Where could we find a more quiet, beautiful, peaceful place to live? We face Polly Palmer Park; completely renovated buildings, security locks, polite maintenance and staff, screened in patio… near everything. Highly recommend

Poor communication from management, enter your apartment without your knowledge, if you enjoy increased crime this is the place for you. Don’t let their kindness for you as they will just give you lip service . Are they say residents are their priority and I think not just beware.!

Disorganized. Rude. Employees make up answers to questions if they don’t know the actual answers. Documents go missing. I had to terminate my lease early, being given 90 days to pay the lease breaking fee, by hardly 35 days after my information was already sent to collections despite the fact I made all of the proper payment arrangements thus far, the manager then tried to play down how absolutely wrong it was that my information was sent prematurely. I was also argued with when I told the office I did not receive any information about the money I owed after the final walkthrough. Turns out the mailed my certified letter of what I owed to the apartment I just moved out of within the community rather than the forwarding address that was provided. Avoid this place like the plague.

As a current resident to any prospective renters, here are just a couple of reasons you DO NOT want to live at Saddleworth Green Apartments (read all the reviews, these complaints are standard amongst the residents) 1. The apts are infested with roaches. 2. DOG CRAP EVERYWHERE, it smells so incredibly bad you don't even want to use your patio. 3. The water is shut off regularly sometimes ALL DAY!!! 4. The "security gate" has been "broken" the entire 8 months we've lived here with no explanation from management company. 5. The management office is impossible to reach by phone and rarely get a call back from voice messages. But you get through the leasing staff extension no problem LOL. 6. There is liter and garbage left all over the grounds. Even the water pond is brimming with floating trash. The best way I can describe these apartments is it's a "Pig with lipstick" sold to you.

This is by far the worst place I have ever lived. The community is beautiful but they use it to mask the terrible management that they have. You can NEVER get ahold of the office as a resident even though there are maybe 5-6 employees in there at a time. They recently started redoing the roofs on all of the buildings from the tornado that came through and that's great.... except the contractors that were hired were semi-careless in the process. They knocked a large metal beam off of the roof and it fell into my patio screen causing it to rip. I sent an email to the property manager Paula (after getting the email from one of the employees in the office) just to let her know of the damage that way I would not be charged for it at the end of my lease. I asked her to please let me know when she received the pictures. It has been over a week and I still have not received a response. After walking my dogs this morning, I come to find 2 very large nails from the roofing renovations in the grass where I take my dogs to use the restroom. I would hate for my dogs to step on them and because they are redoing the roofs through the entire complex, there is nowhere for residents to walk their dogs without having to worry about the nails. I really wish I would've paid more attention to the reviews before choosing to move here. This has by far been the worst and most stressful place to live... I wouldn't recommend it to anyone and I CANNOT wait for my lease to be over. If they would let us out of it now I would take that option in a heartbeat. Beautiful complex but it is nowhere near worth dealing with the money hungry management team that runs the place. P.S, the reviews about them constantly shutting the water off is true. They shut it off at least once/twice a week :)

I welcome a direct conversation with you to better understand your feedback and will reach out to you to discuss your concerns. We want all our residents to be happy in their homes and I look forward to speaking with you soon. Regards, Denise Regional Manager
Please do NOT move in here. We have had a cockroach problem after being here 1 week and we are extremely clean people. We spray excessively and even have their service every Friday and it has not gotten better. Our upstairs neighbors have noisy grandchildren that run around for 12 hours a day and were nasty when we asked them to be considerate of their downstairs neighbors. The “updates” are terrible. We have dried dripping paint on our walls and doors and a huge hole in the wall where our hot water heater is. The floors are so cheap that they just pull up and dent so easily. For the price you are paying it is not even close to what it is worth.

So, I can tell you right now its nothing like the photos. The rooms are dark and not very clean. Staff also is not as friendly. Theirs no doubt that if you had problems of any sort that they would possibly look for excuses to do nothing for you. Its expensive and the price is not justified for what your getting. Just saying.

