The building is well maintained. Staff are easily available and all of them are good people. My apartment is a sanctuary ! I love living here.
Its a nice clean modern building with nice modern floor to ceiling apartments with great views. Amenities are useful and alot of place in the neighborhood, like coffee shops and restaurants
Management and staff are fantastic. The building is kept clean. Unfortunately many of the residents are rowdy and inconsiderate without any consequences.
Honestly I have felt nothing but welcome here. Staff is kind and so are the people who live here. It's so close to the train and an ice cream shop nearby.
hallways could use cleaning more often and front gate is not monitored when desk man/woman is on break, otherwise amazing amenities! I feel right at home

I have 3 years living here my first year was amazing but the next 2 years I notice that everything is going worse and worse, one of the main thing I pick this building was the no smokers building but they do it in every single area including all amenities, there was a bathroom next to the laundry now is not working because nobody can handle the bad neighbors, so the high cost of living suppose to be in good condition when I try to play pool there’s no ball the arcade is not working, the barbecue is dirty nobody follow the rules anymore, I hope something change in the next days .

The concept is very nice to be in q luxury building but it’s lacking certain things to make it feel worth the money. No security or doorman, amenities are broken and bathrooms are locked around the floor due to people breaking in. Should feel more secure.

In the year 2020 to mid 2022 management addressed tenants needs promptly. The cleaning staff did a fairly good job of keeping the elevators, lounge and gym clean. For whatever reason (not given), No cleaning staff. Also concierge services is now reduced, for unsatisfactory reasons. Changes made before substitute replacements are in effect.

Aside from the need for better security, Sawyer Place is a cool place to live. I love the modern concepts, the appliances, the lounges, the lobbies, the gym, the theater, the social events. In the Spring, perhaps more flowers and plants in the bare spaces in the courtyard. Although it's located in the not-so-nice downtown area, the location is so convenient, the post office, the banks, the supermarket, the pharmacy, the restaurants, the DMV, the Metro-North/Amtrak station, the river, the concerts. I can't wait until Lionsgate starts to rev up! The parking garage situation can be a little chaotic at times, especially when you order your car, sometimes they don't know where your car is, but the valets do the best they can under somewhat trying circumstances. I know it's not within your purview, but the monthly fee is quite high. I know this is a no-can-do, but a ramp from the garage on the building A side, would be great.

My partner and I moved here for our first home and we love it here. The space and cleanliness provided are great! The service provided by the leasing office is very welcoming and nice. The gym is awesome and clean. We love the events that the staff come up with as well! Its been great honestly and we’re happy we chose Sawyers as our first home!

Building is very nicely maintained, no significant problems with the apt it self. Gym is very well equipped, and its a very inviting space to workout. Outside common space is very nice for having friends for grilling and socializing. Management is nice, and maintenance guys are fast in resolving any issues. Great experience, after being the resident for 3 months ..

Sawyer place is a nice place to live. The view is stunning and the environment is very nurturing. The staff is at your beck and call looking to please you with whatever help you may need which is a plus.

My experience at Sawyer Place has been outstanding. The leasing process was very easy and the staff are very professional and great at what they do. The building itself is awesome with access to lounges and the gym. The immediate area is nice right by the hudson river. The apartments are really nice, quiet and comfortable to be in as well.
I really love living here! Excellent apartment & amenities, beautiful view..staff is great & helpful! Glad to call Sawyer Place my home!

This building deserves ZERO STARS. I moved out two months ago due to the insane level of unprofessionalism I experienced with management with this building, and I am still dealing with them. *WARNING* never expect your full security deposit back. They take at least $300 of it without warning or discretion just to have your unit cleaned after you move out. I thoroughly cleaned our unit before moving out and was still charged this fee. Side note, I had a cleaning company come in while we lived there, meaning we had rugs and actual furniture to clean around and was charged $120. Not sure what kind of cleaning company Sawyer Places uses that costs $300 to clean an empty, already clean, one bedroom apartment, but this is the least of my concern at this point. The refund check that they sent us for the remaining $100 has bounced three times. They refuse to respond to my emails until I write them over and over again saying my next step is to come in person to the office. They never reimbursed us for the fees our bank charged us due to their $100 check bouncing. Back to my actual experience living at Sawyer place. The neighbors are unbelievably rude, loud, disrespectful, and inconsiderate. We had to move from one unit to another due to rude neighbors who would blast music all day and night, and then threatened us after trying to address it with them. We were lucky enough to move from a unit with one loud neighbor, to a unit with three loud neighbors who would take turns blasting their music (and I mean BLASTING their music to the point our walls and floor would vibrate), and smoking cigarettes and weed. Management was NO help either. They would actually tell us to call the police instead of even try to address the problem. So you probably shouldn’t think about living here unless you want to relive your college days, never sleep, and chase Management for 100 bucks months after leaving.

great for a first apartment if you don't have a lot of stuff. very little storage space. small drawers. no medicine cabinet. small closet.
