Rushwood Apartments

Recently moved to Rushwood! I've lived at several different complexes. While transparency and manners elude many people I've come across in this business, thanks to the Leasing Associate, QUINTON, my experience was very different with Rushwood. He was very polite, detailed, and understanding in my touring and leasing process. A lot of places will treat you like a number or show they didn't feel like coming to work that day. Quinton made sure this wasn't the case at Rushwood. Any questions I had, he answered without an attitude, and he was prompt with communication from my application to my move. Maintenance staff has also been flexible, pleasant, and professional since getting settled into Rushwood. Looking forward to continued positive experiences!

Very clean and updated complex in quiet neighborhood. Still in a process of finding the best unit for me and I would like to thank Quinton (leasing manager) for all his help and quick response!

Tenia mis dudas respecto al personal de este complejo de viviendas por una situacion especifica, estacionamiento de impedidos, pero tengo que decir, que tan pronto ponemos un "maintenance request" se reportan rapidamente a arreglar el problema. El equipo de mantenimiento es muy competente, responsable, atento y respetuoso.

Leasing office staff is amazing and very understanding. Neighbors are nice. Quinton is the man and the legend! Answered all questions I've had about anything. Maintenance is on top of their stuff.

This is the worst place to rent from especially the Duplex the neighbors are horrible they think they can say anything to you and don’t think you’re going to say anything back to them during the election 2020 was the worst I didn’t feel safe living here wanted out of my lease they said they had to call corporate never heard anything back from them now I am moving on June 1st they want to keep my security deposit saying that my lease ends on June 30 which is crazy as hell they goes up on your rent every year and don’t give you anything for it no new carpet or paint Corporate is the worst I have been a good tenant paid my rent on time even during the pandemic where the didn’t let you use the rent hold they just want to give you a credit for late fee really Don’t Rent From Here if you Do Please READ YOUR LEASE the Advertisement is a LIE you would want to keep a good tenant not loose them

We’ve been having problems with our noisy neighbors since we moved in. They’re five people living upstairs in a two bedroom apartment. The boyfriend threw rocks at our window at 2:00 am and the property Manager didn’t do anything about it. The walls are thin and the rent is too high for these apartments.

I’ve been living at Rushwood since 2017. April, will mark the termination of my lease and I have an concern with my rent continually increasing. I do have one of the newer styled apartments, however in speaking with several neighbors, I know they were able to negotiate better rent, which to me is unfair. Also, I have been asking about update amenities since I’ve moved here. To date, the gym has not had any work done. It’s barely functional. Having a gym was one of the things that drew me to this residence and to not have access to a good working one seems unfair. I have had great experiences with the leasing agents, staff and everyone, however my main concern is getting what I am paying for. Also, it should be noted that perhaps hardwood floors would be easier to manage in a residence like this rather than carpeting.

The apartments are over priced and the walls are thin. You can hear everything that the neighbors are doing and they’re loud. They make noise until 5:00 am in the morning and no one does anything about it. The office never answers the phone or helps you when you have questions. I’m a new resident and I didn’t receive a welcome package, pool pass, key to the laundry room, or instructions how to pay rent online. This is ridiculous.

I am living in Rushwood Apartments for almost a year now and I enjoy the experience very much. First the leasing and move in process, everyone is very friendly and answer any question that I have. The leasing team made sure to make the transition as smooth as possible for me. Second, very safe neighborhood and quiet. Yes there is noises from neighbor sometimes but it's like that everywhere. I mean, you are living in an apartment complex. If you want absolutely no noise from neighbor then you should just get a single house that is very far from your neighbor. Third, the maintenance team is great. Any of my maintenance request they all get them resolved effectively and in a timely manner. The only thing I would improve is to have recycling in addition to the regular dumpster like right now.

Quinton was very helpful and honest during the whole process. He showed us everything without pushing anything onto us.

Don’t believe what’s provided in the description above. I’m surprised no one else pointed out the deceptive lies. Well, here are a few: - the only thing with controlled access are the pool and gym areas - there dang sure is NO doorman!! For what? It’s duplex style apartments - covered parking? HAAA!! Where?!?! - no recycling - and the list goes on and on There are no perks to living here. Trash and water aren’t even included. And, the walls are paper thin. You can literally hear your neighbors snore at night. Take your search elsewhere.

I would nort recommend this complex at all..... They allow a mentally challenged tenant who is very disruptive to stay on the property. This person has broken windows, constantly playing loud music at all hours, banging on the walls constantly and his staff are even worse smoking marijuana and loud and disruptive also. The management know all of this is going on and will not evict this tenant! It's a shame that you pay all this money and are stuck to live under these conditions!!! NO PEACE AND QUIET AT RUSHWOOD!!!!??

