Property Ratings at Salt Fork Apartments
If you are in need of an apartment I would highly recommend Salt Fork Apartments. Not only are they nice and well maintained but you also have the option of having a garage. Mallory and Mikayla do an amazing job of managing the property and are very professional and easy to work with. Ray who does an awesome job of maintaining the property. He goes above and beyond to make sure everything is working properly. I was there 3 years and they were always great to work with if you had any issues.
My wife and I have been renting at the Salt Fork Apartments in Amarillo for several years and we wanted to share a brief comment on the amazing management team and the facilities. For us, there are just not enough “stars” to rate appropriately the employees that work at Salt Fork and to properly provide recognition for the services they provide every day. Property Manager Mallory, Assistant Property Manager Mikayla and Maintenance Manager Rey are very professional, responsive, proactive, caring and a credit to the Salt Fork Apartments. Their customer service is always outstanding and responsive to any questions and/or maintenance issues that may arise while keeping us in-formed throughout the process. We highly recommend Salt Fork Apartments and if you are in the market for an incredible apartment complex to call home for you and your family, look no further because you won’t regret it.
I only lived here for 3 months, but made at least 7 service requests. Small thing kept not working. The biggest thing was the washer I rented from them. It never worked! They finally gave me some money back after I contacted them multiple times, but only fixed it a week before I moved out. Also, I had to call the office because my statement was wrong every month. I would not recommend this apartment.

Good afternoon, Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience at Salt Fork. It is unfortunate to hear that you didn't enjoy your time while living here. We always strive to make your experience with us as pleasurable as possible, and that includes maintenance issues. I would like to start off by thanking you for bringing each of these maintenances issues to our attention so that we were able to quickly alleviate each of them for you. As you may know, we offer a service through an accredited vendor which allows us to rent washer and dryer sets to our residents. Unfortunately, this means that if any mechanical issues arise we are required to contact the vendor to have it repaired or replaced. We try to make an asserted effort to inform incoming residents that it will take up to two weeks for any service requests regarding their w/d appliances to be completed. Upon completion, if the issues persist we are required to submit an additional work order, and that can take an additional two weeks, etc. We understand the inconvenience associated with not being able to use your washer and empathize with the discomfort it can cause. With that being said, with a situation as unique as this one, we believe it is only fair that you receive a proper refund for the entire amount of the w/d rental. With this particular situation came the uncommon challenge of consistently updating monthly statement information. We understand your time here proved to be challenging, and we truly apologize. Thanks to your feedback, and we will try to make certain that we work with our vendors to shorten their response time and keep this from occurring in the future.
Beautiful apartment homes! Love the stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. Definitely the nicest apartments in Amarillo.
The one bedroom is small with 2 choices on placement if you have a couch and tv. The closet is in the bathroom is suppose to be walk in but good luck finding or getting clothes from the enclosed ends. the water is a set amount of $37.62 for one bedroom, that they text you before the first of the month. Security gates are possessed - have been known to not open when trying to leave - they are left open most of the time.

The Llano floor plan is 583sqft. It is a charming, modern one-bedroom floor plan. This particular floor plan is the one floor plan that is equipped with a spacious standard closet. We here at Salt Fork apologize if you were under the impression that you were provided a walk-in closet with the Llano. The water is set at a standard rate every month unless you exceed a generous amount of 3,000 gallons within that particular month. With our resident's in mind, we take the time to send out your monthly statements prior to the first of each month. This statement breaks down each individual charge, and shows you how much your charges will be in total. Lastly, we have redesigned our gates so that they are functional, and user friendly. As of 2017, we have installed brand new sliding gates, and did away with our problematic swinging gates.
