Property Ratings at Salado Crossing
DO NOT MOVE HERE. Upon move in the apartment was absolutely filthy. It was infested with roaches, had old stained carpet that smelled like an animal and was just not cleaned before move in. The front manager is incredibly rude and upon move out we were charged over 1200 dollars to replace the carpet even though we did not damage it during our one year stay. They charged us for damages that we noted on our move in checklist and refused to remove the charges or provide the checklist. We had multiple issues with our bathtub breaking and maintenance would never fully fix it so we had to keep calling someone but the faucet hardly ever worked. There would be trash around the apartment complex often and the gate would not close frequently.(which might be why my car was broken into on the property). We do have a dog that is fully potty trained and never once went pee or poop on the carpet and I would put that on my life. They just knew the carpet was old and needed to be replaced so they are trying to charge us for damages we did not make. We are contacting a lawyer now but I just wanted to warn anyone thinking of renting here.
I would not recommend, the customer service is trash, the area is horrible, it was a good place at first but now there are consist car break-in, my car was hit and ran, my wife’s catalytic converter was also stolen. The rate increase is insane about $300. The dog park is dirty. The gate is always having issues which keep the property unsafe. Update Maintenance sucks, they are known for closing tickets and not completing jobs. Had to threaten with a lawyer for them to fix ceiling due to mold damage due to AC line leaking, it took 2.5 months and multiple Maintenance tickets for it to get fixed.
Beautiful apartments and friendly staff and neighbors!! Just be wary of price increases. During my lease renewal, I was charged $170 increase. I’ve never lived in an apt. complex that did that before!! Headquarters insane price hike to current, loyal residents is ludicrous. Will it be $300 Increase next renewal? Where do they draw the line??
