If I can give 0 stars I Would. This place has the worst management style and extremely poor communication. They have multiple emails and phone numbers that they never respond to. For the simple reason of the poor and unprofessional staff and the apartment complex is old and rundown. Please believe the poor reviews... DO NOT MOVE HERE.

We moved in a month ago. We are so happy we finally found place where is excellent customer service and amazing place to live. Alison made it so much easier for us. Any time we had questions she would respond right away. We wish all the companies would have someone like Alison working for them. Very very pleasant. Thank you Alison!!!!

The management company has turned this place into the slums. They will not hire proper exterminators to get rid of their roach problems, they will do not do anything about noise disturbances and will allow upstair neighbors to torture you without any consequences. Management doesn't care about the residents because they don't have our best interests in mind. They just come to work. Very unprofessional and lazy. The property is dirty, they never clean up daily like other properties do, there is old leaves everywhere. Do NOT move here if you have too, most residents end up breaking their lease early because they can't take how nasty the property really is once they move in and dealing with incompetent leasing agents. Everyone apartment is dirty when they move in and they will LIE to get you in. Don't fall for it. RUN!!!

I could go on and on about this apartment complex, but I will start here. Run for the hills. The property is not maintained as it should for the rent they charge. The pool was delayed in opening and is closed more than is open. The car wash area is horrible as the hose is broken and the vacuum hose is taped. Parking is a nightmare. The staff do not inform you when maintenance will be entering your apartment as well as any other community news and information.

I lived there for two years while I was trying to buy a house, it was longer due to Covid. From day one The staff had me second-guessing my thought to live there. I was told I needed to have renters insurance, no problem, I bundled it with my auto insurance. On my Signing date I was told that I had to use their insurance not my own, that was aggravating. The leasing staff just seems like they don’t communicate to each other and don’t know what’s going on half the time. The parking is horrible and very limited and gets very crowded on the weekends from people coming over and partying all the time. They sign and hold packages in the office which is fine, until they started miss placing packages and giving them to the wrong tenants. I was told at this point that there was nothing they could do leaving me to go find my own packages. It got so bad that they now make you show an ID to claim a package at the office. The maintenance staff is friendly and nice but doesn’t seem like they know what they’re doing. The pool was supposed to be open on memorial weekend but still wasn’t open in August due to the fact it wouldn’t pass the city inspection. I could go on all day about the issues that take place here but instead I’ll say just find another place to stay.

I just moved on to my apartment about a week ago. So far everything has been great. The application process was easy. My only issue is getting in contact with the office. I would call and call and no one would answer. But when I drove up there nobody was doing anything. Email would be your best form of communication. Binneey was pretty good and made move in pretty easy. I did have to push my move in date back some due to the apartment not being ready. The unit I moved in to was pretty clean and decent minus the bathtub which I made a compliant and was assured it would be resolve. So far everything is good

So I put in an application Thanksgiving evening. The lady I spoke with seemed nice and professional at first, however she kept telling me I'll have my answer by the end of the day regarding approval. This never happened. I called, left messages, no answer. Finally I decided to leave an email.....after almost a week the leasing consultant finally decided to respond, letting me know I didn't get approved, and that's fine. I just feel if I never sent that email asking her to reply regarding my application status I would have never heard anything back and that is very unprofessional.

I’ve been in these apartments for over a year and a half and Safire at Matthews recently took over management from McAlpine Ridge about 10 months ago; Since then the grounds are always littered with trash and old diapers in plastic bags all along the tree line. Residents put garbage bags in front of their doors (attracting bugs and squirrels and other vermin) for days at a time. I’ve complained to management about this at least 5 times and their response is they’re going to send letters out to everyone in the building but I’ve yet to see or receive a letter after 9 months and the trash in the breezeways continues on a daily basis! After my lease is up I’m moving to another location, this one is slowly becoming a slum village.

Ok so first of all one of the dopest places to live. Sweet to know you have a great team who cares and is there for you when ever you need them. Diahjia nd Kalen not only made gave us a peace of mind with our concerns they also made us feel comfortable and it felt more of friendship then business. Theres a great park with private access, close to the city and tons of places to eat nearby need. Affordable prices, spacious size apartments and you get to redeem points you earned for upgrades, merchandise, etc. Thank you again Diahjia and Kalen for making us feel awesome.

After all is said and done, I've accidentally left my vehicle unlocked on many occasions and nothing has ever gone missing. I even was so in such a hurry last night when I got home, that I left my keys in the door all night! So in respect to safety, its been great. The rent is relatively cheaper than most which is the only reason why I am renewing for a 3rd year. Though I am scared to find out my renewal rate.

We feel safe and appreciate many features of this complex. The only downside is that the price is rising quite a bit so for a one bedroom apartment it's hard to spend close or over $800.

Rent increases dramatically at renewal close if not over $80. My previous residents only increased $20 or less. Roaches out if control, huge, they fly.

I am new but so far i like what i see therefore i would recommend. The waterbug issue has to be taken undwr control however and improvements to the gym because the few equipment they have needs just a little tlc. The treadmills skip when you walk on them and the weights dont line up. If they had free weights that would be great

The area and the complex is great. The problem I have is that absolutely nothing is done to improve the interior of my apartment.

I would recommend this apartment complex. It is a great place to live. The maintenance people are always friendly and the office personnel as well.

I highly recommend McAlpine. The staff does a fantastic job in providing the best service. I have never had such a positive experience with especially with Noe and Jeff.

Mcalpine ridge apartments are well maintained apartments, secluded in a bright and friendly atmosphere. Upon entering the apartment complex , one is pleasantly surprised by the resort like atmosphere the club house,pool, and gazebos provide. Access to hidden trails and a beautiful park within the development is an added bonus. The staff at Mcalpine Ridge are knowledgeable and friendly