I had the pleasure of visiting this complex and I was very impressed with the facilities. I must say the painting captured my eyes the most and apartment look overall. A few of my friends recommended this place and they did me well??. Being a artist, I admired the horses in the lobby and the color paint choices throughout the grounds. I give the painter and crew much praise, for this really made me feel warm and welcoming. I’ve been to several others apartments and the painting here was on point!!!!
We have lived here for a year. We have had a leak above our bath tub from the neighbors above us for almost 9 of those months. Have told management over and over about it. Still no solution to the problem. The apartments are old and out dated. We have also had a problem with bugs. Again weve reported it over and over. Still no solution to my problem. We have gone and sprayed ourselves to try and get control. A job we pay them to do. Now they told my kids they are not allowed to color with sidewalk chalk in front of our door. Pretty petty if you ask me! Half the time the gates dont work at the entrance. Spend the extra 100 and go next door to Tuscany Apartments.
Worst place i have ever lived. Roach problems. Dog park is dangerous with screws sticking out of the ground. People always out at the pool until midnight with loud music. Apartment has had lots of issues. Not worth it at all.
30 year old complex and it shows. Leaky pipes, popcorn ceilings, non textured walls. Upon move in there were too many problems to be fixed to be listed here, including giant roaches on the countertops. After finally spraying, they left the front door unlocked, so anyone could have ransacked the place all day long. The walls are full of holes that were never patched, just painted over. Sliding glass door seals are broken, and the glass is so cloudy its hard to see out. The master bathroom door is 24" wide, and the bathroom itself is so small you can hold your arms out and touch both walls. The toilets run, but don't expect that to get fixed, been here a month and still waiting. A new flapper doesnt help when the toilet still has original hardware from 30 yrs ago. Maintenance gets annoyed when you put in a request, which you have to do online, so don't hold your breath. If you think you'd enjoy living in a cheap roach infested motel, then this is the place for you.
We have lived here for over a year . Since we moved reported leaking on our roof and they have done nothing about it. We can't wait to move out. Our apt has mold on the roof and Ac vents. The roofing company came to inspect and said the entire roof needed to be replaced and nothing has been done. My child has been sick due to the mold and management still won't do anything. We keep asking for a new apartment and still they won't work with us. This place is the worst ever.
Steeples 2901 is a great community. My particular area is very quiet and friendly. The staff are all very nice and any maintence issus that I have had has been resolved quickly. Liz does an amazing job managing such a large facility!
Great apartment, new appliances, new carpet, beautiful clean grounds, quiet, plenty of parking, safe and a feeling of home. If that isn't a jackpot then I don't know what is. Stephanie, the Leasing Specialist, was helpful, knowledgeable and made the process easy and quick. There are two pools, two ponds and walking trails/running trails that make you feel thankful for outdoors. Even my cat gets to go safely outdoors by way of the fully screened in patio. I'm so happy and pleased to live here. If you are looking for a place to call home, try here you'll feel like you won the jackpot too.
I've lived at Steeples 2901 since is was Paddock Park...overall I've signed 3 different leases and never really had an issue with things. There are questionable neighbors from time to time, but never have felt like I was in a low class area. Since Steeples took over last year it seems like many improvements have been made including the ability to pay rent online which is really nice.
My lease is about to be up and it cannot come soon enough. I have had relentless fruit flies since 2 days after I moved in no matter how clean I keep my house. Maintenance installed a roach infested refrigerator after mine died 1 month into my lease. The appliances are from the 90s, my dishwasher has a constant rotting smell no matter how much I clean it, and is rusted on the inside. I have complained about my upstairs neighbor's kid and their constant jumping at all hours multiple times and nothing has been done (my walls and furniture shake it's so bad) and another neighbor has people over smoking pot all hours of the day and night. They charge $40 / mo for cable that is "hardwired" into every apartment with no option to opt out, plus fees for water, garbage and pest control on top of the base rent, so plan on your rent being at least $75 more than advertised. Plan to see rent prices go up even further here. They are looking to go "luxury" like every other mediocre apt complex in Ocala.
