The nearly 2,400 people who call Medfield home have deemed it one of the best neighborhoods in Baltimore. This conveniently located community sits near northern Baltimore on the east side of I-83, making it perfect for commuters. Medfield's residents enjoy the best of two worlds: the tranquil life within the neighborhood's borders and the trendier developments in the adjacent neighborhood of Hampden. There’s craft coffee and beer within walking distance or a quick drive.
Medfield's transportation options allow residents to get around the area by car and public transportation like bus and train. Some of the more popular stores and restaurants in north Baltimore are located in the vicinity of Medfield and in Hampden. Medfield makes a great community in which to raise a family, with the Medfield Heights Elementary School students scoring above average for the city and state on standardized tests.

Property Ratings at Roland Ridge
The first few months were promising. Then I began to notice things. First, the rec center across the street uses the dumpster in which I pay for as part of my lease. Not to mention their participants park in the lot taking up parking spaces. Or your neighbors visitors park in the lot so you have to park on the street. The noise levels are ridiculous, you can hear everything your neighbors do, and I do mean everything! If you have a late model car be sure to get a club cause chances are some punk will ride off in it and management will provide the police with subpar grainy footage. Finally, beware of the mice, they seem to remain a constant presence in your apartment and good luck getting active maintenance to assist. Overall, it’s served its 12 month lease but it’s for me.

I moved in from out of state during the pandemic, so I never got to see the apartment before moving in, or meet anyone in person. I relied on email. My leasing agent responded super quickly, answered all my questions, even drew up a new lease no problem when I pushed my move in date back a week. When I moved in, I was so happy with how clean and new the apartment was. The kitchen is brand new, and the carpets smell so good!

I moved in July 13 and from start to finish the entire process was smooth as well as pleasant. The leasing staff was professional and helpful. I love that the community is somewhat tucked away. I love my apartment and I'm glad I chose Roland Ridge.

Thank you for sharing your experience with Roland Ridge Apartment Homes. We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and are so happy to hear you are enjoying our staff, the location, and our community!
I returned to Roland Ridge after moving 6 years ago for my job. It remains a serene and close knit community. I enjoy the location that lets me live in the city but enjoy the fact that the community is 'tucked away' behind the Medfield home owners. I don't drive so being close to public transportation as well as within walking distance to The Rotunda and The Avenue is a plus.
Do not be fooled, the area is good but the apartments and its current management are at its worst. They will charge you even for the oxygen their rats and mice (and they are notoriously many) breath,
I live here for a long time and I love the city life with a rural feel I can see deer, rabbit, foxes, all kinds of birds. Everything is within walking distant and close by, a very good and friendly neigborhood. Alot of plant life and the diversity is such a breath of fresh air the High Pointe Condo offer so much a pool, laundry on the premises and gym and community room.Live like your in the country but it really the city. Come see for yourself.
I have just recently moved into Roland Ridge and I must say that I wish that i would have moved in a long time ago. I have find that the space in smaller than where I came from but I enjoy the coziness of my new living space. I want to thank the staff Ms Amos, Miquel, Keshia and Michael . They reallyworked with me and I appreciated EVERYTHING that they did to make my move in wonderful.
The apartment grounds are always well maintained and the staff in the front office are always friendly and helpful. There is open parking so that can be a good if you get home before 7PM. Also it is directly off of 83 and less than 15 minutes from the inner harbor. They do a good job of communicating resident appreciation days, office closings and they provide newsletters once a month. The only thing that I would say negative is that the walls are very thin; you can hear your neighbors and they can hear you. But overall I have enjoyed my time at Roland Ridge.
This is the simple life here. I have been here for about 8 months now. Well maintained and very responsive on the one service request I placed for a minor issue. The office is open 7 days a week. Yes, on Sunday! I love the package receiving service. They will even deliver the package inside your apartment if you contact them and give them permission. As a community the management promotes many things and has neighborhood events. Since I have been here there has been a bingo game, movie night, discount trip to New York, yard sale, food bank drive, school supply drive, and now a cookout is scheduled. Each building has the mail boxes inside it - so no mailbox island in the outdoors. And each building has laundry facilities in it. So no long hike and best of all I do not have to go outdoors. Easy access to I-83, Light Rail and Metro buses.
Great apartments! It is sometimes hard to find inexpensive apartments in Baltimore that are safe, quiet, and clean. Roland Ridge covers all of these things. The grounds are very clean and well kept. The management is so extremely helpful and will fix any problem with about a day. I am a student on a budget attending graduate school and this apartment is amazing. Easy access to the highway and great areas in Baltimore!
