The maint staff has always been responsive for any issue I had if I put in a ticket. But what really stood out was when I had a broken water line to the toilet. I knew they were slammed with some stuff going on the complex that day and they still had somebody out within an hour, replaced the entire line and I was good to go within 15 minutes. They even taught me how to shut off water to my entire unit in case of emergency. Could not ask for better service.

The maintenance team has really been amazing here. They are helpful and timely. If i need anything or any time i submit a request they come out so quick. I can even go up to them and ask them to help me with anything. They really have been so nice. I’ve been here for 3 years now and it’s never been an issue. The leasing office too, Byron specifically has been so good to me!

Maintenance is super responsive and quick! Freddy helped me out and took care of multiple things at once really quickly. He was very friendly and communicative. Also, the leasing office is great. I worked with Bryn and Byron. They responded right away and when there were a few issues I noticed after my first day there, Bryn had it fixed ASAP! The community is nice and quiet. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend it!

Overall, the community is not perfect, but, maybe it’s just my luck, but I found people mostly mind their business and are courteous if you engage. Management has always responded to my requests, and maintenance goes above and beyond. My dishwasher was recently broken and Freddie (maintenance) was very professional and prompt, in getting the issue resolved.

We've dealt with a lot of trauma the past year living here from the roaches when we first moved in, broken washer for over a month without receiving any sort of response until we reached out to follow up, spider bites causing me to go to the ER, seeing people fight/jump a person and stab them in the parking lot the first night of living here, Domestic violence from the neighbors around us almost every other night, Crime impacting the safety of our vehicles. 2 FBI police raids to our neighbors at 4-5am within the second and third month of living here. Crack heads going through the garbage every night, coming to our doors and knocking at all hours of the day trying to get in, Neighbors constantly blasting music and being disruptive, witnessing a resident escape getting kidnapped by a car full of guys, 3 incidents where vehicles in the property have been vandalized by crackheads. The staff is careless, and money hungry. 4 units in our building have already vacated due to the insane rent increases. SJPD says the crime in this area is common. You won't get help from the staff or the cops. just a "oh yea you should already know this area" If you plan to never leave your apartment, love bugs, loud neighbors, domestic violence cases every night, and your car broken into - this is your spot. On top of insane rent increases - this is your spot.

My son and I had the pleasure of meeting with Sr. Community Manager, Sabrina for a tour. After viewing the model, the community and working w/Sabrina we were sold! We had so many questions before signing a lease and Sabrina answered each question timely and professionally. Prior to our move-in date the leasing office staff reached out to confirm the date, next steps and even coordinated a designated time for us to pick up our keys...it was seamless! Despite other reviews, our unit was clean and even smelled really good upon entering. I've submitted 2 maintenance requests and they were attended to within the promised time. Pros: - comfort - friendly neighbors - well kept community - affordable - community perks Cons: - should've moved here sooner

Moved in to a unit that had more broken than working and that was a while ago. Took them a long time to fix things. I paid the price for it - had to pay extra utilities because of their broken appliances. Now there are new people moving in a few buildings over and they are experiencing the same thing. It’s so sad to see them have to deal with this bull. This place is hell and they will make you pay for it. Don’t come here.

AVOID this place! PAY ATTENTION to all good reviews, they've just move in. The staff is very nice when you're visiting the apartments as a future tenant. Wait until you want to actually move in and worst than that, when you want to move out!! They will shamelessly rip you off!! when I moved in the flooring was super dirty. I don't know what was it but my shoes was sticking to it and it was making your feet and socks black. The bath tubs was not cleaned and all the soap and water marks from previous tenant was visible. there was food remaining in the oven. and all the closets and kitchen cabinets was dusty with some garbage still in them. I found shewed gum under the edge of fire place, used fake eye brows and all sort of tags and broken plastics in the closets and cabinets. Hairs at the baseboards the master bathroom. the apartment was obviously not cleaned. in front of front door was disgusting with garbage oozes from previous tenant. the bathroom fans were noisy. I called them 3 times to clean it before the movers arrive, every time they very nicely apologized and said they'll send someone, which they never did. there were so many weed smokers in our building that we had to have all sort of fans and filters in place for our 2 year old, and they couldn't/didn't do anything about it. we asked for additional parking, they said we have to sign the same lease again, which wasn't the same lease and they increase the lease break penalty on the new lease without telling us. The "renovated" apartment, doesn't even have proper windows. windows are super leaky (which you have to pay for the heat and AC) and being next to capitol express and smoker neighbors, they don't filter that much of noise and smoke either. Mainly because of the weed situation we decided to leave early, so we broke the lease, we paid the penalty and, and scheduled a date for pre move out inspection, which nobody showed up. called them later and finally someone showed up when the apartment was all empty, and had 2 comments and she said everything looks good. Although the house was in much better shape compare to when we moved in, we cleaned those 2 places as well, and returned the keys. They had to contact me for final inspection which they didn't, and now they've sent me a bill for ~$500 for cleaning and painting. They are shamelessly ripping me off!! It's so funny that the pictures they sent me as the proof is much cleaner compare to the pictures that I took before moving in.

