Riverstone Apartments

If you enjoy living in the company of German cockroaches, then this place is the place for you! Maintenance people are very quick to fix your AC (which is what earns this 1 star rating, otherwise I’d give this place gets a negative star rating if I could) but take weeks on resolving other maintenance issues. The management team definitely doesn’t give a care about your needs and refuses to accommodate you in relocating to a different unit. Not mention mailboxes were constantly getting broken into nightly. Oh, and if you do decide to move here after reading my review, I would suggest getting a 2nd floor apartment and be that annoying upstairs neighbor who walks and moves things around at 1 in the morning.

Constant car alarms and shouting matches between 11pm-4am, multiple cars have been broken into om property with management not taking any steps to help residents. Leaf blowers daily, drafty windows and doors, nails sticking up from carpet, terrible office staff (except Irene) and poor maintenance efficiency. Would not recommend, STAY AWAY

Went by the complex last week to view an apartment. Wasn't impressed by the sliding glass door next to the front door...faux balcony with no wall between the two doors. Odd layout. Apartments are small for the price but was willing to settle for a short-term lease at the same price as a 12 month lease. Upon leaving, the leasing agent said she would email my roommate and I leasing paperwork to fill out. A week later...still waiting. Guess they weren't needed new tenants after all.

This is one of the nicest and cleanest buildings in town. Neighborhood is amazing. The management company in charge does a great job. They respond to your request quickly. I love this company wouldn't want to live anywhere else. 6 stars if I could.

With Temps pushing 85 daily it took a week and several unreturned phone calls. Management cares about rent and not the living conditions. Parking is absolutely horrible and not enforced. There is is a pack of strays that love to meow loud always rout night. Walls Walls and roof are extremely thin be prepared to hear every footstep upstairs makes. Rent just went up 40 bucks too, enjoy the outdated appliances. Can't wait to move my family is totally unhappy.

location, staff and apartments are nice but we'd wake up to see people's cars broken into. Then sure enough my car got broken into then my boyfriend's truck got broken into. Don't really feel safe here. There's supposidly a gaurd somewhere but dunno where he was all these times & I've never seen em. Moving when the lease is up.

I've been here nearly 3 years and have again renewed. Everyone in the office is helpful and courteous; the maintenance staff have been here for years and do the job right. The one time I needed maintenance assistance it was done within hours and professionally. Within a mile of USAA--if you work there you'll get a discount--you won't find more spacious townhomes at such a low price. In the last year or so all the roofs have been re-shingled, the main pool completely re-done, and a nice security fence installed completely around ther perimeter.

Good location, quiet complex, and descent size for the price. Though parking near your building can be tough and you have to call office multiple times per maintenance requests.

Great apartment for the price! Close to the Medical Center and so much more. Property is well maintained and the staff is great. Parking is not so great but can't do much about that.

This is a very quiet neighborhood and complex. I have not had any issues with the apartment. The management is nice and is always willing to work with you. The townhomes are very nice but I wish the living room and kitchen were a little bit bigger.

I love the staff in the office. Wonderful people! Especially Sarah & Janette! :) This is my first apartment by myself, I have enjoyed the overall feel about these apartments. There prices are great and every unit comes with washer & dryer, without a renting fee.

Price is reasonable, could use security. Especially at night and to be visible to woodbe crooks. Signs and trash bins for the people that have dog's. Staff is pretty friendly and maintenance gets out to service calls in decent amount of time.

Riverstone would be an excellent choice whether one works at USAA or not--but if you do there's a solid discount. Of all the complexes I've lived at this is the most organized, has the most talented maintenance crew and is run by a friendly, professional office staff. Any maintenance issue has been corrected within hours; and the crew know what they're doing and are very courteous. The ladies in the leasing office are fair, knowledgeable and genuinely care about the residents. Among other grounds improvements are a brand-new main pool and surrounding amenities. I've been here two years; it's a very placid area and I intend to stay put!

This is one of the best communities in this neighborhood. Affordably priced and conveniently located, it is a noise-free and safe community. The office staff is kind and maintenance requests are resolved quickly. We lived here a year ago and had to leave the country for a while. When we returned, we didn't stop elsewhere and checked right back in. They offer refurbished apartments for a good price and the washer-dryer units are a huge advantage. However, I wish the community looked better from the outside, with more greenery and flowering shrubs. Also, it would help if they make sure the plumbing doesn't fail frequently, since there have been frequent water outages in the past few months. On the whole, this is a great community, with reasonably priced apartments.

I just ended my one lease here. I needed to move closer to school, but I had a great experience here. My only complaint was in the summer, my AC couldn't quite keep up. It doesn't help that I was on the top floor. Otherwise all was well here.

I am going on my 2nd year here and I absolutely love it! The price is the best around and the location is very central to the Medical Center. It is a very quiet and safe property (very much so compared to surrounding complexes). There is always parking available, maintenance is at the top of their game and the landscaping is always nice. The office staff is very kind and accomodating and I have just had a great experience here. My only tiff is that the insulation could be better but it's hard to say considering the elephants stopping around at 2a above me. While these are older apartments they are very nice and updated. Do not hesitate to move here!

I have lived in many apartments and have never renewed a lease. I am in my 4th year at Riverstone. Besides the fact that the entire staff is friendly and respectful, Riverstone really feels like home. I actually know my neighbors. I can't imagine living anywhere else.
