The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Rochester Apartments
The building has no rent control and they will basically increase your rent whenever and whatever they want.
Rent is already expensive in LA and in the area around the Rochester. You should skip on this property. I lived here for 9 months and it wasn't a good experience. Most of the things were fine. The garage never stopped working, electricity, gas, water, laundry, hygiene, etc. What I could not stand is the noise. It was incredible and I have videos of it. If the people above me walk in their apartment, I hear the flow squeak every single step someone takes. The neighbors were probably the noisiest people ever. I emailed the manager so many times about this and unfortunately it was never fixed. They would have gatherings most of the days, and just by hearing them talk, I could easily hear them from my apartment. I suggest that if you want to live here, schedule a tour and really test the noise of the apartment because it was a real problem. Best of luck
I hated this place so much. From the outside it looks amazing like a hotel but once you live there it is not that. The dishwasher and the ice machine never worked, so many things broke like the flooring and garbage disposal. The pool claims to be "heated" and it's usually super cold so idk how that makes sense and the jacuzzi works like 2/10 times. The laundry only works on one floor and it's over three dollars a load but it leaves soap stains on your clothing so we ended up going to a laundry mat instead. Not to mention the loads are extremely small so you'll need to run your laundry about 3 times to get one load clean BEFORE you use the dryer which also needs to be run through 3 times if you like your clothes dry. Both of my roommates were overcharged rent multiple times and one of them was charged over 3k for one billing cycle. When we went to the property manager Maricela she was so rude and unhelpful. She basically said she couldn't help us and we had to figure out how to get refunded when it was their fault. They claimed that we had auto payments for rent and that's why we were charged and when we asked for proof that we were on auto payment she said she can't see anything because we already moved so virtually there was no documentation of our payments. She directed us to a site to "maybe" try and figure it out but still said she can't do it. Rather than trying to help us she pushed us along to other people. If you can live somewhere else do it. It's not worth the time or effort to deal with the management.
