Property Ratings at Rock Creek
Since I moved in, I've heard nothing but horror stories from neighbors. From being charged outrageous fees for missing keys, to being evicted when rent was already paid. They charge for any damages sustained while living there, which is normal, whats not normal is charging multiple people for the same damage and never actually fixing it. Personally the state of my apartment when I moved in was terrible, scratches & stains everywhere. corners were dirty, I found bugs in behind the drawers and on the pull out cutting board. I have lived here 2 years, and I just was charged $100 for refusing maintenance services, when nothing in my apartment needs servicing and I never received a notice asking for permission to enter or anything. I called to say as much and the lady was basically just calling me a liar, saying " I did my due diligence and put the notice to enter on myself" (in the crack of the door) which wind can dislodge and blow away. So they are trying to charge me $100 for not being able to enter my apartment. I could honestly go on and on with all that I've heard and experienced. Just stay away.
The apartment manager is very rude and she reassigned my parking spot 3 different times. This caused huge problems. Maintenance is the rudest worst quality unhelpful bunch of jokrrs you have ever seen. Do not move here...you would be crazy
Always have visitors parking in your assigned spot. Management just leaves these stupid stickers saying "hey dont park here". They hiked up our rent 350.00/Month and then when we asked about month to month...its 500.00 extra PLUS the 350.00 increase. Dont rent here, find another apartements
Theyve had 3 managers in 4-6 mo. Their newest manager doesnt know how to do her job. She is very rude and kurt with most everyone I've talked to. (Yes I asked because I know not everyone gets along with everyone, BUT she should be able to do her job.) She delivered the 3rd notice to enter in a month and delivered the wrong apt # to us. When I stopped her because each notice had the apt number and leasing member names on it I thought maybe it was a mistake. She shoved mine at me and said everyone is getting one, it doesnt matter. I told her it does because I didnt know the entire property got one and if you tried to enter after serving me this which is a totally diff apt # with peoples names on it that arent mine or my husband's legally I wouldn't have to let you in. She cost my husband a days worth of work because he works in insurance and each time they had to enter he wasnt allowed to work. He works with members private info and verifies identities for claims. Once we got the notice that rent was increasing over 200.00 in less than 60 days we decided we'd had enough. Our neighbor has been robbed, our other neighbor is a violent drunk who has scared our children w his drunken rants, screaming, cursing, pounding on everyone's door and the people above us are up all night. Do not give these people your hard earned money. It's gone down hill here.
I live in Rock Creek apartments and I haven't regretted my decision once since moving into this complex almost a year ago! The grounds are beautiful and very well kept, the prices are affordable and you definitely get what you pay for! I was so excited to find out that my apartment had full size washer & dryer, AC, microwave and dishwasher! All the appliances I wanted! The size of the apartments is great too, definitely better than I could have ever imagined! My bedroom is so big, I don't know how to fill it up! The manager is amazing and very personable. Her staff is great too! Maintenance is always quick and speedy and definitely know what they are doing; always with a smile on their face! I really didn't just find another apartment, I found my home! This place is great and if looking for a forever place to hang your hat, check out Rock Creek!
