If you’re looking for peace of mind, you can stop your search as of now. Grand Haven, Michigan is a tranquil suburb on the shores of Lake Michigan that’s perfect for a slower pace of life. Situated just 33 miles northwest of Grand Rapids, this little city provides big city convenience while holding onto its small-town charm.
Sprawling woodlands, rapid rivers, and community parks take up a majority of Grand Haven, alongside affordable residential neighborhoods. Parks are essential to suburban living, and Grand Haven has plenty to boast. Watch boats go by on the river as you stroll down Grand River Boardwalk, or take a trip to Grand Haven State Park for sandy beaches along Lake Michigan.
The city’s most beloved attraction, and soon to be yours, is the Grand Haven Musical Fountain. This massive fountain creates a beautiful show on Grand River as it lights up to assorted music. After you admire this community staple, be sure to visit local joints around town.

Property Ratings at Robbins Nest
My family has been living at Robbins Nest Apartments for about three years now and we love it! The staff here are extremely helpful and personable. Whenever a need arises they are very responsive and work to find a solution to the problem. Even though living here is enjoyable for many reasons (heat covered by the complex, onsite 24/7 gym, one stall garage, and onsite laundry facilities) we absolutely love the cost of living here. In our search for a home, my husband and I looked at many apartments on the Lakeshore. We found that we were offered more perks here for a cheaper cost. Overall, this is a great place to live.
If you are looking for a place that you can truly call home if it be short or long term living I am confident you will find it here at Robbins Nest Apartments as I have. After experiencing loosing everything I owned in my mobile home fire, my employment suggested I look into Robbins Nest Apartments. Almost eleven years since moving into Robbins Nest I am still loving it as much as the first day I moved in. It's a place you can truly call home. I have had the best neighbors and have made a life long friend. My neighbor is also a long term renter and resided at Robbins Nest Apartments for many years. Its a great feeling to have a buddy system with someone you have lived next to for many years and works well for both of us. What makes living here a five star plus rating is being able to sit on my deck for endless hours over looking the community enjoying the perfectly manicured landscape and watching everyone who lives in the community enjoying everything it has to offer. It brings me great joy to hear the laughter while residents enjoy the catch and release fishing in the ponds and other outdoor activities. Last but not least I don't think you could find a better staff than Robbins Nest has running this beautiful complex. And that's why I really can call my place home, it's more than just an apartment. It's my home and could be yours also. Virginia Hagstrom
Robbins Nest is a quiet apartment community nestled on East side of GH. Minutes to downtown and Lake Michigan. The apartment homes are quiet, clean and well maintained. The office and maintenance staff are prompt at addressing any needs you have. This place is affordable, with heat, water, trash and a garage included in your rent! Best value around! This is home!
My wife and I have been living here for about a year now. The ladies that manage the apartments are great and they worked with us while trying to get an apartment and have been great while we have been living here. It is a quiet community and my wife especially loves the ponds with all the ducks and geese. The community is kept up from lawn, the buildings, snow removal etc. Management has been awesome in getting the maintenance staff to promptly address any issue or rather they be any minor or major problem that we have had come up (which hasn't been many). Would recommend Robbins Nest Apartments to anyone.
I've been living in Grand Haven for 4 months now. The location of Robbins Nest Apartments is perfect. Meijer and Walmart are both a mile away. The Original Clover Bar is a mile away. It only take 7 minutes to get downtown and to the state park. The apartments are affordable for the area and well kept. The area is quite and very neighbor friendly. The grass is always cut and the staff in the office is wonderful!!!
Nice apartments friendly staff, missing washer dryer in unit, which is what I was really looking for. But Thank you for friendly and fast customer service.
This apartment complex was one I called home for 6years. The staff is friendly and professional. I felt I could come to them with any concerns and I was heard. Maintenance responds promptly and are great people. The actual apartments are older but are kept up in a wonderful fashion. Each apartment comes with a one car garage (no extra cost) and a parking sticker to allow you to park close to your home. Heat and water are included which is a huge bonus and keeps utility costs low. If we would not have purchased a house we would have continued to live here. If I ever decided to go back to apartment living Robbins Nest would be my first choice.
I have nothing but great things to say about this apartment complex. My husband and I lived here for 4 years and were very impressed. First of all, the apartments were very clean upon move-in and the staff was very friendly. As we continued to live there we noticed that everyone who works there is very friendly and helpful. Any time something went wrong with the apartment, the maintenance people were there within 48 hours (and we never had problems that were emergency situations). When they would come to fix the problem, they were very professional and fast (it wasn't disruptive to have them there). I felt that the apartments exceptionally reasonable for the location and service. My husband and I don't have children yet. I did worry when people would move in next door with young children (I was worried that we would hear their kids super early in the morning) but the apartments were insulated so well that we literally never had noise issues. Then when we moved out (when, I believe a businesses true colors come out) they were also very friendly and helpful. We received our security deposit in full. I cannot tell you how happy I was that this was the apartment complex we chose while we lived in Grand Haven. Had we not moved back to the middle of the state, we definitely would have stayed. Thank you Robbins Nest!
