Property Ratings at San Angelin
The staff is excellent here. I love living here the kids love the pool and the playground. Everyone in the office is very friendly, and the maintenance staff is great. i would recommend these apartments to friends and family.
if you make too much money they won't rent to you. check first otherwise you'll waste money on the application fee.
I have been a resident at this complex now for 4 years, and throughout that time they have decided off and on to lock the back gate in the evenings. But within the last 6 months or so they have been persistent on locking it every "evening" and it remains locked throughout the weekend until someone shows up the next business day and decides to open it. The residents are not given a key to the lock on the back gate nor the side small back gate. Therefore if there was an emergency or fire in the complex during the hours the gates are locked, ALL 400 occupied apartments and their residents/families are left to exit out of the only other exit at the front of the complex. One of the managers who also resides in the apartments, parks her BMW at the back of the complex, so that seems to me the reason why it has been consistently locked. The other night the fire department and ambulance had to break through the back gate to get to an emergency, I thought that they would change things.... but NOPE! They've locked them once again. The property maintenance personnel are much nicer than the office staff, so that is one positive thing I can say about it. It's my understanding that a fenced off property housing that many residents should have AT LEAST 2 egresses, whether it be a gate that just allows you to exit or enter and exit, they MUST provide 2 egresses or the residents a key to the back gate. It is also my understanding that the distance in between cars in the parking lots should be AT LEAST 20' wide to allow room for a fire truck and cars to pass through. The complex is in violation of both. We should be heard as tenants and we are just ignored and told what to do. Funny thing is, less than a quarter mile west of us is another apartment complex that is NOT fenced in, nor does it have gates and they cost more money to rent from! So I'm confused why we would need to lock our gates..... management is all I have to say to that!
I moved in November 2015 always paid my rent. Was always harassed by management about being late. Was threatened about eviction. Always paid rent. Complained about scorpians, but they would only send exterminator when they felt like it. I would never advice anyone to move here. Contact BBB and legal advisors for a law suite.
Its a quite neighborhood, they allow dogs and cats in there establishment. Quick walk to all local stores. The staff is always changing but i feel that it is for the better of the company.
San angelin is great, friendly staff and very affordable, located in a good area, 2 elementary schools an a high school winch is 3 miles from the complex, it is also gated which offers a sense of security and don't forget about the two pools easily accessible
My daughter and I found the apartment complex online. The pictures were nice but it had mixed reviews. We wanted to schedule a visit but we're told to just stop by so we did and we waited while the short handed office staff tended to others. We waited in a lobby with furniture that had an odor to it with cushions that were flat and well past their life's expectancy. Once it was or turn we were given a key with a map and left to find it ourselves. Walking through the property we noticed a lot of tenants had trash on their patios and front doors. A quick glance of the unit appeared ok. Once back at the office we mentioned the trash issue and they quickly replied that they issues notices to tenants and it would be taken care of. They gave us an application to complete with documents that they needed to process the application. I completed the application and provided the documents that were requested. We are on a tight time frame that we needed to find a that and I left the office know that. A couple days have passed and we had called to check on our application and they told us that they were still working on it a couple more days pass and we continue to follow up on the application for the continued to tell us that they're working on a co but that we were definitely going to be but that. I called two days before we needed to be moved in to find out whether or not we were finally approved and was told that they needed a copy of my divorce decree from 11 years prior. I explained to them that all of my stuff was in storage I was divorced in another state and didn't even know if I had a copy of it and that's not something I would be able to get over the phone. I ended up finding a copy of it that same day and submitted it to the office yet it still took them until the day I needed to move to tell me that I was fully approved. I came to the office to finalize details and was then informed that the apartment that I originally previewed was not the one that I would be getting. I came to look at the apartment they were assigning to me prior to completing the lease and everything was reversed. I had ordered a brand new sectional couch that now was going to fit awkwardly into the space because I was planning on a reverse floor plan. Not only was that the issue there were tons of other issues and I just started taking pictures with my phone. It took a call to the corp ofc and 2 weeks before anything was rectified w/ at & 6 weeks to get a mailbox key.
San Angeline apartments has a great community with a spacious feel, perfect pool placement and just a mile in every direction to some sort of entertainment, food, and grocery.
I don't live there, but from viewing it on the computer and talking to the office staff, it seems VERY nice.
Nice apartments. Friendly staff.i wante to rent a one bedroom but they said they didn't have any available for July. They get booked fast with the college kids buying apartments to go back to school. If it wasn't for that I would definitely be living here right now. Maybe next year.
