Longwood is a small, landlocked city right outside of Orlando. It’s mainly a residential community, with a significant portion of the population commuting to Orlando for work (The largest local employer, South Seminole Hospital, is located at the center of Longwood).
The schools in town earn excellent ratings, and the local attractions are exceptional: Big Tree Park is close at hand, providing access to one of Florida’s most beautiful natural landmarks; the close proximity to Orlando makes it easy for residents to reach some of the most popular tourist attractions in the nation; and of course, being Florida, the beach is only a short drive away.

Property Ratings at Sabal Park Apartments
The apartments look nice from the streets and in the pictures. The property is not managed well at all. The maintenance team cuts too many corners. The grass is infested with fleas. You can't go to the pool without getting ants all over your stuff. You cannot walk your dog without possible stepping in fire ants or dog poop left by other residents and still not picked up by the complex for days. There is constantly trash over flowing by the compactor all over the ground. There have been bears in the trash before it's so out of control. The sidewalks are green. Instead of bagging up leaves they blow them off the street and into the flower beds bright and early Monday morning. The trees are clearly over grown. The maintenance will make appointments with you to fix things and then not show up at all. Moldy sand bags left around the property instead of fixing structural things. The office never answer the phone and they don't respond to emails efficiently.
I've been residing at Sabal Park for two years. It's well kept, prestine, and neighbors are friendly, saying hello to passersby. Sabal Park is pet friendly, the apartments are large with walk in closets, marble master baths, and has a nice pool and BBQ area. The office staff, Victoria and Ana, are friendly, warm, and compassionate. They expedite tenants' maintenance orders quickly and efficiently. Ana, the manager, is very accommodating. She's flexible with special requests and makes a sincere effort to help tenants' needs. And Victoria, a sweet young lady, shows the apartments with enthusiasm and fervor. It would be nice if the fitness area were larger with more exercise equipment like other places, and the rents stable or at least have water included in the rent. Overall, it's a great place live. Two miles to I-4, one mile to restaurants and Publix, and three miles to Altamonte Mall and Wekiva State Park. Five star!
First off, the location of the apartment is great. It's in a quiet suburban area that is still close to malls, shopping centers, and all the basic grocery stores. The apartment was clean upon moving in in August and any issues that came up were promptly addressed by the management. The amenities of the complex are great, lovely pool area and nice gym.

I have been at Sabal Park Apartments for over 2 years. I have lived in both the Royal 2 bedroom and the Majestic 3 bedroom. Both plans are spacious with great closets and bathrooms. The school district is amazing and it's close to lots of restaurants and shopping. Plus the maintenance staff is quick to resolve issues and keeps the grounds clean and manicured.

Great community! My wife and I have lived here close to 2 years. Very spacious apartments, quiet, family friendly, great area, the office staff and maintenance team are awesome!
Recently moved into The Royal floor plan with my family and not only is the place spacious but it is cozy. The management staff is friendly and goes above and beyond to meet your needs. The maintenance people Are always kind, fast and highly efficient when it comes to work orders and repairs. The community and grounds are clean and well kept. I would reccomend this place if you’re looking for a quiet and cozy space. :)
Love this place! Due to my job I’ve had to relocate 5 times in the last 10 years and I’ve lived in all types of apartments and condominiums. Sabal Park is without a doubt the best residence my family and I have lived in. From the oversized floor plans to the staff this entire property is top notch. We’re about halfway through our third lease and have zero intentions of picking up and moving (as long as work cooperates) I highly recommend you at least take a tour of this complex if your looking in this market. Pros - Huge floorplans with large bedrooms - Neighborhood is QUIET!! Safe and well lit - Family friendly, my kids have kids to play with - A Rated School Zone, Sabal Point Elementary is a 5 min walk away and is rated one of the top 100 schools in the state - The buildings are older but well maintained. Older construction means thicker walls!! YOU CANNOT HEAR YOUR NEIGHBORS!! - Well maintained grounds - Plenty of parking, I’ve never had to park away from our unit - The location is great, it’s in a huge highly sought after neighborhood. It’s roughly 15-20 mins from downtown and we have passes to places like Universal, Disney, Seaworld which are roughly only 30-40 mins away but far enough you never deal with the "tourist” corridor. -Maintenance staff is outstanding. I still remember one time I was at work and my wife calls to tell me the air conditioning went out. She called the after hours line which if you’ve lived in an apartment before you know means they’ll see you tomorrow. But not here, now I was able to fix it myself upon arriving home (clog in the drain line, it happens) but how shocked was I when the maintenance manager knocks on my door at roughly 9pm to offer help. Like who does that!? They do and they’re great at taking care of residents. -Neighbors, ours are fantastic! They do all kinds of events and to give you an idea of how involved the community is it’s usually standing room only at these events. - Fire Station is less than 200 yards away. Cons - They have Spectrum cable as one of only two providers and they’re the lesser of two evils, ahhh I hate them but it is what it is. - This entire area is pricey. Not just these apartments but the entire area. If relocating be prepared for that if you want to live in this neighborhood. - Lots of trees which is great for shade and keeping things cool in Summer but good luck keeping your car clean lol

We have been living at Sabal Park Apartments for almost 5 years now and just renewed our lease for another 15 months. We love living here! The property is well maintained and the maintenance and office staff are exceptional, any problems are promptly taken care of. The apartments are large and very well equipted with excellent appliances, big windows and (in our case) beautiful easy to maintain laminate floors throughout, with carpeting in the bedrooms. We love sitting on our enclosed patio which has a fan/ light. We have (had) very nice neighbors and have had no problems with any! It is a very safe community and we would absolutely recommend Sabal Park Apartments !!
