Property Ratings at Royal Towers
Salem Management does the bare minimum to upkeep this property. We had literal water damage and they never even sent anyone to assess the damage!! Had a long, documented trail of the water damage thinking they'd eventually send someone to repair the walls and test for mold, nope! Apparently exterior walls can't grow mold ?? this is their belief. Washers/dryers consistently break down. They actually got brand new ones the week we were moving out and they even broke down (mostly because there's quite a few people who don't understand how to properly use them) but the complex also NEVER cleans them! So that means the carpets in the halls are never cleaned, laundry rooms and machines are never cleaned ?? oh and they don't have any policy on wearing a mask in public spaces. Parking lot constantly floods and idiots constantly speed through it to avoid the light so it can be dangerous. Plus if you park by the fence that borders Harmon's lot and closer to stop n shop your car can get flooded! Most residents are inconsiderate: they don't break down their cardboard boxes before putting in dumpster so SM will threaten to fine people ?? Elevators break down every other week, too. The only nice thing I could say is at least there's cameras in the lobby so if a package were to go missing they'll figure out who took it (which only happened once and was apparenty an accident on the other person's part) This is an overpriced pit stop. Don't be fooled by the location! Plenty of cleaner, better rentals in the area.
Apartment is horrible the pictures is nothing what the apartment looks like. There was a hole in the kitchen wall, old window screen in the living room. The person who showed the apartment was horrible she wasn’t doing her job. Don’t look at this apartment it’s lies.
Worst service I never saw, no customer service If you call leasing office they are telling you are not supposed to call, If you have any issues only rise the request or sent email, but they never replied to our email or request, if the reply also negative answers
excellent location like others mentioned.. so many places nearby.. 711, stop n shop, carvel, ups store, Harmons, pizza place, crows nest, game stop, liquor store, all within a block. bus to nyc is right there, too and is about a 20 min ride. elevators are never broken, not sure whay happened years ago but I've been here since October 2017 and never have a problem. parking lot is great, assigned parking and if someone's in your spot they have another one for you and will tow the dummy that failed to read the sign plus there's tons of parking in stop n shop lot (Harmons will tow) for visitors. There's a balcony for each unit which is nice to have. laundry facilities on every floor and is reasonable price. you can have cats but no dogs. LOTS OF CLOSETS!!!! We have a 1 bedroom which has 2 closets in the bedroom, linen closet, 2 huge closets in living room and a pantry closet. only con is the kitchen.. It's a galley kitchen so it's a little tight but you get used to it lol. there's plenty of cabinets, too but no microwave so you'll have to buy one. There's a nice light and fan for the dining area. huge windows so you get a lot of natural light but we got a big lamp to put in the corner. There's 2 of us with 2 cats and plenty of space. it's very a quiet building and everyone is very nice. secure building and you can link the front door buzzer to your cellphone. ups, Amazon, fedex, etc leave packages by elevators which is monitored by cameras and you get an outside, covered mailbox for your mail. superb apartment building.
The bus stop is on the corner. There are two grocery stores, a pizza place, a Dress Barn, GNC, UPS Store all across the street. There is a Dunkin Donuts and a nail salon a block away and the hospital is about a mile away. You basically never have to drive your car. The apartment is pretty roomy. Superintendents are great. Very nice location.
My apartment is across the street from a major supermarket. I am able to use mass transit to get to where I need to go. My apt is cosy and roomy for one person. The upkeep of the building is 5 stars, any problems i have are taken care quickly. I have a small balcony I sit out on during the summertime to enjoy the cool breezes. Has a laundry room also there is a larger laundry next door. I am also able to walk to work.
The 900 square foot one bedroom apartment located on the 4th floor of a an 8 floor apartment complex has its pros and cons. Parking spots are a bit tight, but atleast I have a spot. Unfortunately I come home more often than none where someone is parked in my spot. The complex could use more signs about resident parking only! The complex has a security key entrance with gives you a sense of security knowing not just anyone can enter the complex. The elevators need some work, they are broken more often than not. Being in shape I don't mind taking the steps! On each floor there is 2 washers and 2 dryers for the floor tenants to use which is very convenient. You can walk out of the apartment, throw the laundry in and go right back and kick back watch tv. The apartment has 3 locks on the door which is excellent as well, great sense of security. When you walk into the apartment there's a nice little section for shoes hats coats etc! Kitchen is the next room, super tiny but for me and my girlfriend its do able. Nice appliances (refrigerator and dishwasher) and plenty of cabinet space. They made up the small kitchen by giving plenty of space for food storage, dishes, seasonings, etc etc. There is a nice little dining room area which we rarely use but it's nice to know its there if we ever have people over. Great spot for food, snacks, drinks, etc. living room is absolutely huge, easily fits a 3 seater couch, 2 seater couch, lazy boy, small table, 2 stand lamps, TV stand and a 50" TV. Plenty of wall space for art and photos! Bathroom is a bathroom, sink mirror toilet and shower. It's not huge but it's all we need to live comfortably and clean up. Living room has 2 closets! One we use for winter jackets and the other we use for bath towels and other necessities! Bedroom is perfect size! Nice big closet that fits both of our clothes, our bed, long dresser, TV stand, TV, and 2 night stands. Both the bedroom and living room have ac units which is key! They also offer a utility package for $125 where all utilities are covered. Apartment has full heat as well with bottom wall heat vents. Plenty of huge windows in the apartment for natural light. Unfortanetely we are on the Main Street side so we do hear a lot of traffic and noise if the windows are open, does get annoying. Door and windows closed with ac on tends to overrule any outside noise. Apartment has a nice size balcony where u can out 2 chairs and a table, a mini grill, plants, etc. We approve
