Property Ratings at Roselle Station Apartments
Poor management ( 3 property managers in one year)! Rude, inconsiderate, and incompetent. They only care about the money and not the tenants. You pay extra for NO parking. Parking is dangerous. Units look nice but very poor quality and everything breaks! Outside grounds are not taken care of and snow/ice are not cleared! Maintenance takes forever. There is sooo much more! Please do yourself a favor and avoid the aggravation and headaches of this property/location!!
Very high rent increase. Poor management. Constant threats of extra fines. Last minute responses on renewals (not the required length per lease). I even received a 5 day eviction notice because the management didn’t know how to work their own payment system. I never paid a rent late in my life! Apartment quality is lacking, everything was done poorly. And possible inspection while you are renting. It’s disturbing to have to deal with things like this when you have given zero cause. I could list more but will stop here.
Looks good but everything is cheap. There’s no extra parking. Rent increase over 10 percent. Just stay away and save yourself the headache
This place is headache after headache. The complex is two years old and is falling apart; both from a literal standpoint and management standpoint. Many residents are plagued with constant maintenance issues (floors bubbling, cabinets and counter tops improperly installed, water and mold in the ceilings, faulty circuits and outlets), and they have incompetent contractors who do shoddy work and are incapable of fixing anything. There is no parking for residents or visitors, they use 4 handicapped parking spots as "guest spots," very ADA compliant of them, and the police have been called multiple times over disputes regarding these parking spots. They raised rent by over 10% in the last year, and they have had four "property managers" and two property management companies in the last two years. If not being able to keep a property management company at a brand new property in this market doesn't speak volumes about the type of place this is, I don't know what does. Unfortunately, due to the current state of the market, most of us who live here felt like we had no other option but to stay (and amidst transitioning from one management company to the next, existing property manager ghosted us personally when we were less than 60 days out from renewal and we didn't receive a renewal notice until 10 days before our lease was up.) But after this year, and after receiving yet another "this is your new property manager" email, we are done, and patiently waiting to get out of here. I know it may look nice from the outside, and they may tell you that the counter tops are real and the patio doors are imported from Europe, but this is an IKEA grade build with IKEA grade customer service. Avoid at all costs.
