Property Ratings at Rosemore Gardens
If you have other options, go with those. This place is old and they've done very little to make it look nicer throughout the years. There is an abundance of pests including mice, cockroaches, and other bugs. They allow smoking indoors and management will do nothing to help with the smell. Communication is very little from management and largely unhelpful. They tried to make me pay to have the carpets replaced upon moving out, which I have no legal obligation to do. The only good things about this complex are the location and parking, though one car was broken into at night when I lived here. Other than that the area is very walkable and right near the train station. But I would not suggest this apartment complex to anyone.
Live here for almost 7 years between 2015 and 2021. It was nice the first few years but it became increasingly apparent that they only cared about money and making the outside of the property look nice. The convenience of tenants do not matter to them and they will try to squeeze every dollar out of you right down to moving out. Thankfully we called their bluff on forcing us to pay for new carpets because according to our lease and state laws we didn't owe them anything. That said, maintenance was great, but management, not so much. Also if you like bugs and mice you'll be at home here because they're pretty abundant.

We're sorry to learn of any dissatisfaction. As this review is anonymous, we can't review your work orders to see what measures were made on the pest and carpeting issues. I'm open to discuss this with you. Feel free to call me at 215-887-8400. Thank you. ~ Karen Mette, Regional Manager
I’ve literally been here for three years and my experience has been great! Elisa ( property manager) is such an amazing person! Super helpful, always goes out her way to help, and she responds almost immediately with any issue you have. She is super genuine and easy to talk no matter the circumstances. Maintenance staff is great! Maintenance usually works on the issue same day you call. The property always is kept up, and is very clean. Neighborhood great for kids, and anyone looking for a safe, clean place to live. I will absolutely miss the staff here! Amazing crew ??

The maintenance guys are helpful and responsive. The apartment is located in a safe neighborhood, close to grocery stores and a train station, and is very well-maintained.

Kimberly has been absolutely wonderful with our application process for my two sons who wish to rent a two bedroom unit. So far so good with our experience with Rosemore and especially Kimberly.

When deciding to relocate for work, I wanted to ensure that I found a nice place for my boys and I. Rosemore Gardens have been that and more. Other families live in the complex. However, I don't hear any noise. The grounds are kept up, and the maintenance team is very prompt. The management team is very responsive when I have questions. We have been here for almost a year, and I look forward to being here while my children are In primary school. T. Camps

We are thrilled to hear you are enjoying you home at Rosemore Gardens. Thank you for sharing and have a great weekend. - Rosemore Gardens Management Team
Absolutely terrible company. The apartments are acceptable, but management is the worst I have ever encountered. Extreme lack of communication from their office, and residents are held financially responsible for this lack of communication. They take their sweet time responding to issues, and yet expect you to act immediately.
A great apartment. The location is accessible to the train station (walk or drive), and for several buses. Pleasant neighbors. Good Parking. Maintenance Staff is wonderful! A comfortable place to live. You can walk to Keswick Village for theatre, shops, ice cream sodas, diners, and taverns.
About the area: I moved here two and a half years ago from the city of Philadelphia, and I am glad I did. I love the convenience of having the regional rail station two blocks away, which gets me to work faster than driving. I enjoy the peace and quiet at night - no traffic noise and NO SIRENS!!! The town of Glenside is very "walkable," with a little market, eateries, the Keswick Theater, dry cleaners and churches all within walking distance. There are also hair salons and nail salons for when you need to get glamorous. About the apartment: I'm on the third floor of a brick building, so it is often hot in my apartment, but I can usually get relief by opening the windows during the warmer months. There are wall air conditioners in the living room and bedrooms, but they don't have thermostatic controls, so they're either on or off. The staff is friendly and the maintenance folks usually take care of requests in a timely manner, as long as they're submitted online through the resident portal. Even though there is only one washer and dryer in the building, there's usually not a problem getting to use them, but the dryer in my building is a bit wacky. (The medium setting is hotter than the hot!) The kitchen is much smaller than I'm used to, which doesn't help if you have a lot of gadgets. I bought a rack to put against the wall outside the kitchen to handle the overflow. My main problem is that the refrigerator is too small, so I have to go food shopping more often, which I hate. I didn't think the closets would handle my rather large wardrobe, but everything fit, so I was impressed. Overall, I have to say my experience has been a positive one, and I'll probably be here for a while longer.
The apartments at Rosemore Gardens are very very nice. They are close to the train station, you can walk or drive, and buses are available also. The location is great. Good restaurants (Keswick Tavern, Village Diner) etc. The Maintenance Staff is very qualified. Close to many activities. Check it out!
The apartments themselves are pretty standard, but they are overall clean and well kept. Last year they put in new windows, and this year added a picnic area. The maintenance guys are great about responding quickly to any issues. The best part about these apartments is the location. It's about a five minute walk to the train station and Keswick Village. It's also close to Arcadia University for students and employees. I wish it was a little less expensive, but that's the only downside.
First of all, Glenside is a wonderful place to live. Safe to walk, lots of friendly neighbors, train station very close to make for easy transport to center city and airport. Rosemore Gardens is a decent place to live in the community. Its VERY quiet here. I know there are small kids in our building but never hear them. We have lots of windows that look out onto the road or other houses. It's really quite lovely and doesn't feel like an apartment. The kitchen and bathrooms are tiny but the main bedroom is really large with plenty of windows, making it very bright. Maintenance is very busy but respond quickly if you have anything important or urgent that requires their attention. The building is old and the basement smells musty so I'm not too keen to keep much in storage there. All in all, very happy with our decision to live here.
The Rosemore Gardens Apartments have been my home for the last decade or so. They have done so much to keep the grounds beautiful and have even recently added a picnic/BBQ area! It's close enough to the Glenside train station to make travel to and from the city or airport easy without all of the noise and vibrations of being too close. It's also convenient for college students attending Arcadia University. Located in Abington township, which has been at the top of high performing schools since the 90's, it's great for families. It's a good place to live with maintenance crews keeping up with snow removal and plowing, as well as any repairs that are needed. It's worth it to give it a look!
Rosemore Gardens is a very beautiful & well kept apartment complex. The apartment itself & everything in it looks or is practically brand new. It's also very roomy & comfortable & it just feels like home. The outside grounds are also very well kept & clean. I couldn't have chosen a better complex or area to raise my children in.
I was very hesitant to rent my first apartment after I graduated college. So far I have had a wonderful experience. Everyone I encounter greets me with a smile and the maintenance staff is amazing and extremely accommodating. The location is awesome- I get the best of both worlds. The grounds are quiet but when I want to go out on the weekend I can walk to the train station and be in center city in 30 minutes. My rent is reasonably priced and I couldn't be happier with my very first apartment !
The neighborhood is very nice. Convient to the mall and Philadelphia. The apartments themselves are ok. Very basic. Small in square footage. I gave three stars mainly because of the space, the layout, and the fact they aren't dog friendly. Other then that the place is nice. The management office is very helpful.
I've lived here for 5 yrs. and love this place. The staff is friendly an helps out as much as they can. Maintenance is excellent. They're alway available when you need them. The location is perfect. the neighborhood is quiet and the people are friendly. I really like living here.
