Well, this historical moment found us at Rock Creek Apts. without power for several days. The apartment complex shut the water off somewhere in all that mess to prevent further bursting of pipes. We're back in the apts. now with electricity but still no water. However, this isn't a review to complain. This is a review to to let you all know the apartment complex staff really care about their residents. They have been dealing with rude residents and people who apparently are not living in reality. We appreciate the staff so much. They had cases of water shipped in and were handing those out to residents. They set up port a potties all around the property so people could use the restroom. They suggested we get water from the pool to use for flushing toilets. They have been working night and day to get us all back up and running. I'm appalled at the people who complain. It's all of us going through this. I've got nothing but GREAT things to say about this staff and I have personally thanked them as best as I can. Stay humble people. Stay kind. Thank you again Rock Creek Staff for EVERYTHING you are doing! Great job!

I’ve been a resident since September 2017 and I love it here. The office staff is VERY professional and always nice. Anytime I’ve had a maintenance issue (always small) they sent someone the same day when I’ve called during business hours. Ms. Tammy even follows up to make sure the issue was solved. The parking lot is always clean and well lit and the complex is generally quiet and peaceful. Hands down my BEST apartment living experience!!!
They won't accept your packages anymore so if you expect to order anything online, expect long waits at your nearest postal office.... and for some reason the rent keeps going up. $200 bucks and i can't even order anything online.BUT REALLY THOUGH.... WHAT APARTMENT OFFICE DOESN'T ACCEPT PACKAGES?! IT WOULD BE GREAT IF I DIDN'T HAVE TO DO MY JOB AT MY JOB TOO BUT I STILL HAVE TO DO IT BECAUSE I HAVE TO PAY THE RENT (that goes up for no reason), BUT THEY BASICALLY TOLD ME THEY DIDN'T WANT TO ACCEPT PACKAGES BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T WANT TO DEAL WITH IT....

Due to the increased popularity of online shopping, we no longer have the storage capacity to store the large quantities of packages that we would receive in the office daily as well as the several other unclaimed packages that may have been forgotten. Although we would love to be able to assist you with this issue, residents do have the option to have packages delivered to their doorstep, schedule a special delivery time or pick-up at a storage locker location with the courier service. We truly apologize for this inconvenience and understand your frustration. Please feel free to call our office if you have any questions.
I would give less than one star if possible. I have lived here for two years. As others have complained, the walls are paper thin. There is no parking. The rent prices keep increasing dramatically, despite no improvements being made to the apartments other than very minor things such as painting the exterior. The rent has gone up $200 since I moved in. Without a doubt the worst complex I have ever lived in.
Before we even moved in we had a small list of things that were broken in the apartment. Have been here for 2 months and call every day to remind them and they still havent fixed anything. They told us a new microwave would be installed before we moved in and it wasnt. It took 3 weeks for them to install a new one and we went to open the microwave and you cant open it all the way because its too close to the wall. Called to tell them about that and still hasnt come out to fix it. They say the pool is open during the day yet on my days off I will try to go and all the doors are locked. The apartment itself is nice for the cost but dont need maintenance if you live here because you won't get their help.
Pros: Relatively Safe; Good location; Low Price Cons: Unresponsive Staff; Health Dangers; Questionable Appliance Quality I was not expecting the Ritz but it's clear this is a bare-bones operation designed to maximize profit. They have a low price and the area is pretty safe but that's it. Appliance quality can vary and there's constantly work being done somewhere that can bother other residents. Biggest issue is health concerns that staff did not show any interest in solving. If you have any issues during your tenancy, be sure to CC Westdale Holding Company as well. Only then will you get some movement but with low competence. You get what you pay for.
Moved in in December of 2010. Rent for the apartment was $330 a month. (15 month lease) On renewal, I changed to a larger one bedroom, and stay for another 3 renewals of that 15 month lease. Things started changing. Lights were out on the outsides of building, complained multiple times about this, things were not fixed until after making complaint to the city code department...over a year later. Lease renewals were anything from a $28 a month jump to $100 a month. All the while, very few if any improvements were made in the complex. Both the large jumps were over a 10% jump in the lease, again for no reason. While getting told that you are still getting a huge discount over new rentals, which you can easily tell is a lie, as they post the rental amounts on the website. Also, now they don't do 15 month leases... they say it is a 14 month lease, but it is actually only about 13 1/3rd because "the computer sets the dates". There is always a parking issue, covered spaces are reserved, but the uncovered are first come first serve. And there are no where near enough spaces for all the residents. Big reason for moving out... RATS... great big gray rats. My dogs killed 4 or 5 of them in the last month we were there. They seemed to be isolated to the building I was in, but it didn't seem anything was really done about them... no traps were set outside. I should not have to count on my dogs to kill rodents in side the apartment. Also, I don't see it as a bad thing, but you have raccoons, opossums, bobcats, coyotes in the area. Getting things resolved took a lot of work. The manager flat out lied about some things. Getting in and out of the complex during rush hour is a fight. Belt Line traffic sucks and there is no protected entrance/exit. The pool.. it is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day... no more. Covered parking is great, but during some of the severe weather incidents, they had those coverings fall down, sometimes onto cars. I wasn't affected by this, but some people were. So, that is my review. It was the small stuff that added up over time.
I love the Rock Creek apartments they are situated on the corner of belt line and Preston road. Talk about location location location you have the convenience of being close to the night life and shopping centers. Rock Creek has two pools and laundry facilities the staff is attentive and friendly so i really enjoy living here.
I love that the admin fee is so amazingly low. the area around the apt. is exceptional plus the schooling is great.
could be better. people and management suck as litter.
