Property Ratings at Santa Rosa
clean property but they're asking 3 times the rent, and a co signer that owns a home and that they make 5 times the rent, and that ive been at my job for more than a year. sorry that I got laid off from the coronavirus maybe i should have stayed on unemployment place is asking for to much of bakersfield, and 3 times the rent if i made 3000 a month i wouldn't be renting from east side
They are VERY spacious and well-priced for the space. I was approved quickly. The only negative after the approval process was having to move back my move-in date a couple of times because they said the people living in the apartment weren't turning in the keys. That, I cannot really fault them for. I don't agree on the review that there are termites throughout the complex. I lived here from 2009-2012 and never had issues with any insects, termites, rodents, etc. I've also lived here from 2014 to the present and never had this issue. One issue I have had is the dishwasher coming out from the wall and no one has fixed it, even though it has been reported. Aside from that, no real issues and I would recommend the place overall.
I lived here for an entire year and from day 1 we had issues. First 2 days my door was kicked in. Week after that a man with a gun ran through the complex. Then my carpets that weren't replaced started showing thick black stains, then the manager came with an armed guard to the door in search of a pitbull, I have cats, then my dishwasher fell out of the wall, never was fixed. My ceiling was flooded and caused water damage and mold to the carpets, that too was never fixed. Last the entire complex has termites chewing on anything that has wood. Worst place possible to ever live!
We had to move quickly since our previous landlord was selling the house we were living in. We don't have great credit due to medical issues and was having a hard time getting a good place to live. They were more than willing to rent to us. The neighbors are quiet for the most part and best of all, it is only a mile from my job! They allow pets, so we were able to take our cats. The place is huge. Almost as big as the 3 bedroom house we were renting. The management is great too. We have been here since April and we love it!
My boyfriend and I moved in here about two months ago and absolutely love it so far. It's pet friendly, the landlady and maintenance guy are helpful and kind, and the tenants keep to themselves. The rent is reasonable and the two bedroom is pretty spacious. The ground itself is kept very neat and you almost forget you're in Bakersfield. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because the location. The apartments across the street are very run down and the police are often there - it's a little shady. But in all the Santa Rosa apartments are great and I would highly recommend them.
