Management at this property is horrendous. Since being taken over by Knightvest, the front office has become even less responsive, and does not take responsibility for any of the issues in the property. Water has been out for multiple days at a time, people have been locked out after hours due to a malfunction on the electric locks, and multiple packages have been stolen on a regular basis. Every single time there is an issue, management claims it is not their problem and is the third party's problem because they have delegated responsibility over every meaningful aspect of the property to a third party service provider, and are unable to help residents. Very difficult to get help during short hours and phone line typically just goes to voicemail. Beware of five star reviews, they are likely paid for by management. There are plenty of newer, cheaper, better maintained apartments nearby. No need to live in a place that is right next to construction for the next few years.
I moved from Ohio to Texas and had no idea where to live. The staff at San Simeon have been gracious and accommodating in our transition to this wonderful city. I am so glad we chose this little community with so many nice neighbors. It made our move so much easier to handle.

Amil 2121 is located in the most ideal area of Montrose. Its not that far at all from grocery stores and tons of food options. Close to very nice bars and lounges for a great night out right down the street. The park across the street makes working out and being active so easy and fun. All in all, Amil 2121 is a great place to call home.
EXCELLENT location!!!! Great amenities, very clean apartments and very quiet. I am very satisfied with and highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to be close to the REAL Houston.

I have lived at the AMLI 2121 for the past 3 years and I love it. The location is perfect, close to the walking and bike trails at bayou park and shopping. We haven't had any issues while living here that would leave a bad impression. The office staff are stellar, always responsive and the friendliest I've ever encountered. I would definitely recommend this community to anyone seeking a great place to live.
I LOVE Amli 2121 the staff and community is amazing!
I do want to say that we moved from another AMLI complex and were excited to stay with AMLI. We needed a two unit apartment and when we walked into our current unit it felt like home. Small improvements and we will be there. I know the pandemic has made it hard to have a better interaction with the tenants.
I have enjoyed living at the AMLI 2121. The property is nicely upkept, the amenities are fun/useful & the staff is polite & responsive.
The apartments and facilities in the complex are amazing compared to other properties in the area. Also, the sense of community is felt from the moving-day.
Going on my third year here love it! Location is prime
The location is great. That's about the only redeeming quality about this community. The unupgraded appliances are TERRIBLE. The dishwasher does not clean the dishes whatsoever and I've had multiple pieces of the microwave fly at me or just fall off. This place looks nice on the outside, but it is not a luxury apartment. I have had a fire ant infestation not once, but twice. Cockroaches are abundant and mold is not hard to find in the bathroom or air conditioner. The maintenance staff is top notch, the leasing staff is not. The leasing office frankly does not care about complaints or issues. This community is overpriced and I would not recommend living here.
Best location is DT Houston Area
We moved in during COVID-19 quarantine in end of May. The management office was great with communication, accommodation and providing all information we needed. Prior moving-in we were able to have a self guided tour of the apartment and the property. The day of moving-in we picked up our keys in a lock box in front of leasing office. We found our way to the new apartment thanks to the marked map we got via email from Brian. Inside the apartment we found all the important information like trash valet, parking stickers and moving in checklist. Also we got some marketing materials (sunglasses, cups and a blanket) which was nice. Apartment itself was clean and ready for us, although we had small maintenance requests like new light bulb or sink blockage removal. In general we like it, however we start noticing that the staircase, hallway and elevators aren't being cleaned regularly. I know we do live close to moving ramp and there are lots of new people moving in and out, but I see the same trash on the floor and dirty footprints in the elevator floor for days or even weeks. Probably because of the lack of cleanliness I wouldn't recommend this apartments to my friends, or renew the lease.

Having been homeowners, we find living at AMLI 2121 as a wonderful alternative and respite from homeowner worries. From access to luxury community amenities to the excellent management and resident/customer service and the convenient location that puts us within easy reach of everything we need, AMLI 2121 suits us very well. Lots of perks living here, from community events for resident appreciation to the direct access to the beautiful park on Allen Parkway. We didn't think we would love apartment living; AMLI 2121 has changed that for us! Just ask our kids!

I'm glad I dragged my husband to view this place and what a find! The layout of our apartment feels like home instead of "just another cube". It is an older development than most of the apartment buildings around so expect to have some pleasant "character" in the finishes. The location is amazing with just minutes to work, school as well as the key points of interests in Houston. There are hundreds of eateries peppered around here and parks for both children and dogs are available within short walking distance. The convenience of groceries store (H-E-B, Krogers and Whole Foods), pharmacies and c'mon - the famous TJ Maxx and Marshall's & Home Goods are just few minutes drive away! Clearly I have issues... Both the management and maintainence team are friendly and they go all the way out to assist you to rectify any concerns which I appreciate. Thank you Amli 2121. For making us part of your family!

AMLI 2121 is a great location and a great complex. It feels like a resort with the aesthetics of the decor and the pool. There's tons of amenities and the floor plans of the rooms open up for more space in the room.
Excellent place to live. Close to downtown and area restaurants, grocery stores and entertainment. Management and staff are efficient and timely to resolve any problem.
AMLI 2121 is like a dream come true for us. We had been talking for a couple of years about moving back into the city from our home of 10 years and AMLI was the perfect fit. They had units large enough to accommodate our family without feeling like we were living in an apartment at all. Everything is so open and bright! Enclosed hallways, garage parking, and plentiful elevators are just some of the things we love about living here. The facilities are gorgeous, well cared for, and there are lots of amenities to suit any personality. The office staff is friendly and helpful, going out of their way to greet us every time we see them and always ready with suggestions for great places to eat, fun things to do with the kids, and all the hot happenings of the area. None of that even speaks to the perfect location of AMLI 2121. We are right across from the Bayou with direct access to incredible dog parks, Eleanor Tinsley Park, live music, walking trails, and all the local events you could ever want. We are less than 2 miles away from any given grocery store/shopping center and there are restaurants galore. They have trash service that picks up at your door every evening, and package service to keep deliveries secure whether youre home to receive them or not. Im sure I am forgetting something else wonderful but we really love it here!

We absolutely love AMLI 2121! The new renovations are incredible and we are so happy with our home. We love the location and the staff, love how close it is to the Bayou. We love our floor plan and access to the patio. It is overall amazing. We feel like we live in a resort. Whenever there is something that needs to be fixed, the apartment takes care of it immediately. They also have a great trash and recycling service. I love that they are committed to sustainability and safety.

My only complaints would be there is little to no cell phone reception in the building (hopefully you have wifi calling) and the parking is tight, but not impossible.
Amli 2121 was our third try with apartment search and it is probably going to be the last apartment we live in before we are ready to purchase a home. Amenities are great, location is a plus and it is very convenient for morning or evening walks around buffalo bayou. You have downtown, the heights and Montrose at a short drive, not to mention easy interstate access when you want to do some long drives. We moved from Guatemala and sometimes it is hard getting to know what areas are nice and fun if you are not from around here. Amli 2121 in Allen Pkwy is where you want to be if you want to enjoy Houston.
AMLI 2121 is a good apartment for those working in or near downtown. The apartments have a good amount of floor space for a reasonable price, and the amenities are adequate for an apartment building of this size. There are a couple drawbacks including parking lot layout and cell phone reception, but these are not deal breakers in my opinion.
Great location, staff, amenities.
It has been a safe and friendly environment for the 3 plus years I have lived here.
Location is ideal. Thats the only good thing about this place. Do not live here.
