Property Ratings at Rockwood at the Cascades
In August of 2024 they employed a new management company and it has been awful. Beyond the slumlord tactic of slapping on some new paint and charging $600 more in rent, the management here is immoral at best. They will tack on hidden fees like you have never seen. In addition they lie like they enjoy it. When something breaks, specifically your washer, it can talk MONTHS to fix. I moved into a unit with no working washer, and they lied as to why it was not working for over 60 days. I asked the maintenance person who fixed it what was wrong, and it was something totally different than what the property manager told me. This place will such the money out of ur wallet, please do not move here. Also they charge you for parking spots that are not anywhere near your unit. The spots do not correlate to your unit so sometimes you can be walking almost a quarter mile with groceries to ur unit. God forbid you park in the red just to run up your groceries, they will tow you w no remorse.
This place is amazing, we moved in recently and we love how quiet it is inside our apartment, I barely hear my neighbors and when I do, I can't quite tell where it's coming from. The process of signing the lease was made a breeze with the help of Catalina. When we moved in, there was some minor repairs that needed to be done, I made a list of over 20+ things to take care of. Mario and his assistant Karina scheduled an appointment window with me to come and fix everything, and they were done in 30 minutes. I was so impressed by the level of attention and excellent work they did. So far this is the best place we've rented at.
If you are an animal lover and have fur children then this apartment is for you. There is no weight restriction (call for possible breed restrictions)! This was a huge plus as I have an 80lb golden retriever. There is a limit of 2 animals per apartment- in addition I have a cat (who transition to being an indoor cat since we live on the second floor) and I haven't had a problem with either so far. There is a large grass dog area/run in the back of the complex equipped with clean up bags and trash cans. The whole pet friendly aspect to this complex was a big plus and they have not changed the policy since undergoing new management either which was great! In addition, if you like to take your dog for a walk, the neighborhood is exercise/walk friendly with a decent size hill and about a 25-30 minute loop- which I walk almost everyday.