Andrea is the best! Not only did she go out out of her way to help my parents find an apartment, she made special accommodations for my handicapped mother. Thank you so much for helping my folks!

So I've been here 1 month today and I must say this place feels like home already! The staff made the transition so easy...special shout out to Kim, Vicky,Andrea and Quinton for addressing all issues in a timely manner! You cant put a price on peace and tranquility! My neighbors are all nice and friendly too! The pool is gorgeous and peaceful as well...I highly recommend this place!

Rushwood is an amazing place to live in NE Philadelphia. Wonderful apartments, staff and maintenence team all at a great price. With convenient public transit nearby. Best kept secret in the NE.

I will never rent from this complex again. The only thing this complex has going for it is its beauty but it won't be enough to keep me here. 1. Before signing the lease, I was told that the rent doesn't go up annually so long as you stay. They stated the prices will be adjusted once the tenant moves out.--Well, that turned out to be a LIE. I received my lease renewal and it showed the normal $30 increase most apartment complexes have. I didn't care that the increase occurred, I care that I was deliberately lied to about something so small. If they lie to you about something that small, they'll lie to you about anything. 2. You have to fork out an additional $100 for the use of the gym and the pool. They aren't part of the lease package. This is ridiculous. 3. Speaking of the pool, if someone's name isn't on the lease, they have to pay $10 to get into their tiny pool. The kiddie pool is acceptable in size but the adult pool for the size of this complex is just a joke. 4. "24 hour response maintenance" is a play on words. My water heater broke on a Saturday. They came to turn it off, told me they would be back in the morning. When they didn't return, I called the office. I called them 3 different time throughout Sunday and Monday to find out when they'll be there. They wouldn't even give me the courtesy of telling me what time they'd be there. Needless to say, by the time they showed up I was fuming. I had a kid to shower and get ready, and I have to get myself ready for work. 5. This staff has been known to lie. They lied to me when it came to the rent and they've lied to me on two other separate occasions. I'm absolutely fed up with it. 6. There are NO incentives to living at this complex. They don't pay any of the utilities, not even trash. You're paying $1000 per month. Heat in the winter is $100 . Electric is the winter is $25 , in the summer $100 . Water is $45 includes trash fee. Cable HAS to be the dreadful COMCAST. No other choice. When everything is totaled it comes up to about $1300 . The only reason I chose this complex was because I was in a bind and had to find somewhere to live quick. If I had time to do the research, I definitely wouldn't have chosen this complex. It's pretty but doesn't offer any incentives like all other apartment complexes. It ran by a greedy corporate office.

We have lived here for 2 years. Overall, content with the stay here but definitely not perfect. When we've had issues, it is usually with the maintenance staff on how things were handled (won't go into details). They have increased our rent every year so you should expect that. For the area it's in, it is probably the most decent out of all of them.

This is my very first apartment by myself. It has everything you need as in washer and dryer, central air and also a garage. The parking could be an issue if your garage is located toward the back of your building. The pool is great and always lively and the grace period helps when I travel for work. Great place to start in my opinion.

I have had a great experience with Rushwood. The office staff are incredibly helpful. They went above an beyond when assisting me with move in procedures. They were quick to answer even my most minor of questions. The apartment itself is well maintained, and very spacious for a one bedroom. The grounds of the complex, including the pool, are also well maintained. The neighborhood the complex is located in is quiet, yet extremely close to schools and shopping, which is quite convenient.

The manager is nice BUT the maintenance sucks takes forever to get something done. The floors are like paper and if the people below or above you are loud good luck the office only gives a warning nothing happens I sleep in my living room because my neighbors are loud in their bedroom and when asked to keep it down a little they don't care. The pool and fitness room cost extra even though it doesn't say that on their posts for rentals.

It's been a pleasure living here. It's quiet, the staff is great and the amenities are even better. The location is great, it's along the I-95 corridor so it's easy to travel from one end of the city to the other. The schools available nearby are top notch. Close to public transportation, and shopping. There is a hostpital and supermarket down the street. Literally everything you need is in walking distance. It includes central A/C and heating. Cable ready in all rooms. Plenty of storage space, including closets and for the top floor apartments, an attic. Maintenance is a 24/7 emergency service, so you can call at any time. They are usually quick to fix issues, but if their is a time delay, you will be compensated in some way. They have multiple layouts available that you can choose from to best fit your budget and/or needs. I highly recommend Korman Residential at Rushwood.

This place is clean and a great price. I have a garage and my own washer and dryer. My neighbors are nice and the workers are even better. They give you a decent grase period for rent and they are reasonable. I don't mind staying here for a few years before I buy a house.

The management office and manager are great! The apartments are very spacious and comfortable. The neighbors are very friendly. Great neighborhood, close to EVERYTHING! Absolutely no complaints!
