Property Ratings at Russell Street Flats
The Mgt only cares about the homeowners and the renters are out to fend for themselves. When we moved in the apartment was in horrible condition. It took us hours to clean. We had a problem with roaches from day one. There is not enough parking as homeowners have assigned spots which leaves very few for renters. The homeowners are allowed to park in their assigned spot or any open ones. There were many nights as a 21 year old female I had to walk blocks to get home as there were no spots. Add in the homeless people that hang out under the stairs and it's not safe. The icing on the cake was getting our security deposit back and having over half taken out for paint and cleaning. What a joke. I would love to post pictures of what we moved into and we didn't even hang anything on the walls. Steer far far away from this place!
I lived in RSF last summer for 2.5 months until I could move into my house. I loved the open concept and newness of the apartment. The counter tops and flooring were great, and it is nice and bright. The cabinetry was poorly done, but I pay attention to detail. The door to my WD wouldn't shut, and this was never fixed. I had a spider and fruit fly problem that was never addressed (I did not keep fruit in my unit). The previous tenant notified the property manager about a terrible window leak in one of the bedrooms (the one I had set up camp in), and I was not notified that IT HAD NEVER BEEN FIXED. I had many sleepless night mopping water from the floor and desperately trying to keep it from ruining my bed. The window was never fixed - even when I moved out. The property manager actually left the country while she was supposed to help me! The pool is usually pretty clean, but it is small. The fitness area is pretty small but the equipment is decent.
