Rustic Village Apartments

Property is beautiful and well kept. Management is strict about policy but provides timely maintenance support. Great if you're a UoR student as the rent is low and the shuttle service is decent. Being able to turn off your own fire alarm was a plus. Don't plan on housing more people than on the lease as they check the place routinely.

As of 9/25/22, they have rodents. They do the bare minimum to take care of it. You can hear them running in your walls. When I called maintenance they said “it a die eventually”. We said what else can we do they said we recommend getting a cat. If you get your own pest control you have to pay for any other damages done by the rodents from that point.

I spent 2 years in RV, here are some things I like about RV: great place to walk around here after dinner; the swimming pool and free car wash in summer; nice employees here and easy to communicate; good location(close to Costco, Asian market and universities)

Nice buildings, great landscaping, but a lot of the people are really rude, awful people. I get distracted from school because of my neighbor's child screaming, people not following basic decency, leaving dogs off leash and letting them use the bathroom everywhere without picking it up. A lot of the people are aggressive and entitled, thinking rules only apply to everyone else and never them. It almost seems as though Rustic strategically enforces rules for some people.

The pictures and amenities advertised actually look the same if not better in real life. After looking at three other locations, I was super impressed at the organization and the professionalism of the management staff. I was shown the actual apartment I could move into instead of a dressed up model. I had a minor maintenance request that was addressed and fixed within literally hours. The apartment itself looks great and is very well maintained to where I felt like I was moving into a high end hotel room. Most if not all the sound from neighbors and the street are blocked from inside my bedroom. My neighbors in the building come from a broad range of backgrounds and professions. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to live!

This place is overly priced for what you actually get maintenance is kind of slow and sometimes don’t fix the issue they have rats and mice in the walls that we’ve complained about multiple times and nothings been done and when they need the pavement redone they just close a lot and force everyone to walk even further than you already have to to get to your apartment and the walls are paper thin so plan on hear your neighbors every move I was extremely dissatisfied

We absolutely love living at rustic. Yosra made the move in process from out of state in the middle of winter so easy and worry free. Our pets love it here and they have a great dog park for them to stay active. There’s plenty of community family friendly events and the staff is always ready to help us with whatever we need.

I currently live here and cannot wait to leave. The neighbors are always loud, we've called three times and the issues continue. There are constant issues with bugs in the apartment, constant plumbing problems, garbage on the lawn more often than not, half of the gym equipment is usually broken, etc. I called the property manager to see what we could do about breaking our lease early because the quality of life has been pretty terrible, and she was extremely rude and when I mentioned I would be leaving an honest review, didn't care in the slightest. Avoid this place at all costs.

Totally not satisfied with the Apartment. Very noisy neighbors living about me and they keep me up all night where I got to catch up on my sleep during the day when they are at College! The girl runs around the Apartment to everything instead of walking! They drop heavy object every night over my living room like it could be a cold up table or bed. Security has talked to them over time but they just keep on continuing the problem! Really not happy here and want to move to better and nicer place! Definitely will NOT recommend your place to anyone!

Not recommend Rustic Village. The rent there is the most expensive in Rochester and their service is the worst. My room's heating system has problem and kept noisy whole night. I cannot sleep for whole night. I reported the issue to Rustic office to repair at 4 AM in the morning but they didn't take any action. I called back in the afternoon and they said they have no idea when the problem will be fixed. They just don't care tenants at all. Rustic Village is the worst choice!!!

The place is nice with really nice landscaping and pool however the staff has a very entitled attitude that does not lead to good customer service. On multiple occasions have had poor service from the staff and wouldn't recommend staying here for this one reason alone! If I had more room I would give detailed description of the poor service. Also from the report below you can see they gym is not good and they do not make any improvements either.

Even though rustic village is a fair price, if you do not like bugs do not live here. We have lived here for two years and live in a garden level and we repeatedly experience ant infestations, centipedes, flying ants, spiders, and one time even a MOUSE. Laundry is pretty pricey - you pay $4 a load (wash and dry). There is a gym with a small fee, but the residents do not wipe down the equipment and it usually smells. The only thing positive I would say is the location, and the price of the apartment. Other than that this place is less than ideal.

