It may not have the flashy reputation of San Francisco or Los Angeles, but Sacramento embodies the very best of what makes California so unique. The city is well known for preserving its history, from early settlements like Sutter’s Fort to the gorgeous 19th century architecture of Old Sacramento to the artifacts in the Sacramento History Museum. Pop culture and the fine arts are well-represented, with local stages hosting symphony concerts and rock shows and galleries displaying works by the old masters as well as modern upstarts. The local restaurant scene is famous for its heavy emphasis on “farm to fork” principles, making it one of the best places to find fresh, locally sourced food.
Those living in Sacramento love to take advantage of the mild climate, whether that means biking the River Trail, taking the kids to Fairytale Town, or heading over to Sutter Health Park to catch a River Cats baseball game.

Property Ratings at Riverglen by the River
Management from last year sucked. New management this year sucks even more. Changed locks on the laundry rooms and gave NO NOTICE and NO NEW KEYS. Bike stolen from my backyard that has locks and barbed wire. Loud, single pane windows, people don't pick up after their dogs. Gym is in utter disrepair. Leaving ASAP
A couple of days ago the maintenance gentlemen put in a new dishwasher. He came in and offered to remove the items under the kitchen sink for me and neatly placed them out of the way because I was occupied with another task. While attempting to remove our old dishwasher he realized an appliance and some furniture needed to be moved. The maintenance gentlemen helped my husband move the items. As he installed the new dishwasher, I would periodically peek at him working to ensure the dishwasher was installed properly, a few times he laid on the floor and I even heard him mumbling something to himself a few times (LOL) Yet he didn't give up. he worked until it was completed. I was extremely impressed with his work. Our country has gone through a lot of changes, both positive and yes, negative. I can either focus on the negative or I can look for the positive. Here's the positive I've been living in this small community for over 3 years, it's always well-manicured, well-kept, and cleaned by this sweet little gentleman who cleans with a smile. My neighbors are really kind. Also, It's a pet-friendly community. Yes, it's a gated community with security and cameras. And best of all, it's quiet throughout the day.
This apartment writes fake reviews about themselves to bring up their rating. Management is terrible. Many of the things such as a concierge, shuttle to school, and security is such a lie. Would give it 0 stars if I could
Multiple break ins and cars windows broken. Mail and cars get stolen. Owner doesn’t get any security or cameras. Homeless always trespass
Not safe. Not peaceful. Units are noisy. Neighbors are mean.
Lived here for a short 6 months but I would have stayed much longer! Christine is a wonderful manager who is always perky and maintenance has always given us a positive experience. I can see the small changes to the community to make it better. Thank you to the office folks for giving me a great living experience!
