Property Ratings at Riverpoint
I typically do not like to leave reviews, but I am trying to help someone. I lived here for almost two years. It was not that bad at first but then it just declined quickly. The roaches were coming from EVERYWHERE. The lady in the office claimed there was little to no crime but I cannot tell you the amount of items/money i lost because someone shattered my car window or just blatantly stole things from the laundry room. It was absolutely disgusting. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT MOVE HERE.

the first year of living here was nice. after i renewed my lease that’s when i saw the roaches, they were coming from everywhere, they claimed to treat it but it did not work. it came to a point where I had to move. the office was very nice and understanding enough to let me break my lease. my car and boyfriends car got broken into also. the walls started to peel, the base boards was separating from the wall, my wall had bubbles and cracks in it. mold around the windows. great for a first apartment bc it taught me a lot

Hello, We sincerely regret that your experience was less than perfect. We care deeply about our residents and want to provide the most comfortable experience possible. We hope you give us another chance soon, so we can share a more positive experience.
But now I can’t wait until my lease is up. My downstairs neighbor is a little unhinged (bangs on the walls, screams, moans, etc). My old neighbors even moved out because of him and when I complained I was told he would be moving...he’s still here. I love the hardwood floors. but I’m also often afraid to take out my trash. So...wouldn’t recommend.

Please AVOID this place!!! There are so many roaches, maintenance goes months without spraying and even when they "treat" the place with pest control it doesn't work. A roach literally dropped in my plate while I was eating. The walls are coming apart, the floor is shifting, there were so many problems it was ridiculous. And finally the walls are so thin you can hear EVERYTHING the neighbors are saying and doing. The building is Old and the apartments are terrible. It might be great for a starter for the price, but please find better! The staff could also have better attitudes.

Cockroaches. I’m not trying to live where cockroaches live

We have roaches they won’t do anything about. Maintenance will bang on your door at midnight for no reason and is RUDE as ever. The plumbing in this place sucks and I hope you like your neighbors bc you can hear everything though these paper thin walls. Moving out ASAP.

We take all feedback from our residents seriously. We only enter homes when a work order has been requested and always give notice. We are very sorry to hear you've had a bad experience. We would love the chance to speak with you. Could you please contact our leasing office at your convenience?
For the First nine months or so, riverpoint honestly was an awesome complex. Quick responses, good neighborhood, overall good. Although the last 3 months of my lease had a roach problem, advised them about it but it just took too long for them to exterminate them, which was the only reason I left. If it were not for that I would still be there. If they get that right, I wouldn't hesitate moving back in.

We are disappointed to read your review. Our team takes any resident issues seriously. We have hired a professional pest company to make rounds through the building each week. We are sorry you've had a bad experience. This is not the level of service we aim to provide our residents. We are always making improvements to the property, so thank you for your review!
Please please read!!!!Whatever you do, avoid this place at all cost! It was a great price for a college student and everything stared off great! Until one bye one things just got absolutely worse!! Cracks are all over our walls and maint. cares nothing about it! We’ve took pictures and complained and they do nothing to fix it yet the fix everything else. And not just that..this place is infested with roaches! I saw one and didn’t think that much of it although that’s absolutely disgusting considering they have “pest control” but now it’s just out of hand. I’m uncomfortable walking around my house because of it! There’s literally huge cockroaches running around my house! Eveyday I kill at max 3 cockroaches and once again i’ve complsined and they’ve done nothing but say “we will put you on the list” what?!?! I’m moving out ASAP! If you have other options, please go to them. Because yeah here is cheap, but it’s not worth it. Go elsewhere!!!!

I really like it here. I feel safe. Maintenance always comes the same day or the next day. It's usually quiet. Friendly staff.
