I often do not leave negative reviews but I am seriously blown away by the fact that this complex is trying to charge me for carpet that was already extremely damaged and in need of replacing due to circumstances out of my control. (A major curling leak and flood) During my almost 3 year tenancy there was a leak in the roof that completely flooded the surrounding carpet and caused severe water damage. The carpet was not replaced meaning the water damaged carpet was still present. The managers argued that there was pet stains and charged me to replace carpet that had significant damage due to flooding. I am also Extremely disappointed in that this is the way my tenancy is ending especially because I was extremely understanding, did not complain, or ask for (rightful) compensation for the long period of time my newborn and I were displaced because of the leak. I had been a great tenant and again was more than accommodating when the issue of the leak arose and I feel that I am now being met with unfair consequences of my leniency and understanding. It appears as though my reasonable concerns and factual recount of events are being ignored, and that this establishment refuses to take them into consideration. Because of this incident as well as others that i overlooked during my stay (car being broken into multiple times homeless/ unknown people rummaging through the garbage cans and my car being hit and while in its parking space with no records. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPLEX moving forward.

As discussed offline, we feel that charging you for the 2 bedrooms where there were pet stains is reasonable, while we incur the cost of the rest of the carpeted areas in the apartment. I do not recommend moving into Salishan apartments. We've had our cars damaged several times by construction workers they hired, have had paint spilled onto our cars, have had the police show up on our door because there has been homeless people sleeping on our steps multiple times (showing that security is clearly lacking around here), were unable to access our patio for almost six months, were unable to use our carports, the gym, and the pool for the majority of the two years we have lived here, and have had people entering and exiting our apartments for construction more times than I can count throughout the past two years. We pay a lot of money for rent and management is hardly ever helpful. They always blame it on cooperate. We want to love it here but have been treated so poorly we just can't. I recommend you take your hard earned money somewhere else to live peacefully, because our experience here has been anything but peaceful.
This was our first apartment we moved into and we had a ton of questions. We toured the property multiple times and Andrea in the front office was so helpful. We’re about halfway through our lease and have had no issues. Office staff and maintenance is friendly and quick to respond. Our building was completed before we moved in so construction didn’t bother us much, yes parking was shut down but we haven't had problem finding parking near our apartment. Overall salishan is a clean and quiet place to live. Looking forward to continuing our lease!

This complex is a joke. We were harassed by others and the complex did nothing to help us because they stated they had no proof. We moved into this unit for 6 months and were fooled by the nicest management. But never again. I would never recommend anyone move into this complex. They will take you for all the money you have and then some when you move out. They stated in our moveout notice that they had to replace the carpet due to extensive wear and tear and stains. Mind you we did not even wear our shoes in the house and I deep cleaned the apartment before we left but they are still charging us. There were numerous broken tiles and maintenance needs but none were solved while we lived there. To top it off the construction is non stop and causes flat tires because the construction crew does not clean up after themselves. There is also no place to park after 5 pm so don’t even think about leaving. The spots are small and many people park over the line making it impossible to park in your reserved spot. There are also cars that sat in the parking lot the whole time we lived there obviously broken down or abandoned and they never got towed or removed which took spots from us. The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors conversations like they are in the room with you. This company just wants to charge you for the money they are putting into the outside construction job. You basically can’t even live in these units without being charged. Look elsewhere. This place is garbage since the new company took over. Don’t let the cosmetic changes fool you! Almost everything in my unit had damage or problems.

Adrienne, we have addressed every situation you brought to our attention. We offered to remove the tile and replace it with new vinyl, you declined and said it was not that big of a deal and that you would only be here for 6 months. We understood and notated that on your file. We understand that you do not agree with your move out charges. We have provided you written documentation by a professional carpet cleaner that your carpet was heavily soiled with urine. We have pictures with black light showing this in multiple areas of your apartment. I understand you do not want to owe anything and that you did your best to deodorize the carpet but the carpet was damaged and must be replaced. If you remember, we had to replace your carpet the first time you lived here due to urine as well. Of course we will work with you if you need to make payment arrangements. We sincerely apologize that your living experience with us was unsatisfactory. The Salishan apartments are a beautiful and well-managed and maintain Apartments. I will recommend them to anybody. After residing there for over 2 years there was a misunderstanding with our forwarding address regarding money we owed for the move out. Our credit would have been damaged if it wasn't for Brandy's knowledge patience and understanding. She fix the problem and we cannot thank her enough

We have been here since March of 2015. I do enjoy our apartments during the day. We are a gated community with 2 pools, a gym, play ground for the kids and a huge field out front for the dogs to run. But at nite I do have concerns. My car has been broken into and have seen other cars vandleized. Our dumpsters are ransacked at nite by random people who don't live in our community. We supposedly have security but don't see them often. We have notified the office but nothing really has changed.Simple things should be addressed and this place would be perfect.

It is our goal to do whatever we can to deter persons who are not welcome from entering our community. We work very closely with our patrol company and if you have any additional suggestions we would like to hear from you.
My favorite part about this complex, are all of the mature trees. The apartments are surrounded by them, many including redwoods. There is a lovely man made stream that runs through the center of the complex. I love all of the birds & squirrels. All of these elements make for a peaceful place to casually walk. They allow large dogs and terrier mixes too! My only complaints are: 1- the section 8 apartments next door. They are loud & trespass in the pools. 2-There is a bar next door, that creates a lot of car traffic/illegal parking & loud base music. 3-Maintenance arrives on their own time. I wish they would give a heads up as to when they are coming so you aren't waiting all day long.

The property is very clean and we'll maintained. The staff is very friendly and are always helpful. They are very pet friendly and are affordable. The gated in property is tucked back off the main road and is very quiet for the location. There is easy access to the freeway and to a lot of shopping and dining. We are definitely glad we found the Salishan apartments.
