Support staff in office is great and always helpful. Maintenance folks are very responsive too! Treadmills in gym are not great, they are usually out of service or not working correctly. Never had a problem with any neighbors and it’s very quiet!

Appliances are old especially the dryer and dish washer they are probably 15 to 20 years old for a luxury apartment need better appliances and dryer makes horrible noises when it's on and takes forever to dry clothes Neighbors above are very noisy especially during the night after 11 sometimes it hard to get to sleep with the noise

I love this apartment complex! I have lived here now for 6 years and I can't imagine moving! I even downsized to a 1 bedroom apartment and I still have 925 square feet of space! I love the management and maintenance here! The grounds are well maintained, and the noise level is little to none. I feel safe and am happy to be living here!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The apartment has everything that me and my kids need. The layout is perfect for us. The amenities are exactly what we need and more. The only downside so far is that it takes quite a while to get things fixed.

When moving to KC, The staff, especially Rene, helped me find an apartment here at Savoy, in an emergency situation. The first community I was supposed to live at contacted me the day before I was to drive here and pick up the the keys and after I had been told I was approved, that they were going to have to revoke my application, no reason given just sorry. I contacted Rene and she had me approved and leases signed in no time at all. Saved my move and my sanity over the move. Thanks to the office staff here, you ladies are the greatest.

The front management seems to play by their own rules. They will threaten to evict you for any little thing, and even try to take away your amenities privileges whenever they please. Although, when you need maintenance or other help from them, they seem to be non existent. We had our AC go out in the middle of the summer when it was over 100 degrees consistently, and it took almost a week to fix. My neighbors washing machine didn’t work for over a month. Their excuse is that they are backed up on maintenance tickets. Maybe hire more people if that’s the case. Overall, I would avoid this place and choose somewhere close by, because the location is great. Everything else with this apartment complex is terrible.

I like the layout. It’s quiet and peaceful here. The appliances are terrible. The management uses deceptive policies to get as much money out of you as they can. After my initial lease was up I wanted to go on a month-to-month plan but they didn’t tell me it would go up 40%!! I had to sign another year lease and my rent still went up $150/month. When I signed my first lease I was told it wouldn’t go up more than$25. Clearly a lie.

Savoy Apartment's whole leasing process is unethical. They only give you 24 hours after being pressured to sign a lease, to decide, then they kept my deposit on an apartment I'm not even renting! Savoy Apartments are deceitful and I will warn everyone I know of their underhanded process. Shame on you, Madison!

The staff is incompetent. I had submitted renters insurance. Instead of processing my renters insurance, they lost it. They then started charging me extra for not having renters insurance. I submitted my renters insurance again. They are not willing to take off the extra charges. I would not rent from this apartment complex or from Ashley. Especially from Ashley.

All in all, I would not recommend renting from the SAVOY unless you have the chance to see your apartment ahead of time before signing the lease. Know what you are getting into. I'm writing this to warn others of apartment #712, as well as recommending to see the apartment you will be renting before signing the lease. We also have emails with the SAVOY and pictures of the apartment that corroborate our story as described below. We arrived at 5:25pm, July 1st with our U-Haul full of our belongings and received the keys for apartment #712. Madison welcomed us and told us she had just walked the apartment an hour prior. We drove to the apartment. We opened the door and walked inside. The conditions of the apartment were rundown and the opposite of the model we were shown. We expected a little wear and tear but this apartment needs complete renovation. The poor conditions included: the multiple broken tiles in the master bathroom, dirty windows, broken/peeling ceiling, every appliance was slanting, the dishwasher could be pulled out of the island, the island sides were caving in/detaching from the countertop, paint was peeling off the cabinets, the flooring was bubbling up about every 3 feet, there was missing flooring in the kitchen, extremely dirty air vents and the leaking appliance unit with a puddle of water pooling in the closet. The garage also had a license plate left in it on the floor as well as lots of trash. It is clear that cleaning was not a priority. The porch was slanting and is unsafe. We immediately went back to the office (right before they closed at 6pm) and asked Madison to come walk it with us to show her why we could not stay in that apartment, especially with our young child. She agreed and walked around with us and took pictures of the conditions. We did also. Madison told us that she would reach out to the manager and let her know the situation. We were now homeless. We went back the next day and spoke with Madison again on Sat. July 2nd at 1045am. She let us know that we would be receiving a call on Tuesday, July 6th about a forwarding address for a full refund for the apartment payment within 2-3 weeks. She also confirmed they would cancel our lease. We are grateful for the refund however, we ended up spending over a thousand dollars on hotels/Airbnbs rather than just moving into an apartment with livable conditions that we already paid for and agreed to with the apartment company.

We were happy to find a place with 3 baths and a 2 car garage for a decent price. Shortly after move in we realized things were not as nice as they seemed. The AC never worked as we reported to Savoy right when we moved in. They told us it worked fine after having a person come over and stick a probe in the vent and measuring the temp. It was not working fine, it ran nonstop for about a week trying to keep up and then died on a Thursday. Savoy did not respond to maintenance request until 9:30pm on Thursday evening when an employee walked into our apartment unannounced with a small window unit for our three bedroom apartment. Then we were told they could not get a part in town so we had to get it shipped in. We did not get a working AC until the next Wednesday Aug 25th Its mid November and the fixed AC unit outside still has not been put back together and there is parts and trash laying around form the Ac fix that took 6 days to complete. It was often well into the 90's inside our apt.. We purchased our own AC window unit to make it tolerable in one bedroom to sleep. Savoy offered little help, often ignoring us when trying to find out why we still had no AC and nothing was being done. I wish this was my only issue with this place. Its just the beginning. We have had multiple leaks for our fridge, requests to maintenance ignored, again. We have a window that falls out of the wall with a windy day, Our hot water heater needed an emergency replacement one day which means for at least the third time they have entered our unit without telling us. When they replaced that they took out the central vacuum unit in utility closet and left it on our bedroom floor. Never reinstalled it. The fridge is still broken. The dishwasher is installed incorrectly so it sticks out and bottom rack does not stay in dishwasher if open. Tile in main bathroom moves when you walk on it. I could go on and on. It never ends and when we do have the patience to ask for something fixed it's not worth it. I have rented in KC my entire adult life and I'm 46. From management to the total disrepair of the unit this is by far the worse experience Ive had renting. Look somewhere else

Been living at Savoy for several years and generally pleased with the service. The property got new ownership and management and since then the level of service has been abysmal. No one is responsive in the client portal, service request tickets have sat for 2+ weeks before addressing, have had multiple messages go unresponded to. If I am paying for a luxury apartment I should expect luxury management staff.

Since moving in to this complex it has been a nightmare. Office workers are rude, maintenance doesn’t do it’s job, there is barely any communication without incessant calling or complaining. None of the facilities have been open since moving in and it feels like a waste of money.

We have lived at Savoy for almost 10 years , my parents also lived here for a very long time. Properties have great square footage, great parking , feels very safe . maintenance is awesome , very professional, fast response. Leasing office has always been helpful and kind. I love living here, just wish when people renew and want to stay they give a discount or special. Overall Savoy is a great community and is very safe! It is a great starter apartment, great for couples or wonderful for families, I would definitely recommend to anyone
