At the heart of Missouri, Columbia is truly one of America’s greatest college towns. The University of Missouri sits right at the center of the city, and generally serves as the cultural hub for the wider community. Locals, whether connected directly to the university or not, regularly visit campus for sporting events, concerts, gallery exhibitions, lectures, and more. Just north of campus, Downtown Columbia features a thriving mix of coffee shops, restaurants, nightclubs, taverns, and performance venues, largely catering to the huge numbers of students from Mizzou, as well as the smaller Stephens College and Columbia College.
Of course, the community extends well beyond the collegiate environment at the city center. The University of Missouri Health Care system is the second-biggest employer in town, so the community of healthcare professionals in town is quite extensive. The cost of living is quite affordable, and there are numerous apartments and rental homes to fit any budget.

Property Ratings at Rock Bridge Meadows Apartments
Rock Bridge Meadows is a great spot! Management is quick and professional in responding to our questions and really takes good care of the property. The location is awesome, especially for someone who needs to be on campus every day like me. All in all, it's a clean, quiet spot with lots of amenities close by.
Living at Rock Bridge Meadows has been amazing! The complexes are well lit and well maintained. The apartments are right next to a Wal-Mart. Hy-Vee, Gerbes, lots of restaurants, and plenty gas stations. The staff are incredible! All of the communication I have had with them has been prompt and friendly. They really care for their tenants, and it shows. My neighbors were also nice which certainly helps. Overall living at Rock Bridge Meadows has been amazing! I recommend it to anyone who wants a simple and affordable place to live, espeicaily while attending college here.
I have been living here for 3 full years and would not consider moving out if I had not bought a house. This is a very quiet living area with amenities around (3 big grocery stores, banks, gas stations, restaurants, urgent care center, pediatric clinic). The maintenance is prompt. The rent is very reasonable for a 2-bed unit with a balcony. With the new windows and sliding door installed, the utility cost is also low. I have recommended two of my friends to move here. The only pity is that there is no covered parking, but the parking lot is plenty.
I lived here my first year as a graduate student at MU and could not have picked a better community. As a single female I appreciated the brightly lit apartments and outdoor lighting, and I felt very safe. The apartments are very nice and well kept up, and I absolutely loved my neighbors in my building. We got to know one another and it felt like coming home to a family every day. The location of these apartments is great because it is located one mile from Walmart as well as being close to several gas stations and restaurants. The quiet hours required within the apartments are a plus too because as a grad student I needed my sleep. I enjoyed my stay here and I would definitely recommend Rock Bridge Meadows!
I currently live at rock bridge. I love it. Haven't had any complaints. Never had any problems. I guess you do hear the water running in other apartments, but that's it and it's not that bad. I live on the 3rd floor of my building and never hear anyone else except when a shower is running. The water is a bit touchy... usually too hot or too cold, and when you do get it just right, you'll occasionally get a blast of scalding hot or freezing cold water. But I deal with it, cause it's not a big deal. Overall, I love this apartment, and I would be renewing this year if I didn't have to move for my job. Also, I loooove all the closet space and I can fit my king size bed in the bedroom with plenty of room. Oh, also the oven is older than I am.. it looks like the original model from the 70s. So when you cook, it smells like your burning the house down but you're not, it's fine. If you're picky, don't live here. If you're easy to please and want a cheap place, this is the perfect place.
We have had great neighbors and the maintenance on the apartment has been great. The manager makes sure everything is taken care of immediately. Would recommend these apartments to anyone.
