Discover the oasis that is Sabal Palms! Our upgraded apartment homes are in a gated community hidden in West Ashley right off Glenn McConnell Parkway but away from it all! We specialize in desirable amenities including valet trash service, impressive features, a beautifully renovated clubhouse, and distinguished customer service. All of our 1, 2, and 3-bedroom apartment homes feature an eat-in kitchen with granite countertops and upgraded appliances including a stove, built-in microwave, refrigerator, and freezer with automatic ice-maker, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and double stainless steel sink. We also have 1 and 2-bedroom apartment homes with sunrooms for that added space you can use as an office, relaxation area, or extra storage. Our 3-bedroom apartment homes include a sunroom and a kitchen island for more counter space, as well as walk-in closets. All apartments have oversized closets, cable/internet connections, plenty of outlets in all rooms, and a laundry room with connections for a full-size, side-by-side washer and dryer. Here at Sabal Palms we also have storage units and garages available based on availability at an additional cost. We are a pet-friendly community and love your furry friends!!! We invite them to play in our fenced-in dog park. Dogs and cats are allowed in our apartment homes with a non-refundable pet fee, per pet, and monthly pet rent, per pet. Please call for information on breed restrictions. Our residents can enjoy the sparkling swimming pool with an oversized tanning deck, a 24-hour fitness center, and a sand volleyball court. Lined with mossy oaks, the Ashley and Stono Rivers border West Ashley, creating the breathtaking scenery for which Charleston is known. West Ashley residents enjoy close proximity to the area's only indoor mall, the Citadel Mall, and a large number of big-box stores.
Situated seven miles due west of Downtown Charleston, residents can plan on a 15- to 30-minute drive, depending on traffic, to take in all downtown has to offer. Nearby Interstate 526, which feeds directly into Charleston’s Interstate Highway 26, gives residents a fast and easy route in and out of area. Mid- to late-1900s ranch-style homes characterize the housing in outer West Ashley, but neighborhoods built in the 2000s also sprinkle the area.

Its terrible and smells horrendous I hope someone doesn’t bring their kids to this trash dump.
Giant TRASH DUMP!!! Constantly garbage ALL OVER THE COMPLEX. So poorly maintained this is just an overpriced SLUM and this cooperation should be ashamed. Broken glass (some from busted out car windshields and some bc people here just throw glass in the parking lot and sidewalks), dirty needles!, Used condoms!, dead fish, metal bottle caps, rotten food (everything from chicken bones to McDonald's bags left all over the lawn and parking lot), discarded clothing (discarded in the bushes and lawn). Many of these were picked up and eaten by my puppy, who has nearly chocked on several of the items listed, some he ingested causing severe vomiting. The list goes on, roughly half a dozen cars up on blocks, major and minor maintenance issues that are rarely addressed bc there isn't enough maintenance staff, walls SO THIN I can hear the neighbors talking (entire conversations if they're close to the wall), not to mention you can hear EVERY STEP taken in apartments above you, cheap materials used in all apartments (think really thick cardboard and that's what your cabinets and walls are made of). I could go on but I'll end with saying signing a 15 month lease here was one of the worst decisions of my life. Don't make the same mistake, especially if you care about the safety of your children and pets!!!!
I moved in last week frim Mt. Pleasant and have found Carol and her staff to be helpful, friendly, and professional! I am loving living here and highly recommend Sabal Palms! My 2 BR 2BA is spacious and newly remodeled. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and wooded and quiet. It's just great here!

The Staff is AMAZING ! My son had to move to SC in a rush, like a 2 day rush. Megan, Tracey and Jennifer were the most comforting to a mothers cry for help. I sent my son to look at the apartments and to his surprise it very well kept and clean. He says the property is very nice and of course the dog park is impressive (even though he doesn't have a dog). He also says his first night went well and he didn't see any creepy crawlers. Definitely check this place out. Megan is such a sweetheart. As i am in Orlando but my heart is SC. I am a little at ease knowing this wasn't as stressful as i thought it would be. Thank you LADIES :)

Nice, quiet, safe place convenient to downtown. Lots of people have dogs. Maintenance does a great job. Pool is nice and hasn't been overcrowded once this summer. Appliances are a little dated and the carpet had to be treated twice for fleas. Be careful at the end of your lease. If you are one day short of 30 days notice, they will charge for each day short of 30 you were.
The apartment is fairly spacious, kitchen is not upgraded however. Outside is very pet friendly, lots of ponds and Forrest for dogs to play. Overall I'd say it's one of the nicer apartments for lower rent. So I would probably recommend.

I love living in Charleston. I am fortunate to live ten minutes from downtown, 20 minutes from the beach, and a few short hours from the mountains. The location at Sabal Palms could not be more perfect. The staff here make you feel like family, and the maintenance team fixes any issues the same day or the next. I feel like I am part of a community here, and my place (on the third floor) feels like I am in a tree house. I have never had to file a noise complaint, my neighbors are all great friends, and I would highly recommend this community to anyone who is friendly and looking to find likeminded people. This is also an amazing place if you are a nature lover. So many trees. They do spray for insects, but eagle sized dragon flies are not effected by that. I am proud to say I have lived here a year and NEVER seen a Palmetto bug! If you are from Charleston, as I am, you know what a feat that is! Overall great place to live!
