Property Ratings at Ronan Apartment Homes
Where do I begin? Phone is never answered. Maintenance requests are ignored. Swimming pool and security gates have been out of order for over a year. They charge extra fees monthly on top of your rent. The fees include trash pick up-@ times it doesn't get picked up so imagine rodents and roaches. Exterminator fees- there are still roaches. I still spend money out of my own pocket for roach sprays and gels, on top of the monthly fee. Locker fees - whether you use them or not. The dumpsters are filled to capacity always. I have to keep the A/C @ 60 just for it to be 76 degrees in apt. I'sweat just sitting on the couch. Have to add 2 rotating fans just to be comfortable. My electric bill is much higher than it has been in the past. Alot of the residents do not pick up after their pets in the dog park or on the property. The trash in the dog park does not get thrown on a regular basis so it smells horribly often. The fence around the dog park is falling apart and Maintenence/office staff just ignore it, s well. The pot holes in the parking lot are huge.
No matter how many times they change management they just can’t get it right. They never answer the phone, literally never. I’ve literally sat at the window calling & watched them ignoring it. The apartments grounds are dirty. The amenities are never open or working. The apartments themselves are old and small. They have a natural odor. They’re overpriced to be so ran down. Maintenance doesn’t know how to “maintain” they always say we have to order pieces then you’ll never hear from the again. One positive is the apartments seem pretty safe. I do have neighbors who fight everyday but that could be anywhere.

WE are sorry that you are not happy with the management and customer service. We have had phone issues since taking over the property that was just fixed last week, so this should not be an issue any longer. The last thing we would do is ignore a phone call or resident/prospects trying to get a hold of us, as that is our business. Due to COVID, a shortage of appliances, parts, and labor has been experienced nationwide, not just at Hunter's Cove. We wish we had more control over this, although oftentimes need to wait on another source to provide us with the things we need to complete these requests. We have a completely new team as well and would love the opportunity to sit down and meet with you, and hopefully work through your issues you;ve experienced, and see what we can do differently to make you love living at Hunter's Cove. Please reach out to our manager Jocie at hunterscovemanager@westernwealthcommunities.com so we can discuss further.
We have flooded over 5 times our floors are coming up they have said for over a year they were going to replace them. Emergency maintenance does not exist currently our air has been out since last Saturday and it took until Monday to get in touch with someone .. had to hunt them down and still no air .

We have a new team and are working hard to ensure expectations are being laid out so all of our residents are taken care of. Please email us at hunterscovemanager@westernwealthcommunities.com and hunterscoveassistantmanager@westernwealthcommunitties.com so we can address all of your concerns and show you the customer service you deserve. Thank you for giving us another shot. Hunter's Cove Office Team - Jennifer and Jocie
If you put a work order in, you will have to remind the office of your order several times. Mold is simply painted over. Make sure you ask for new light bulbs or else they might be going out on you like they did me, and you’ll never get someone to come change them. The dumpster is always a mess, there’s always trash everywhere which is the cause for the bad smell, fly’s, and big roaches lingering around. The old management used to be on top of this, but new management came in and it’s a mess. I personally lay an anti roach powder on every entree way and down my drains. When I don’t, I wake up to water bugs in my sink. There’s dog poop laying around everywhere because picking up after your dog is not enforced at all. It’s also not enforced to have your dog on a leash. Dryer doesn’t heat up as it should I have to place only 4 items in at a time & continuously restart it. If you place more, or all items, it will cause your clothes to stink due to it not drying quick. You’ll notice a lot of tenants taking their clothes to a laundromt. Every new management promises to fix it, but since they don’t personally have to deal with it, they don’t make it a priority. The office claims it will be move in ready the day you’re moving in, and perhaps in their eyes it is, but it is not deeply cleaned. (ceiling fan dusted, ceiling corners dusted, behind toilet cleaned, bath tub white without yellow or brown discoloration, vents dusted, air filter changed out, non broken blinds, mirror frame on, carpet edges properly intact, pantry/cabinets/not screeching). If not then just know they will never send anyone since it’s not an emergency to them. Lastly, the gate is always opened, there’s always small crowds hanging around at night being loud. So basically there is no type of rules or enforcements of any kind. I’ve heard domestic disputes and the police is always coming out to the complex. Hopefully this helps anyone make their decision about this complex or helps with what to at least look for. I was going through a divorce and this complex was cheap so I signed my 6month lease here, but I can’t wait to leave. Wish everyone well! & Good luck in your apartment search!

