The Red River, golf courses, and parks make the city worthwhile for sure. When Moorhead residents are out and about, you’ll likely find them out to dinner on 8th Street. The Rourke Art Gallery and Museum offers a lot of culture, from paintings to sculptures and everything in between.

Property Ratings at Sandy Creek
This is the worst apartment I have ever lived in. Management do not care about keeping the building cleaned. The residents litter the staircase and hallways always. Dog poop at the entrance of the building. The management is ready to rip you off to keep your security deposit when you decide to vacate the apartment. I won't recommend living here at all.
Great location nice building but unfriendly residents.
Not as great as it used to be. Dirty inside & out. Garages get broken into, doors get propped open all the time.
I love the overall feel of this apartment. Feels modern and cozy. And it is reasonably priced! Staff is very friendly and always willing to help when they can.
The place has become very dirty and loud. Almost every single apartment has a dog (which I'm sure a good majority of them aren't allowed) So there's constant barking at all times of the day. Dogs pee on the balcony, leaking through to balconies below. There is ALWAYS trash outside, on the floors, in the mailbox entry way. There's always an icky smell in the hallways. Nothing is ever done about complaints. The place used to be great, but has really gone down hill.
When I first moved in, everything was great. It was a very neat, clean, "home" feeling place. In the past two years, everything has gone downhill. The hallways and outside/parking lot are always trashed with garbage, stains, and odors. My garage had an attempt of break in. Neighbors are extremely loud, and there are dogs everywhere! Dogs that bark constantly, all day and all night. Dog poop everywhere. It just isn't what it used to be!
Apartments are nice, building staff are nice and always address concerns. Hallways are filthy tho, people who live in the building dont seem to care to Keep them clean. People are generally quiet tho.
Sandy creek is a nice place to live. Its in a nice neighborhood with a nice park right across the street.
Wish staff was more organized and communicated with tenants more. Have been waiting since we moved in in June for a door that has to be replaced that was supposed to take a month to come in and its still not here (end of sept). Everything that said will be fixed, hasnt. Have already called 3 times about the same problems each time saying they will be handled and they werent.
A quiet place in a Family friendly neighborhood.
It is an excellent place with great staff!
Pretty decent place. Looks and feels new. The walls and ceilings are extremely easy to hear through- which can sometimes be a nuisance during sleep.
Good place to live. Fast application approval. An love having a washer & Dryer inside the apartment.
I have never heard so much banging around in any building ever. The floors are a cheap fake wood, that makes the entire place into one big drum set! If the people above or below you have kids or anything, good luck.... it's like being in a earthquake! Constant banging and running around walls shaking. Avoid this cheaply built crap hole if you can.
I've lived in Sandy Creek for a year now and despite a change in management and rent going up a little it's been a really great place to live. You're a ten minute drive from downtown Fargo while still being in a quiet residential area, and a grocery store is right down the road. It's a developing area so there is some consctruction, but it's still quiet which is nice. The only downside would be that it's two blocks from the train tracks but I tuned it out after the first two weeks. It's a newer building so everything is up to date, the management is friendly, and the neighbors are nice. It's been a great place to spend my first year in a new town.
