I toured one of the one bedroom units. The amenities match the rent and the staff are very nice, but the apartments themselves should not be called "luxury." Damaged cabinets, poorly installed and ugly carpeting, old/cheap appliances, and bad lighting. If you're good enough at interior decorating you'll probably be fine.
Horrible management. Corporate is just as bad. They do not communicate, they do not enforce their own policies. I've seen homeless camping all around the outter edge of the property and even wandering the property digging through dumpsters. Even caught a couple guys scoping out cars to break into. A homicide happened on the property and management did nothing to reassure the residents. The pedestrian gates do not have locking mechanisims allowing literally anyone off the street to walk in. Police helicopters flying over almost nightly shining the spotlight in the windows. Way over priced for the crap you deal with.

One of the Worst Student Apartments in Tucson. Unorganized and unaware of what events occurs in the apartments. Multiple systematic errors with no care. The staff are very unprofessional. Make promises they can't keep
Great place to live! Plenty of great features like the pool and gym. New management has been great! Josh and Val have been very helpful!
Where to even start. When I first moved in I was told "sign a lease get $500"! I asked, "how long till I get this gift card"? Was told in about a month. It took 4 months to get it and that's after threatening with lawyers. I was living all alone in my apartment and Maintenence would randomly walk in without knocking and would scare me. Maintenence NEVER fixes anything you ask. Then I ask one question to three different employees and get three different answers. I called and asked how much a parking pass was and they $30 even then I went to pay in the office and she told me to pay online then I called again to make sure and they said I couldn't do that and it's $30 a month. They say they would give me a 48 hour notice before getting a roommate. They came knocking at 9 PM about me having a roommate and 15 min later there she was, my roommate moved in. From the very beginning I informed them I couldn't have a roommate that smoked cause I have extremely bad asthma. And what does my roommate do? Smoke. What's worse? She smokes pot all while I'm trying to get a job as a 911 operator and she's smoking drugs around me. So that was my last straw, so I go tell the office i am moving out, I will pay my rent until my lease is up but I refuse to pay electric and they bring up my boyfriend cause that's all they have against me cause he writes bad reviews. They're all a bunch of college kids running the place. They don't have one specific answer. They screw you over with money. The management and Maintenence is awful. They bring up whatever they can against you when it's worthless. I've had an attorney the entire time of living here who's been helping me keep track of emails and pictures. North pointe is awful. If you know what's good for you please do NOT live here. It is the worst place. If you have any questions or want any more reasons why not to live here I got about 5 more. Thanks for reading! DONT MOVE HERE! WORST MISTAKE EVER!
After living at NorthPointe for one year, I can confidently say that this place is worse than living in the cheapest on-campus dorm (which I have also done). The biggest issue is safety. The day we moved in we were threatened by a man named Shane, who we then called "Shady Shane". He told one of my roommate's family members with small children that she should "watch her daughter". Not ideal. A few weeks later, I was sitting in the living room around midnight watching a movie while my other roommates were sleeping. What followed was the sound of multiple gunshots right outside of the apartment, possibly in one the surrounding units. My rudely awakened roommate and I proceeded to spend the next hour in the kitchen waiting for the police to show up. (Spoiler alert: they never came.) This happened a few more times over the course of the year, and at this point we're just used to it. There have been many other vaguely life threatening incidents, but I'll just get to the best/worst one. All four of us began to notice that the shower wasn't staying hot as long as it used to. Since our water heater had needed to be repaired early in the year, I decided to go check the utility closet where it's stored. (Here I should note that the two apartments on each floor share a single closet with two water heaters. In our case, the door had a simple lock that only required the push of a hairpin to unlock.) When I opened the door, I was confused to find many empty cups and food wrappers littering the floor. I became alarmed when I saw the plush blanket on the floor. It was clear that someone had been living in there. We called maintenance, and they removed the items and "locked" the door, but a few days later I checked the handle and found the door to be unlocked. This time, our new neighbor had been using the closet as a drug den. Heroin, specifically, according to Tucson Police who finally bothered to show up. Anyway, I know it's cheaper than the rest of the student apartments, but don't live here. If they've already tricked you into signing your lease, make sure you carry some mace.
Don't live here unless all care about is having somewhere to sleep but even your car is better as you dont have to deal with the Rude management
North Pointe Apartments are a great place to live if you're attending the University of Arizona. The facilities are in great shape and the people are wonderful. It is also conveniently placed near the Tucson Mall among other plazas. I love it here
