I moved here 4 years ago into apartment that had supposedly been "redone," but I can confidently say that the experience has been less than satisfactory. While I was initially excited about the new finishes, it soon became clear that the renovations were simply a façade, poorly constructed with cheap materials. To start with, if you’re lucky enough to find an apartment with new appliances, consider yourself fortunate. However, even that luck is short-lived. Within weeks of moving in, my stove broke, and I was faced with the daunting reality of waiting a month—if not longer—for a replacement or repair. Who has time to deal with those kinds of delays? In addition to problems with appliances, the overall quality of living is quite below par. The lack of proper insulation means I’m paying more on electricity bills than I do for rent. When winter rolls around, expect to feel the chill as every draft seeps in through the poorly sealed windows and walls. Let’s also talk about the water issues. Leaks seem to be a common plague in this property leading to instances of mold that are concerning at best and hazardous at worst. I’ve found myself without water for nearly 90% of the day—definitely not what you want in your living environment. As for maintenance requests because of the new maintenance staff be prepare to be left hanging. If you need a repair, expect to spend your entire day waiting for someone to show up, only to find that they don’t. It’s a frustrating and time-consuming process that only adds to the overall dissatisfaction with this apartment complex. In summary, while the allure of a "newly renovated" apartment may be tempting, the reality is far from what was promised. From shoddy materials and malfunctioning appliances to inadequate insulation and poor maintenance, this has been a lesson in expectations versus reality. Proceed with caution if you’re considering moving here; you might want to look elsewhere for a more reliable living situation. And if your still not convinced please come speak to some of the tenants that live here, before signing any lease
Rent is cheaper than other places. The management company doesn't care at all about anything but rent, they would rather evict you than remedy problems. There is mold, mice, bugs, and maintenance requests never get fixed. Even if maintenance does come, it's not professional quality and they blame the residents for all the problems. This guy hates having tenants and doesn't want to hear a peep even for legitimate issues.
Management is terrible and the apartments are low quality. Even if you are "lucky" enough to be offered a newly renovated apartment, just know that there is absolutely no soundproofing added to the floors/ceilings, meaning you can hear everything your upstairs and downstairs neighbors say and do. Management also only consists of one person (you'll know who she is if you inquire about this place) and she is extremely forgetful and unhelpful the majority of the time. And don't expect her to take responsibility when she messes up- she always has an excuse, or will put the blame on you. I could go on and on about how much I hated this place, but my main advice is just to steer clear. It's not worth the aggravation.
The headline says it all. Landlord refused to remedy the mold and even tried blaming me for it. Old dirty carpet was never replaced before move in.When i told her i wanted it replaced,she said she would do it,never did,then tried to tell me that i told her i didnt want it replaced.
