Property Ratings at Saddle Club
Saddle Club is easily the best apartment complex I've ever lived at. The units and the property are very nice but that's not even the best part. For me, the best part was that the apartment management and staff are very accountable and detail oriented. All maintenance (whether routine or requested) was done quickly and correctly. In general, they treat their residents like human beings and seem to genuinely care if their residents are happy.
This is a spacious townhouse in a quiet and safe location. Close driving distance to shopping. Maintenance is great and will come at a speedy pace. They allow you to decorate as you wish. Highly recommend.

Currently starting my third year at Saddle Club and I love it! Great community. Quiet and peaceful. The apartment is spacious and plenty of room feel at home. Full basement with washer/dryer hook up is a huge perk! Staff are friendly and accommodating. Grounds and Maintenance crew are top-notch. No complaints. Would recommend to anyone!
My lease will be up in a few days and I wanted to jump on and do a review. I’ll start with the cons. CONS: The bathrooms are small. There’s no way around that. It was nice to have 1 1/2 bathrooms however there’s not much move around space and I didn’t decorate because I didn’t want the bathrooms to feel cluttered. The living room and dining area share a space so if you have big furniture good luck. Saddle club is a dog environment however people let their pets poop all over and don’t pick it up. Can’t let your dog run off his leash and play as well so that sucked for my family. The rental office is polite however even if you pay your rent on time and are never late, if there’s one slip up (maybe a banking issue) they will charge you $50 late even for one day and $35 for a late charge which is outrageous. Lastly, when you move out prepare to do an expert cleaning of your townhouse because they will CHARGE YOU FOR EVERYTHING. The neighborhood is average everyone is fairly quiet however there was a break in at my neighbors across the lot PROS: maintenance comes out almost immediately when called. They keep the outside grounds well maintained. The bedrooms are a good size. The basement is good for storage or an entertainment room. Overall I’d say homeownership is the way to go. I wouldn’t rent here again
When I initially moved in 2 years ago, I had no place to live and no prospects. Saddle Club welcomed me and made sure that I had everything that I needed. They are a model rental organization and I could not have been happier with their service during my time there. Their maintenance team is very responsive and the front desk and management staff is outstanding! Not to mention the perks of their cable package and the convenient parking. The neighborhood is also great; lots of great access to everything you need.
Awful company! Significant yearly rent increases imposed. In my whole life I've rented and never came across a company like this! $60 last year. And another significant increase again this year. Higher than the posted rent. They tell you at the end of the business day, in an email (60 days before renewal which is on the day you legally have to give a moving notice). Stay away from these people!
I would like to start off by saying if I were able to give it less than one star, I would. I was very disappointed with the professionalism of this establishment from moment one. The front desk "Leasing Consultant" was not very smart and seemed to play magic tricks with figures regarding how much money was due and when. In fact, she was so poor with her communication skills, the day that I went to put down the necessary deposit to hold a unit, she told me one amount ($1200), and when I got there, required a different amount ($300). What was most frustrating about this exchange was that they required certified checks or money orders for all transactions, so her inability to be clear with amounts due cost me extra fees (and time to go get a new check from the bank) to get these checks. Don't worry though, they are more than happy to have free access to your account to withdraw the rent funds when they see fit. In order to pay them rent any other way, there is an additional fee. No thank you. That being said, after having numerous negative signs that just made me feel like I should not sign a lease with these people, I decided to let them know I was no longer interested. The $300 that I put down for a deposit to hold the unit was a "redecorating fee". This fee is described as refundable up until you sign a lease, but the required deposit at approval to hold the unit for you. My approval happened on 4/17/18 but the unit was not available until July 1st. This unit still had tenants in it and presumably had a "redecoration fee" that they had submitted also. I told Saddle Club after 8 days that I was no longer interested, and I was informed by Corporate that they were not able to refund my "redecoration fee" because the unit has been taken off the market for a week. I was not told that the deposit was used for marketing fees. It seems disingenuous to have them keep a deposit to "redecorate" when I have not lived in the townhouse, have not signed a lease, and we are still 2.5 months out from me being able to even HAVE the unit due to people still living in it! This is just bad business all the way around and I will make sure that everyone is aware of their practices. I will definitely steer clear of them for the future and make sure all of my friends do the same.
This is a wonderful place to live. The grounds of the complex are extremely well maintained and the office staff is incredible. When maintenance needs to be done it is done in a timely professional manner. The pool and pool staff is well maintained and wonderful to the tenants. I can't say enough good things about Saddleclub townhomes.
Maintenance is great. The people are quiet. Everything is close. Rent is reasonable. These buildings are just a few years old. Snow is shoveled. Controlled access is great. Mailboxes are inside so you don't have to leave the building. Washers and dryers are in each building. Nice appliances and clean buildings. Overall great place!
