Property Ratings at Santana Ridge
I have been moved out from SR for 6 months now and they refuse to mail out my deposit. They are very money-hungry and completely disorganized. Many functions of the unit were inoperable (the dishwasher remained broken after several work orders, the shower in the master bedroom NEVER had hot water). They also have roaches. The cheaper prices really don’t accommodate for the massive headaches and vulnerability you have with living here. My car was also broken into and the management really did not care to respond at all. Save yourself the trouble and do not waste your time or money here.

Decided to not sign a lease and the company will not refund me the money I put down on the apartment. Stay away shady business.

However, our deposit policy is clearly stated during the application process and applicants are required to sign, and agree, to these terms. If you feel this policy was not clearly communicated please contact the leasing office for a review of your application.
This is the grossest, most disgusting place I have ever lived. Don’t put yourself through the hassle of dealing with the incompetent staff. Find anything else. Even if you were desperate like I was, this place isn’t the answer. It’s way more trouble than they’re worth.

I figured this review would be more beneficial from someone actually CURRENTLY living at Santana Ridge. I am an honest person and try not to make things seem better or worse than they really are! That saying "You get what you pay for" stands true for this establishment. While the rent isn't bad, you definitely don't get comfort for the price. I moved here for a job rather quickly and didn't have time to physically view apartments in person. I ended up here at Santana Ridge. While I will say that my stay here hasn't been totally bad, for the most part, it also hasn't been very pleasant either. Good things about Santana Ridge: -Friendly Staff -No signs of bugs (in my apartment) <--- I am a very clean person, so this may skew this. I cannot vouch for anyone else here. -Reasonable Rent Rates -Location is pretty nice with the close proximity to shopping and the necessities. Bad things about Santana Ridge: -Slow (VERY SLOW) maintanance -No central AC (I am very displeased with this one because when you see the website, it states "Air Conditioning". While this is true, is is definitely not Central. It's a wall unit directly behind your door that causes two issues: 1. difficulty getting larger furniture inside the apartment 2. Being next to the door gives more opportunity for air to escape right out the front door before ever having the chance to cool off your apartment -No Towing for people who park cars in your assigned spot. I have had people park in my spot numerous times and the only response I have gotten from the office is "Find out who it is and tell them" -very outdated apartments Let's just say that I plan on moving once my lease is up. I would rather pay more to live in better conditions than to live here. While Santana Ridge is a good place if you are really on a budget or just need somewhere to live quickly, it's not by any means a long term apartment home situation. Good luck!
This is a horrible place to live the floor is fake wood, the vathrooms have a permanent nasty smell in them the shower head comes out of the wall and the rooms carpets are very dirty and old. The worst thing about this place is when i first moved here almost TWO years ago there was mold all over the wall of the master bedroom, (which was making me sick and resorted to me sleeping in the living room for quite a while) time after time i told the leasing office as well as maintenance to come and fix the wall as well as clean it, after all these months from 2015 to 2017 they finally came but ended up just making it worse by taking a chunk of wall off that didnt even have the mold on it, leaving a dirty huge humidifier in the room with a hose going to my PERSONAL bathroom sink. they expected me to sleep with the humidifer over night and refused to get someone to come turn it off for me. to make all matters worse bugs like spiders and moths have been coming through the wall because they have left it open for FIVE days not returning any of my calls and not answering too. this is the fifth day the the wall has been left open and the mold is still there. terrible place that needs to be shut down
I am in the same boat as the other review. They do not tell you that you have to come fill out a form if you want to move out. If you don't do it, they automatically renew your lease for you. Even if you don't sign anything. It is a crazy policy, and hopefully they will change it, or be more clear about it, so this doesn't happen to anyone in the future. The staff could have handled it so much better. They seemed like they didn't really want to help. They need some customer service training.

This apartment complex is unclear about their move out policies upon signing the lease, so be careful. We were told that we need to give 60 days notice if we need to terminate our lease. Apparently, this means if you want to move out too. We stayed until the end of our lease term, which means we did not terminate our lease, but since we did not tell them that our lease was ending in 60 days we now have to pay an extra 2 months here. Nobody at the leasing office was understanding or tried to help. They did not notify us when this 60 day mark approached, nor did they reach out to us before renewing our lease. I am not sure why they did not tell me about giving a written notice before our lease ends when I called and asked about what I need to do for move out. The manager kept telling me that it is my job to understand the lease when really, it is on the staff to help you realize these important things. The wording in the lease is not clear, so it feels like a trick to get your to pay more. Either way, I will never rent here again because I do not trust the leasing staff. They ignore you and hope you just stop bugging them. Very unprofessional.

I moved into this apartment over a year ago, and it has been a true blessing. It isn't the best looking apartment in the city and it isn't the worst looking apartment in the city. It is pretty nice though. The people who work in the office are very friendly and remember you by your name always so willing to help and so good to the tenants. I always recommend this to people because they have so much to offer. It is in a quiet area, they clean up everyday. I have a 1 bedroom with washer and dryers, fireplace, balcony, air & heat, dishwasher and car port. There is a gym, swimming pools, tennis court etc. I love to wake up and know that I am in a safe area. I love that when something breaks down the maintenance come and fix it and if they have to come back because they have to order something they don't forget. When I first moved here I was unsure of what to think being new to the Denver area, but I feel so safe and I am so comfortable it makes me not want to move anywhere else. I have luxury apartments across from me and they still don't give the type of service that the team at Santana Ridge gives. I would recommend them to anyone if someone asked me where would be a good place to live.
We were relocated to Denver from AL 2.5 years ago and had less than a month to move out here which meant we didn't get to come visit to find a place and were stuck finding a place online. While The Santana Ridge Apartments aren't awful, they aren't great either. We are staying for our third year simply out of the fact that we hate moving and it's a convenient location. The positives: the grounds are kept nice, they salt/shovel during snowy winter months, covered parking, we have a washer & dryer in unit, maintenance has always been prompt when needed. The negatives: awful neighbors, management won't take any complaints/concerns involving neighbors - they just instruct you to call police, maintenance staff is rude, expensive for what it is (outdated appliances, paint, carpet). This will be our last year in this apartment simply bc we do not want to pay what we're paying any more -
This is my second time living at this location. First time with this particular property manager. Overall, the staff are friendly, if a little slow in correcting issues. I've waited over a month for them to replace the screen in my master bedroom. An older facility, the amenities are adequate. The "air conditioning" in the units are inadequate at best.
