The office and maintenance staffs are absolutely amazing. We have lived here since 2009 and have considered moving on several occasions. The key reason we continued to renew our contract here was our relationship built over the years with the staff. They truly are amazing and makes the overall living experience here hard to leave. I am deeply shock by the gross negligence displayed by the management of San Marino Apartments in addressing the ongoing issue of car break-ins within the premises. Despite numerous reports and complaints from residents, the management has failed to take any meaningful action to increase security measures, leaving the safety of residents in danger. It's outrageous that despite repeated incidents of vehicle theft and vandalism, the management has not invested in adequate security measures such as surveillance cameras, improved lighting, or hiring security personnel to patrol the parking areas. Instead, they have chosen to turn a blind eye to the escalating safety concerns of their tenants. As a resident, I no longer feel safe leaving my vehicle parked in the complex overnight, fearing that it may become the next target of opportunistic criminals. The lack of proactive measures from management not only puts our property at risk but also jeopardizes the well-being of residents who may encounter these criminals in the act. Furthermore, the apathetic response from management when residents voice their concerns is utterly disappointing. Instead of taking accountability and implementing solutions to address the root cause of the problem, they offer empty promises and excuses, demonstrating a blatant disregard for the safety and security of their tenants. In conclusion, I urge potential tenants to think twice before considering San Marino as their place of residence. The management's negligence and indifference towards ensuring the safety of residents make it clear that they prioritize profits over the well-being of those who call this complex home. It's high time for management to step up, take responsibility, and implement effective security measures to prevent further incidents of car break-ins and ensure the safety of all residents.

Do yourself a favor and don't move here! They are infested with cockroaches and act like they have no idea even though every morning as soon as you walkout to go to your vehicle there are dead cockroaches all over the walk way. We moved in Sep 2021 and moved out April 2022 our lease was for only 9 months but we could not handle staying there. We had to have pest control come 3 times because the cockroach problem was so bad in the kitchen I honestly didn't ever want to be home because of it. After all we went through after giving a $600 deposit we only got $37 back. For your own well being and especially if you have children DONT MOVE HERE!

I live in this community for 17 years , I like this community because is peaceful and quite and I feel safe. Is close to shopping center and closer to freeway. It's accessible for everything. And the management are nice and approachable.

I haven't engaged much with the new management team. Previous management and maintenance team were excellent but they have all left the community. Will update on new management and maintenance team with more time passed. Overall, the community is great! We have lived here since 2009.

san marino apartments are THE WORST!!!!! about 3 months after i moved in, the whole building has a severe plumbing issue. i was moved to another unit and was told by valerie "don't even worry about the rent". two months later i come home to an eviction notice on my door. valerie offered me a payment plan so i took it. what she didn't tell me was there is a $100 late fee for every payment. because i didn't know this, those late fees were adding up. i decided enough was enough and broke my lease. valerie told me if they find someone to rent the apartment within my 30 notice, i will NOT be held responsible for the money i "owe". i got a call a few weeks later from valerie saying they found someone and i no longer owe them the money. FIVE MONTHS LATER i get an email from credit karma saying SAN MARINO SENT ME TO COLLECTIONS AND I OWE THEM OVER $3,000!!!! now my credit is ruined. this should be against the law!!

I love the location of my apartment, but the staff is incredibly difficult to work with. They do not and will not answer their phone during business hours. You would think it would be easier to send them an email, but they won't reply. If I don't need to communicate with the staff, this place is tolerable.
