Midwest City is a medium-sized suburb located about eight miles east of Downtown Oklahoma City. This planned community sits directly north of Tinker Air Force Base, making it an ideal suburb for military personnel. Most of Midwest City consists of residential neighborhoods holding affordable apartments and single-family homes for rent.
There are many events, celebrations, and places of cultural interest in and around Midwest City. One event is the “Made in Oklahoma Wine, Beer and Food Festival” held annually in May. This event includes a motorcycle show, live music, food, and drinks from local vendors as well as an air show. For military buffs, there is a display of several retired Air Force Fighter Planes located on 29th Street across from the military base. Additional green spaces in town are located along Soldier Creek and provide playgrounds, trails, and picnic facilities.

Property Manager at Sandhill Apartments, Responded To This Review
This is concerning to read and we encourage you to please contact us here in the office at your earliest convenience. We would like to learn more about any pest issues you've encountered so that we can help address them as quickly and as thoroughly as possible. We hope to speak with you soon. Thank you.
Management is very quick at responding to any issues that needs to be assisted with.
It’s a wonderful feeling to live in a community with a great property manager.
I wouldn't live here if I were you. They are mean and they do not care about you as a client but you if you have money. They only give you 1-2 day notice for fees and eviction notices, etc. They take back their promises at lease signing, etc. I do NOT feel safe here anymore.
So about 2 years ago my review was HORRIBLE, BUT THAT WAS ONLY BASED OFF OF THE POOR, SORRY, RIGHT OUT LAZY STAFF!!! The office crew then was very disrespectful. The "MANAGER" (Terri) really had no sense of leadership and she had not 1 business bone in her bone!!!! The maintenance crew at the time was entering apartments without letting the tenants know they were entering!! Which in the case of an emergency thats fine but they had sticky fingers and things would come up missing!!! NOW 2018...... I CAN TRULY SAY THAT THE STAFF/ MAINTENANCE IS VERY CARING, PROFESSIONAL, AND RESPECTFUL.. WHENEVER THERE IS AN ISSUE IT IS ADDRESSED IN A TIMELY FASHION. THE ACTIVITIES THEY HAVE IN THE OFFICE (SNACK & PAINT, PUMPKIN CARVING, PIZZA, AND DONUTS) AND THATS JUST TO NAME A FEW THINGS. ONCE THE NEW STAFF CAME IN THEY HAVE REALLY TURNED AROUND THE COMPLEX!!!
Sand Hills Apts is a great place to live. The office personnel are friendly. Maintenance are quick to fix any problem I may have. The grounds are kept up nice all year around. We have a great security team!Since Bri has come and taken over management, things have really changed for the better. I feel safer and happier. I love it here. I give them 5 stars!!!!
We have lived here for 2 years . Aside from the first week we moved in, things have been wonderful. The managers are really trying hard to make this a nicer , safer living space for families. And it’s obvious! Apartments are the right sized, pest control comes often, kids have plenty of space to play. The managers are really helpful in explaining things to you that you may have questions about.
we and our other neighbors same symptoms== burning eyes, palpitations galore; headache and cough visible signs of Freon leakage (severe) ignored by management at all costs, including Freon tester alarming by tech sent. oil leak under unit (classic Freon leak sign), paint under unit bubbling and softening (solvent Freon) and refills of Freon only lasting weeks before needed again ALL indicate 1969 era unit has severe leakage into apartment. Management at best has employees make up stories; 5 refills this summer yet STILL, needed fan and minimal clothing in house WITH unit on, 80 best temperature obtainable. Pathetic.
