Property Ratings at Robley Place Apartments
I came to Robley Place at a time in my life where I needed refuge as I underwent an ugly divorce. Matt and his entire staff were spot on for me for the two-plus-years I had the privilege of staying with them. My job, sometimes, requires me to be away from home for months at a time and I could always count on the staff to put my packages, which were many at times, inside my apartment. Not to mention, they were readily available for the one time I had issues with my a/c unit. Marlie came out in the middle of the night to reset the unit as the breaker had tripped. I was expecting to sleep in the heat, but she would have none of it and came out at the moment of the request that night. I am saddened at leaving these kids because they have exceeded my expectations.
Haven't had many complaints which is saying something when it comes to my apartment experience... My doggo likes the walking paths and there is also a dog park (which we don't use) but is a cool idea. Great for a person with pets or just wants to be close to everything in town.
I wouldn’t advise nobody to move here for the price you pay it’s not worth it management rude courtesy officer beats on your door and they tow if u park on the line just a little bit and they are very rude
The apartments are usually dirty, the pool has stuff left behind from residents constantly for days at a time, trash in the bushes and around the dumpster, and when we moved in the apartment was still dirty despite having been "cleaned" before we got there (still animal hair in a 'no pets' apartment, blood in the fridge, trash in the sinks)... and there is a gym but something is always broken or only partially working including the fans for air circulation. I had to call maintenance for three things in the first week: windows not sealing, a broken lock on the master bed door, and my dishwasher door lock malfunctioning. The dryer has also obviously never been cleaned out and has lots of residual lint. Just a ridiculous number of things for how pricy this place is.
Worst place in Lafayette to rent from. Money hungry, and the amount of money you pay has 0 reflection on the living experience you receive. Staff treats you terribly.
the apartments are nice looking but management (mostly the manager, not the leasing agents) is rude and difficult to deal with. maintenance requests slip through the cracks frequently. they refuse to be flexible or work with anyone in any experience. when i moved out they blindsided me with a $50 charge to remove tape and $100 for paint after telling me i couldn’t paint the patches myself, plus other charges. i know no complex is perfect but after living here several years i can say that management is by far the worst part. rent with caution and be prepared for constant reminders about pool rules instead of anything that’s actually important.
The apartment complex itself is pretty nice. The apartments are pretty nice themselves, and as another reviewer said the proximity to stuff in Lafayette is great. Unfortunately where this complex appears to fall short is communication between management and maintenance. Maybe there isn’t or they simply leave residents out of the loop after a request is made, but overall not too pleased. During tours check out the floors of a few different hallways. Take a look at the gym floors. Walk through the bathrooms by the pool. Look if there are bugs in the pool, or green algae growing in it. I understand the complex managers aren’t going to bend over backwards for every request, but clean shared spaces should be one of priorities.
This place is amazing when you focus on the quality of the apartments they are offering, which is making it very easy for the management team. But, when the pool is about to turn green for the second time in a month, when the community restrooms floors haven’t been washed in weeks and I’m not talking about the amount of bugs and sand in the pool. Something has to change. When doing a tour, please do us residents a favor, ask to see the restrooms by the pool, maybe they’ll decide to start clean them!
The property is beautiful! The staff is very accommodating and will bend over backwards to help you. Its very close to town but far enough away to have peace and quiet. Over all this is a great place!!! Highly recommended!

Have neighbors above me stomping across the floor, dropping things on floor and dragging stuff across the floor so loud you can’t rest or even watch TV. They say they can’t do anything till after 10:00pm and then call courtesy officer. They act like they don’t want to get involved. This goes on till 12 or 1 in the morning. When the courtesy officer went over they became even louder and slammed stuff against the wall. I wrote a review and it doesn’t show up on the apt site. I work at the hospital and am on call at night and unable to rest due to noise. Don’t rent from them. Go to someone who cares.
