Property Ratings at Rowanoake Apartments
Been in the apartment a week now, and am pleased. Quiet neighbors and quiet complex. A nice place for the money. Property manager is enjoyable to work with. Not the newest place, but in good condition. Does not have the ammenities of other complexes in the area, but it is a lot cheaper (I don't need an exercise room-- I can jog outside!).
Very quiet neighborhood, friendly staff, very cooperative and understanding of circumstances. Parking lots and walkways are always clear and maintained.
Property Manager at Rowanoake Apartments, Responded To This Review
I used to live here and though the resident manager was very nice (Lisa), it was just "ok" for the money. There are no amenities like a pool or playground for children. There is a laundry room that you can get access too with a key and then pay-per-use machines. And everyone has a storage place in the unit with a pull-down ladder which isn't the sturdiest in most. (BEWARE) When we were there we had a leaky roof and mold and had alerted the maintenence man Dave and it was not fixed which was part of the reason why we moved. He tended to answer calls when he felt like it. We had a lady move in with very untrained dogs who constantly barked and though we told the apartment manager it was not really taken care of fully because she is a dog lover. In the woman's own defense though, she did yell "Shut Up" everytime the dogs barked which was just wonderful to hear trying to somewhat "relax" on your patio. No privacy with the patios because the walls are not very high and you can see under and over them with ease. Overall, not worth the money except for accessibility to Rt 14, 480 and the turnpike. For amenities though? Nah, just a place to rest your head.
