Property Ratings at Rockwell Village
Vocal detractor! Great location, outrageous price. Expect to pay $300 minimum in addition to your full security deposit when you move out - they're savages with finding things to charge you for. Just incase the $24,000 dollars you paid for a years rent wasn't enough. They also force you into a $130 dollar cable and internet fee. Do yourself a favor, buy a house.
Property Manager at Rockwell Village, Responded To This Review
Hi, we regret to hear that you had a negative experience with us, but would appreciate the chance to turn your experience around. Our manager would really like to speak with you more regarding this matter. Please reach out to us at (385) 722-9161. We look forward to hearing from you.
If I can do less than one start I WILL!!! this is outrageous because, thank Very unprofessional & they do not stick to contract dates which has caused me to lose $16,000 worth of my personal belongings & house furniture. I was originally given keys & a contract by Brittney - my contract END Date was supposed to be the 4-July. I turned in a formal 30 Day Notice to the office on 20-May & was told that I was responsible to have all of my belongings out of the home by 17-July. After long weeks of house searching & Going Back/forth, I returned to my home on 14-July to remove the remainder of my belongings/furniture from the garage to find that my entire home had been cleaned from head to toe, with NONE of my stuff in sight. When I went to the office to see what happened, nobody was there so I emailed them & it took 3 days just to get a response. I never, EVER, received an email stating that they were going to enter my home & remove my belongings. When they finally reached out to me, I met with them, they admitted their wrong-doing (after a lot of run around) & now we are having to come up with a settlement number. Although they are doing this settlement, I do not feel as though this situation was handled well & the complex needs to honor their contract dates & timelines much better. It shouldn’t have taken them that long to respond, they should have never touched my belongings in the first place & even with a settlement, that doesn’t take away the fact that some of my belongings were personal & sentimental. Furthermore, since the original incident was reported, I was told that they would take care of things as smoothly & quickly as possible. It has been 3 weeks & not one person has communicated with me until I decided to reach out on my own. Now they are wanting me to reach out to attorneys to get things resolved & the attorneys aren’t responding but that’s ‘out of their hands’ .... This whole situation has been a complete disaster. This company only cares about money & getting people in their homes as quickly as possible.. they don’t care about the families they are housing & how a stupid, selfish act like this can be such a detrimental stressor to tenants. I can’t afford to repurchase $16k worth of furniture/personal items right away. I am currently in the process of moving in to an EMPTY new home with my young daughter who now has to wait before she can sleep on a bed again. This place is selfish, unprofessional & money hungry!! DO NOT LIVE HERE!
Management is the worst I’ve ever dealt with. It’s been 6 months and I still get a renewed contract. Explains why no one stays. I’ve reported tenants smoking continually wi5 nothing done. So much for a no smoking environment.
Downsizing from a single family home into a townhome, I admit, was hard for me. There were so many things I worried about. It's been a long time since I've been in a multi-family unit. I balked at the idea of living at Rockwell Village at first, but as the months have gone on, I realized just how much I like it here. Jamie and Nick are very helpful and prompt in any questions or requests. The area is very quiet and peaceful. I can even see the stars at night out my window! And the view. Wow! I love watching the paragliders at the Point. I enjoy the spacious master bedroom and the closet. I am thrilled that I haven't heard any noise from my neighbors at any time--and I hope they can say the same for us! I am greatly appreciative at how pet friendly the Village is, there are a lot of pets here. The neighbors are always waving or saying hello. Being so close to the interstate exit has been awesome. Large windows mean there is a lot of light and the pantry is ginormous! I have an unfinished basement and the storage availability is a huge plus. Then there's the kitchen. It's actually larger than the one I had in my single family home. It is beautiful. Dark cabinets with a white quartz counter top with lots of space are just stunning. New appliances, complete with a ceramic stove top. Then there's the faucet. It's a work of art and so much fun to use! I don't even know how to describe it. I didn't expect to have such an amazing kitchen in a rental unit! I would definitely recommend Rockwell Village to anyone who asks.
We moved in to our townhome about 4 months and with it being new construction there were a few minor things that needed to be taken care of. Jamie and Nick made sure these things were taken care of in a timely manner and were always friendly no matter how many times we bothered them for updates. We have lived in apartments before and I was concerned about the noise level, I can't hear my neighbors and they can't hear us, which is wonderful since we have 2 children. I love having a basement for storage, definitely saves money on a storage unit. Being in Bluffdale you are a few minutes from Draper and the surrounding communities or you can head south about 10 min and shop in Lehi, they have a great outlet mall. We have been very happy here and would definitely recommend them to anyone.
We have enjoyed living in this community. The townhomes have modern finishes and a functional layout. It is so quiet here I cannot hear my neighbors and they cant hear our family of four energetic young children. We have an unfinished basement along with an attached two car garage and it has been perfect for extra storage. The best thing is they are so accommodating on short lease contracts as well. The application process is easy and Jamie is one of the most professional and attentive managers I have met in this industry (we have been renters for three years at other properties where this has never been the case). Jamie really does care about meeting and exceeding every expectation. There is an amazing charter school down the street that is still accepting enrollment and just under the freeway five minutes away the City of Draper provides you with all the necessities (grocery store, bakery, banking, gas station etc.). I have recommended this place to so many and I am confident you will not be disappointed either.
Rockwell Village is an amazing property. We live in the 3 bedroom town home and it is more than enough space! The open layout of the main floor is by far my favorite thing about our place. The Dwelo app also puts my nerves at ease. We travel often and I can make sure the door is locked and the temperature is at a decent setting just from the app on my phone. The staff is also so lovely to deal with. Jamie and the maintenance guy are always on top of everything. Also, this is by far the most friendly neighborhood we've ever lived in. The park across the street is so convenient and fun for all the kids to meet up at and play. It's also very safe, quiet and peaceful out here. We are considering buying soon and we definitely want to stay right here in this same area. I would recommend Rockwell Village to everyone I know looking to rent.
I was one of the first occupants of this property, everything is brand new and the finishes are amazing. I have been very happy with all of the appliances and the Smart Home Technology is awesome! Jamie was helpful from the application process to the move-in and is always happy and friendly. I would recommend this property to anyone!