Is awful place to live . Management is worse . They are very rude and they don’t do anything there . Area is not safe at all . For 3 bedroom they just give you 1 parking and second one they charged you 80 box per months. If you park your car outside ( if find the place) at morning you’ll see your car window is broken ?? same as all car park outside. Too much homeless around there. Smoking said is illegal but is completely ok to smoke cigarettes or ....., we lived at this awful community for almost 3 years and after 3 years they charged us more than our deposit for nothing . Don’t waist you money there. Management are AWFUL WORSE RUDE AND UNRESPONSIVE

This should be zero stars. I have been trying not to write a bad review, have waited for 45 days but have no choice left. I typically don't write reviews but this needs to be called out. On June 1, I was supposed to get my new apartment, I came in person to the leasing office on May 31 5 PM to check all is in time as I had movers booked for June 1 and that was my last date of lease in the old apartment. I was confirmed by Rosewalk leasing office that all be done I will get the keys on time. On June 1 9:40 AM,Rosewalk refused to give the apartment keys as the paint in the apartment was not completed and said they will let me know at 2 PM. At 2 it was still not complete. My stuff was in a truck and I had vacated the earlier place. Rosewalk had no answers to my requests. I was alomost homeless for a night with a 2 year old and had to overstay in the previous apartment. On all of this the guy in the leasing office said we are incorrectly quoting movers rate we are giving and even called a movers to prove to us. Imagine the customer empathy. On getting the keys to start from June 2, I litrealy had to beg my movers to show up the next day and they showed up at 7:30 PM (God bless them). The apartment I got was in a pathetic condition, can't list all in a review but even the toilet seats were dirty. So you can imagine. For all the problems and mental harrasmets Rosewalk commits to : - Waiving rent for June 1, the day I couldn't even stay in the apartment. - Giving movers for June 1, I had to pay for June 2 (wahtever the movers asked for such a short notice) - A compensation of 250$ after a follow up with the manager more than 5-7 times. Which is not acceptable. A request to talk to the manager is getting ignored saying no time is available for an appointment. The maintainance requests are not being dealt in 72 hours. I think i am being intenally targetted by not completing the requests with what is written in their website for 72 hours. All in all i will say stay away from here. Management lack customer empathy and don't live to promises. I am very disappointed. For most things the office managers will say you have a 30 day guarantee. Request to the management: Don't believe you are indespensible, the market is good today, may not be tomorrow. Bad customer experience wil come back and haunt you. Regards, A disappointmend resident
I lived here for almost two years and discovered that my dishwasher had not ever been properly cleaning my dishwasher because it was infested with dead roaches and their eggs. Management refused to take care of the problem because I was already locked into my lease and they knew there was nothing I could do about it. What's worse is they hit me with a cleaning fee after I moved out (where I did pay moving out fees) and didn't notify me so it turned up on my credit report. Horrible and disappointing behavior from a property that was as nice looking as it was on the outside.

I have been leaving at my current apartment for the last 3 years. I love how spacious my apartment is and the amount of cabinet space never runs out. It was really hard trying to find a place in the bay area, since I originally was not from the area. But the staff at Rosewalk have been really helpful and flexible with me and my needs. For the price, the amount of space and having laundry in-unit is worth it. Not to mention that proximity to local stores and services. My only downside are the tenants who do not clean up after their animals, greeny & flowers around apartment buildings use to look really nice.
The apartment itself is fine. The problem is the front office. They always act like they are too busy to deal with your issue. Cars are always broken into because the gates are always broken and the maintenance around the complex is lacking. I would give it more stars if the price you pay matched the service you receive.