I am living in rustic Village for last 2 years - it is the best society I have ever lived. Affordable & Best. Staff is highly cooperating. Society is net & clean. Well maintained. Very beautiful Proximate to Market Area.. Lush Green Grass & Tree. Walking Area. Cricket & Football Ground. Lawn Tennis. Play Area for Kids. Basketball . Well Maintained Gym. Big Swimming pool. Party room. Library. Free DVD. And lot more. @Rustic Organize lot of Parties for resident.

Last year I moved from GA to Rochester. I lived there in many many apartments but never lived in one like Rustic village apartment. This is the largest community apartment with different offices for different purpose for e.g. receiving shipment package is sep office, maintenance is sep office, they even have free rental for sports equipment office, very large play ground, walking area and there is lot to describe that I cannot. Apartments are neat and clean as you walk in like a nice 5 star hotel all perfect nice and clean. I have learned there are people that lived here here for 10 years. But the most I like is service which is fast quick and perfect and professional. Yesterday I reported about my two ceiling fans that were not working right and they checked and today replaced to new fans. Mostly I really appreciate maintenance supervisor Jeff who ordered to replace fans immediately also maintenance guy Tom in the best because whenever I ask for anything before I know it, it is done perfect. If you like nice quiet peaceful place and lots of place to walk, run and exercise and don't mind paying another 100-150 extra than this place is for you. You may get a deal, talk to leasing office. I am very pleased and happy here and not to mention but also nice gym here and very nice laundry in every building.

I moved to Rustic Village about a year ago and one of the reasons I chose to stay here was because of the gym. I chose to pay an additional fee for a gym access key so that I could exercise given my busy schedule. The gym has been a big disappointment for me not only for the poor equipment that needs an upgrade badly but also because I have made polite, in-person requests to the staff for over a year now with no real improvements. The weights are broken, treadmills can break your leg and the abs machine works very poorly. They keep reassuring me that a complain has been filed, that the manager knows it etc etc but the quality never improves. I am thankful that they taped broken weights with well- a tape! It feels that my time and well being does not matter. They ask you to pay a $250 redecoration fee. I am amazed that they continue to show the gym facilities to prospective clients. There are many other housing societies in the vicinity that offer much better value for your time and money. They make you pay more and then don't really care.

Clean and friendly community, with free gym, pool, movies and package acceptance. Maintenance responds promptly and cordially.

I have been a resident of Rustic village for 2 years. It has been a great place to live in. I must admit that I've had the pleasure of experiencing great service from the management and maintenance staff. It is more than an apartment complex, it is a multi ethnic community and a family when you are far away from home! The grounds are always kept beautifully and in the winter months snow removal is done in a timely manner. There are fun and interactive activities for the residents (ranging from sports, fitness, using the pool facilities, and a shared library). Besides these attributes Rustic Village is close to shopping centers, hospitals, grocery shops like Tops/Wegmans, movie theaters, and many restaurant choices. Public transportation is reliable and very accessible within the apartment complex. I feel is is a safe environment to live and start a family.

This is the best neighborhood in the area. Nice park and children play area, tennis courts etc.The only thing is these are old buildings. I personally don't like Kitchen to be in front part of the apartment. The kitchen is not in a corner but in the middle of the apartment which makes us little difficult while cooking, need to have the exhaust fan all the time. No AC's in bedrooms, need a extra fans in summer.

The amenities provided are excellent with in apartment air conditioner, Kitchen Oven and microwave. In building laundry (washer and dryer). Most of the amenities used by me were Tennis court, Gym and basket ball court and they are really good with all the equipent provided on site.

The surrounding grass and tress are also maintained properly on monthly basis and surrounding kept clean. The rooms are spacious. The surrounding is calm, green and eye catching. Most of the amenities used by me were Tennis court, Gym and basket ball court and they are really good with all the equipment provided on site. Overall great apartment to live.

The best place I've ever rented from! Maintenance is timely! Staff is courteous and always helpful! Apartments are beautifully updated clean and quiet! Location is close to shopping, schools, parks, groceries etc. Amenities are numerous! Love it and highly recommend it!