Moved in 6 months ago. Difficult transition into apartment living again. Loud, disrespectful neighbors. Management took care of 1 obnoxious family, but not another. Arranged for maintenance to come 3 times by appointment. No show. I think the hardest thing for me is noise. Maybe if I was not on a parking lot side, hearing very loud car radios and cars speeding in and out. There are children and people have their dogs off leashes, could be hit by a car. Since management has changes and some wonderful long time employees walked out, it's not the same. Every review states about the beauty of the property, which is true, but I would rather have quiet, than pot smoking, disrespectful neighbors, loud in the hallway. Needless to say, I may not live through the lease.
The perfect place to live close to the nature, great landscaping. Lots of bushes, really quiet and nice to live.
When we first moved into Steeples 2901 (formally Paddock Park Apartments) it had a really nice homey atmosphere, and really affordable housing which was one of the main reasons for moving here since we had to relocate from Fort Lauderdale. Its convenience to the middle of the city made it easy to become acclimated to the new location and it's pretty close to anything. We've been residents there for 6 years and since the new management, they've made really tremendous efforts on beautifying the property and upgrading the community. It's a safe, kid-friendly atmosphere, although sometimes it does have some questionable residents, which is normal, but luckily nothing too over the top. They did have a few fires in the complex, which was unsettling and the maintenance crew could be a little more prompt, but all in all, its a pretty nice place to live.
I had a difficult time living here. I had my AC go out a bunch of times, my fridge broke, my stove worked when it wanted to and I had a leak in my ceiling. The location, scenery, price, and square footage was amazing. But overall I had so many issues with maintence that I left. I didn't have AC on the hottest day or didn't have heat in the coldest. This was when It was Paddock Park before the management chance.
From the moment we drove into the development, we loved the beautiful, lush landscaping that thoughtfully compliments the large, oaky campus. Instantly at home because of the nature-rich atmosphere, we practically said yes before touring the inside of the apartment. Moving from a house into the 3-bedroom apartment made it seem small, but closet and storage space is ample, and the lakefront, tree-lined view makes up for that. Steeples 2901 has recently changed ownership and management, so they are busy making a lot of improvements to the amenities, my favorite of which is a key-card entry to the athletic center that will allow for later access. Right now the 2-pools, tennis court, waterfront athletic center and laundry room all are off-limits at 9pm, which seems behind the times to me. Fortunately there's a washer/dryer hookup so we brought our stackable with us. Over all, my husband, my kids, my dog and cat and I all are happy, though looking forward to improvements and still trying to fit the living room furniture the best way.
My wife and I, our lives have changed so drastically in the past few months that I really don't know where to start. It began when we became empty nesters. No more kids at home so we decided to move to Florida. This is my wife's home town and so far we love it. We needed to sell our house in Indiana and we also needed a place to move to in Florida so we got an apartment at Paddock Park. Beautiful lakes and landscaping, swimming pools, great parking but not without its problems. We encountered several problems with the old owners but with the new owners, I say,"Change is Good!" We didn't have an A/C for 2 weeks, but with the new owners, we now have A/C and a 2 week discount on our rent. Very impressive in my book. New roof work all over this complex. New pavement everywhere. Total renovation to one of the pool locations with an added California kitchen. Just a few months ago I would not advise anybody to come here, but today, I just might be their greatest advertisement. It's peaceful here, even with all the construction work. I've said it once, no twice and I will say it again,"Change is Good!"
Great location in Ocala. Great amenities with 2 pools, 4 tennis courts, and a fitness center Minutes from shopping and a lot of dining choices. Within an hours drive to Disney World and Orlando theme parks.
This city boy just moved to a town known as "Horse Capital of the World." It's a small town with a fraction of the population of my previous city. Nothing but Dude Ranches and spoiled children. When it came to apartments around here, everyone will tell you the same thing: "You get what you pay for." Jokes on them! I found a great place, with large units, pet friendly, well maintained ponds and parks, two pools, tennis and other recreational areas, no ridiculous waiting list to lease, and great rates. It's located in the somewhat busier part of town next to the interstate, so I'm free to get the heck out of here for the night/weekend if I feel like it. Best of all, the people in the leasing office actually want to HELP YOU find a great deal on apartments since some are valued more than others based on location in the complex. What you see online for prices DOES NOT reflect their actual rates. Minus the new gaudy brown paint they used on the buildings, definitely check them out!
