have to resolve issues with tenants. Security is a joke out here cars have been stolen multiple times in the community.
Apartments recently renovated and clean, grounds are well kept and have nothing but praise for the new management
The new manager was fixing my broken a/c very quickly after i called. Real better than the manager i dealt with when i moved in and couldn't be bothered to do nothing.
This apartment complex is newly renovated and spacious and it’s like others in the area but the staff on site really makes it a wonderful place to live and more of a community.
Everyone put in so much care and attention to every detail of the move in process! The apartments are renovated, the pools are open and every day there are new improvements at the property. Couldn't be happier!
nice and spacious the pools are nice they are camped up real nice
