Proud of its historic moniker “The Immigrant City,” Lawrence has long been one of the most diverse communities in Massachusetts. Dozens of city parks offer plenty of space for outdoor activities, and the 3.5-mile Spicket River Greenway gives folks a scenic route for walking, running, and biking through several riverfront parks and neighborhoods.
Lawrence is also known for being the hometown of great American poet Robert Frost, and the Robert Frost Foundation works tirelessly to promote his legacy in the local school system. Lawrence’s position near I-93 puts Boston less than an hour’s drive away from your apartment. MBTA service also connects Lawrence to Boston by rail.

Property Ratings at Saunders Crossing
The leasing agent was very unprofessional and unable to maintain her composure. Not able to be flexible and needs to get her facts straight. If you are dealing with a customer and his wife wants to find the right time to go along on the tour, you better be tactful and deal with it. Otherwise, why choose this profession?
Please run now. Keep scrolling and searching somewhere else. Management just simply suck and act like is a privilege living in this rat infestation which smells like weed 24/7. They receive your packages at the main office and when you going to pick it up the Assistant manager acts like you are asking him for a favor. Such a rude annoying dude.
This place is so great. Constantly cleaning, constant maintenance team stopping through to fix any issues you have. There is a pool and workout area. Pool has a constant pool monitor so you do not need to worry about kids acting up. Everything but electric and cable/internet is included. The A.C cools down the whole home no issues. Dishwasher and garbage disposal which has been a life saver!! Packages are delivered to the office so no chance for any theft with those. It is nothing like the city. It's like its own little area! You can walk around and not worry about anything. Neighbors for the most part are pretty friendly. Never any drama and issues are solved fast. A lot of these negative reviews are from before the management changed. I took a gamble coming to this place and I am so glad I did! The only downfall is the mice. Which is common at many places in Lawrence. When I submitted a work order for it, they told me to let them know if problem persists and they will check every apartment in this building to ensure the issue is resolved. My four year old son absolutely LOVES it here!
I've been living at Saunders Crossing for 2 years now and I love the community.I've had a great experience & the staff are amazing and always willing to help.
I moved here after finishing my military enlistment and had a really bad experience. I was happier leaving and paying the fee than staying here any longer... - Maintenance workers would constantly come in and do repairs while I was out, w/o any notice. - My car was broken into while parked right in front of the Property Management Office. - The hallways smelled horrible. - The previous reviewer may have confused rat noises with birds chirping. - People really do get their tires stolen on their property. Property Managers have done nothing to stop this.
I wish I could put no stars for this place. I have been living at this apartment with my wife for three years now. Since we have moved in, cars outside our apartment have been broken into no less than a dozen times, at least three separate occasions, tires have been stolen off of peoples cars. There has been an on going mouse infestation in the apartment buildings, the buildings most affected by this are the ones closes to the trash compactor. The trash compactor was a huge undertaking by the property and they got rid of the huge trash bins that littered the property and overflowed regularly, now instead the trash compactor overflows and is not tended to on the weekends and builds into wreaking heaps that overflows out of the fenced in area. This results in rats, skunks, and mice tearing through there every night. The guys that work maintenance are great and will come to help, but the exterminator comes only once a week, doesn't put down sufficient enough traps or poison to make a significant difference in the frequency of mice appearing. The exterminator will give you a half dozen traps, but that is clearly not enough. If you are considering renting an apartment here, be ready for an awful experience. The leasing office is not supportive of your apartments problems and your rent will climb every year.
I have lived here for a 1yr 2 months , i can say i am at peace it is a quiet area. i love that i can put up my shades in the morning and see trees a blue sky, i can hear birds outside. I like my home im trying to make it better by saveing some money and buying new furniture. i am at peace and hope to live here many more years.
