An hour northwest of Minneapolis on Interstate 94, Saint Cloud is a charming small city on the banks of the Mississippi River. Saint Cloud State University is central to the community, both literally and figuratively: in addition to the 15,000 students enrolled, the university is one of the city’s biggest employers, and a dedicated fan base supports the school’s hockey program (the legendary Herb Brooks coached the Huskies back in the 1980s and his name now graces the Saint Cloud State hockey arena).
Just north of campus, Downtown is a charming riverside district with a strip of restaurants, bars, galleries, and performance venues along St. Germain Street. The city is home to over ninety public parks, ensuring that you’re never more than a few blocks from trails, lakes, and relaxing green spaces. For weekend excursions into the great outdoors, Saint Cloud is only a short drive away from Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge and Mille Lacs Lake.

Property Ratings at Rosewood In The Park
They never answer their calls or email. Who ever is in charge of apartment need to get replacement... literally even if u call millions time no answer, how r u suppose know about the apartment or detail of the units..
My search for a new apartment home began in July 2017, when I got accepted into a clinical master’s program in St. Cloud, MN. I'll preface this by saying that I am not from the Midwest and have always lived in the inner city, so St. Cloud was definitely a different experience for me. Nevertheless, upon entering, I saw that the way of contact for this property was via email as opposed to phone. I found this to be strange at the onset, but from that very first point of contact to the date that I recently moved out, I have never gone more than 2hrs. without receiving a response to my emails. Honestly, I've left voicemails at other apartment complexes and didn't get a return call for 2 to 3 days; so trust me when I say that the two women that run this community are very responsive. In my personal opinion, other apartment home communities in the immediate area pale in comparison to what Rosewood in the Park have to offer. The apartments and amenities are contemporary, the public areas are clean and well maintained, and I felt that the price that I paid aligned well with the offerings that I received. Just in case anything has changed by the time you're reading this, I'll say that at the time of my original lease signing, the following were included in my monthly rent charge: heat (I moved from Georgia so this was beyond a necessity), internet (the internet is specific to your apartment unit and is managed by Spectrum), and water. The only true utility that I had to pay for separately was electric. (I opted not to have cable, in an effort to stay focused on school, but that would've been a separate charge as well). Garages are offered, which are honestly a God-send in the winter, the gym is well appointed, there's an onsite laundry facility for large bulky items that may not fair well in the in-unit Washer/Dryer, there's a club house and seasonal use of the grill is available as well. This community generally maintains a full-occupancy rate, and there's a good reason for that. As such, if you happen to luckily happen upon the community when they have a vacancy and you're in need of an apartment, I recommend this apartment community. If I didn't have to move to complete an internship, and had need to live in St. Cloud, I would still be living here.
Absolutely loved living at Rosewood in the Park. I lived there for almost 2 years and was extremely sad to leave. We never had any noise issues and the building was always very clean. Every season, they would switch up the decorations in the lobby which was a great touch in making it feel more like home. We also had a great experience with management and we always felt very safe. If we did not have to relocate back to the twin cities area, we would have stayed at Rosewood for several more years! I strongly recommend living at Rosewood in the Park and will miss living there dearly.
I was living there for a year and I have to say this management staff is one of the best that I have ever seen. Very professional and smart ladies. The building is always clean and very safe. Highly recommend.
I do not live here, but it is impossible to even get a showing of an apartment. Even if there is a waiting list, you should still be courteous and offer a tour to people that are interested. I've never in my life experienced such rude management. I do not want to live here just from this experience.
Overall decent place to live. Enjoyed living here, but not very happy with where my $400 deposit went. When my roommate and I moved out of our apartment we were told by staff that we would get pretty much all of our deposit back, minus the $85 carpet cleaning. However, when we got our check in the mail a month later we found out that we were also charged $135 for a paint job. We were charged for 3 small gauges from command strips, nail holes from hanging a heavy mirror, holes from hanging curtains, and for not washing the wall in a cabinet under the sink. Thats pretty ridiculous, if you ask me. So if you want to “live” in your apartment, I would suggest another place that won’t take your money for hanging up decorations when you move out.
Property Manager at Rosewood In The Park, Responded To This Review
We are sorry to hear of your disappointment upon vacating the Rosewood In the Park community. It is not our intentions to leave you with a negative impression like this. It is unfortunate that your satisfaction with us during your occupancy did not have a positive effect on you upon leaving the community. In explanation of the charges assessed, small nail holes, not in excess, are typically not charged for as they are considered normal wear and tear. The large holes, gouges and dents you are referring to cause permanent damage to the sheet rock and make it difficult for the next household to have the same enjoyment of decorating. Our records indicate you did receive deposit funds back in overage of the damages incurred. Could you please clarify to us why you feel the move out charges assessed to you took your full deposit? We appreciate your input and would gladly share the pictures of these damages upon your request. Please feel free to reach out to us directly if you have any further concerns. Thank you.
These apartments are very nice and contemporary:) I like how the walls aren't just plain white. Whenever I had people over they were always impressed! The staff always said hi to me and knew me by my first name:) Highly recommend!!!!
I've tried contacting the community for over a month to set up a showing and no one can ever come to the phone or return voicemail messages it seems. Why would anyone want to rent an apartment where you can't get in touch with the staff?