This property has for sure given me the experience to remember. I like that I had my washer and drier in my apartment. I never lived at a place with a 24hr gym before and a dog park where they can be without their leash. I honestly really appreciated my time here and only moved bc of work. This place is great and I would give it a solid 4.5 stars.

Hi User, thank you for posting your positive review. Our team here at Hunter's Cove is committed to providing high-quality customer service, and we’re thrilled to hear that we made a good impression on you. We hope you’ll visit us again soon.
If I had another option I would 100% go with someone else. I have dialed the number TWENTY FIVE TIMES and no one has answered. They told me I was approved and would be able to move in Thursday only to tell me they moved management companies and can’t find my application anywhere.

Sorry for your frustration - a lot of times they are showing an apartment and not in the office. You can leave a voicemail or email at hunterscovemanager@westernwealthcommunities.com. And yes we just took over that property. It is helpful and appreciated if people can be patient during the transition and understand that we do not have everything from the prior management company. Please fill out another application and we will make sure you have a good experience with us going forward. Have a nice day!
I have lived here for over a year and am moving out at the time of posting for a variety of reasons. The new management team has been nothing but terrible in my time of living at these apartments. Whatever the agreed upon lease you will pay on a monthly basis, you will be paying much more, closed to 50-60 dollars more. This is all due to "trash fees and pest control" which honestly does nothing to remove pests like cockroaches. You can find other reviews if you look around to see that this is true. They had left holes in my bedroom ceiling and wall due to fire alarm updates/rewiring and it took them over a MONTH to finally fix it. The only reason it finally got fixed was because I had followed procedure to reserve my right to terminate my lease immediately without any penalties due to neglecting my residence for so long. This repair was made at the very last minute to avoid going to court and exploiting loopholes. Their excuse was understaffed maintenance employees on the property and backed up requests from other residents, so I was forced to stay in an apartment that I did not feel comfortable in. Domestic Violence incidents are at least on a once a month basis, there were several times when I had to call the police to step in and stop men from fighting and actually beating on their spouses outside. If you are on the ground level apartment, be prepared for very thing walls, you will be able to hear everything going on outside as if there are no walls at all between you and whoever may be outside near your home. The new management will always try to force you to pay for new utilities or "benefits" even when you are living on the property prior to these changes and have signed no consent to pay for these changes. Chief among them the electronic gate that closes after business office hours. This benefit has a keypad that the office is clearly able to give residents a code to unlock the gate at night to get home at no charge, but instead they are forcing residents both new and old to pay 50 dollars for a remote for their cars to come and go after dark. This is patently ridiculous, any other apartment can give you a code at no extra charge so you can come and go from your home as you please, but again this recent new management seems to be more concerned with making money off of residents than actually having them feel safe.
This place is awesome! The people are so nice and the manager is very sweet and wants to help the residents
Recently moved in and Tiffany is a absolute pleasure to work with along with other office staff as well. She made my move stress free and is very helpful with any concerns that I have.
the improvements the new management has made so far are totally awesome. The office staff is very sweet and helpful, and the maintenance team is quick in responding to any requests”
I tour the complex with my roommate. Great customer services, office looks cozy and I love there model. Looking forward to their availability in May.
Just viewed today it was going for 715 for a 540 square foot apartment that was supposed to be upgraded with damage counter tops very small kitchen I think that need to replace it was just too much for the space. Maybe it is priced for the location since it's directly next to 360. I definitely will have to pass on this one yuck
My apartments are ok but they could definitely use some improvements! The good things about them is there is a great variety of people that live here , there's not a dominant race! I love how pet friendly it is as well!
Affordable apartments for people with lower income. Never had problems paying my bills while living here. Leasing office changes staff to often to get familiar with staff. No frills basic apartment living for poor folks.
Living at Hunters cove is nice! All the neighbors greet one another and the environment is peaceful! The leasing office staff are super nice and helpful and so is the maintenance staff. The gated community is also a nice factor and they even have a dog park and are super pet friendly. If you like a place where it's quite and peaceful hunters cove is the place for you!
