Samford Square

i have been looking for apartments for my kids and I spoke with margaret. She was super friendly and helpful. she made the process so easy. I would definitely recommend Samford Square and make sure you speak with Margaret!!!

THEY HAVE A THEATER ROOM!!!! They also have a study room which I thought was pretty cool I always invited my classmates to the study room to finish projects that we had for class. Afterwards we’d go sit in the hammock garden and relax. It’s always really quiet and on game days it’s always fun.

Previous apartments I stayed in didn’t care about their residents or the security of the complex. Samford Squares office staff and maintenance staff always took care of me wether I had a bad day and called upset about a bill or had problems with my apartment they spoke to me with poise and care. Wonderful property 10/10 would recommend staying here.

According to the management the washer and dryer are “amenities” and therefore not guaranteed. So, long story short, plan on doing your laundry at a laundry mat if you live here. My son hasn’t had a working washer since he moved in and they have no timeline on when it might be fixed. Also, has only had a/c about half the time.

My apartment was infested with carpet beetles and the leasing manager initially refused to pay the bill for the carpet cleaning services, almost to a point of a yelling match. Aside from the lack of professionalism, the staff waives certain fees to residents if they leave good reviews--hence: do not trust the good reviews. You'd be better off living in your car than here.

I would not recommend anyone live here. Some of the staff is friendly, most do not know what they are talking about. The unit itself can range from disgusting to mediocre, depending on which building and unit you're placed in.

Staff is very receptive and help with anything they can, maintenance is quick with repairs and very sweet. All in all a great place to live.

Been here for 2 years since July 2018 and have never had a bad incident. The management and front office are nice and super helpful. The maintenance gets stuff done when they say they will. And the inside is actually real nice and looks a lot newer than a lot of other apartments in Auburn. If you are looking for a low rent with a nice apartment Samford Square is the spot.

This is a superb property and extremely affordable with plenty of parking. The grounds are lovely and Instagram-worthy. And The leasing staff is super helpful. I've only had one interaction with maintenance, but their response time was great. Plus, they were extremely polite and friendly. I highly recommend.

I try to give these people the benefit of the doubt but they are not friendly and very rude. I ask for simple things to be fixed it’s always a problem . Nobody who lives here has had a mailbox key for over a month we have to get them to open our boxes , but one week they literally closed down Saturday and Sunday without any prior notice and I could not get my important mail. I can’t even lie worse place ever.

My daughter and her roommates were excited to move in their first apartment. However, when we arrived the apartment was not complete. There were missing blinds in one room, broken towel bar, missing bathroom tiles, a cracked window, missing shower curtains, a/c not working and the list goes on and on. I am very disappointed with management at Samford Square because these girls completed their lease in May so there was plenty of time to have the apartment completed and move-in ready. Highly disappointed customer!!

I didn’t live here (and never would) but their kid manger was disrespectful and unprofessional when I was trying to file a complaint for my friend who did live there. The desk worker, I’m not joking, stormed outside and tried to fight me over the complaint I made about their desk staff not knowing anything and giving out wrong information. Disorganized management and disrespectful workers.
