My experience here is great. We have lots of food trucks in the summer time lol and the food is great. Overall I would rate Scandia apartments 9/10
Apartment itself is spacious and cozy, however you can hear every single thing from your neighbors. You can hear cars from 465, also. Office staff really doesn’t care to help with anything to try to be nice, and notices seem to never be sent out in time.
Apartments are very nice and comfortable. I would recommend these apartments to anyone like I have already done. Great staff here and they get stuff done. The only issue has been with how they deal with the trash. I wish it was better taken care of. But I do appreciate all that you guys have done. Thank you!

Very nice community. Office and maintenance staff are amazing. Office accepts and hold packages so they won't be left in hallways by your doors while you are not home. Maintenance respond to work orders in a timely manner. Overall experience has been great.

Parking is sometimes a hassle but other than that neighbors and staff are very friendly! I love that the neighborhood is clean and the amenities are a plus as well.

Community struggles with trash issues. Emergency maintenance was not urgent at all, could not provide any sort of time-line about when they would be out and then had to ask again two days later to get someone scheduled. Other than that, the residents are fine and there have been no other issues. Apartments themselves are good.

Overall my experience here has been good but crime has picked up a little which is sad to see. Trash is always a problem but not much can be done about that.

Lighting is terrible on the FJORD DR side . Both of my cars have been broken in to along with broken windows. I believe because there is NO Lighting in the carport or on this side of the apartments it gives thieves PLENTY of opportunity to break in. Scandia associates are always so eager to take a work order report but do nothing about it The lighting in my car port has a bird nest sitting on it since EARLY this year and the light is out but the bird nest is still there . I am aware that some light post are Scandia and some are owned by the city but Scandia lights and some of the other ones are OUT. FIX the lights , it get dark early now however the sun doesn’t come up till after 7 am which is very dangerous and gives me a sense of negligence as well no sense of protection for your tenants. Scandia fix the lights PLEASE
Easy process, CeCe was amazing. A couple of things were wrong with my apartment on move in day, nothing super major. The essential things work and I’m thankful. Love the penthouse and the space, staff is very friendly.
I’m completely satisfied living at Scandia Apartments, it’s quiet, repairs are completed in a timely manner I’m going on my fourth year. I’m concerned theirs no handicap parking, it’s my understanding it’s the Law!
Has gotten better since I’ve first moved in. Maintenance is ok. And the neighbors are really chill never had a problem. Overall a decent experience
The apartment overall was nice. The maintenance staff were hit and miss, but overall I had a good experience. My problems began with the office staff. I was forced to extend my lease a handleful of months, due to personal reasons, and informed the staff very specifically when I would be moving out. Apparently this was ignored, as when I tried to speak to the office about my coming move i was informed I had not told them I was leaving and it would be 2.4k to "break my lease". This is despite the fact I informed them 5 months ago exactly when I would be leaving. A fair warning to people who are interested in this property. Absolutely do not trust the office staff, and do not go on month to month under any circumstances. Very very bad experience straining finances for people who are already struggling
Amazing apartment and community! Our new place is very lovely and comfortable! Comes with so many amenities and great facilities to use, will definitely be staying here longer!
I love my apartment..it is so spacious. Neighbors are kind, quiet area, and valet service is definitely a plus. I feel comfortable walking to explore the community and so happy there is a fitness area.
the move in process was smooth, and the apartment was clean before i moved my things in. my only complaint is the blinds not fixed right away, but i trust that it will be done as soon as i submit my move in checklist.
The main complaint that I have about living here is that whenever you put in a service request, it takes them forever to get out. I have had an ongoing issue with my A/C.
My experience here has been cool. Maintenance works pretty fast. Office is understanding and works fasts too. Only complaint is the walls are too thin
The apartment itself is quite nice. Maintenance does get around but not always right away. There isn't too much noise and management is good at communicating what's happening in the community
I’d say I had a great move in experience. The only thing I was hit with is the dirty hall ways and the basic kitchen with limited cabinets. Over all huge apartment and the ladies and the office have been nice.

Scandia isnt terrible for the price. However, trash is always an issue, even with the trash cans provided with door pickup. You can always hear your neighbors and traffic. But the apartment is big and there’s a lot of light
To be honest, the new management with TJ and her team has been amazing. Work orders are now being completed in a timely matter and the property is well maintained. Good work ladies and gentlemen.
Apartment was clean and move in ready. Perfect and convenient location. No issues with appliances, electric, or AC. Trash pickup is super convenient.
Maintenance needs to be more prompt. The new management has made drastic changes with cleaning the community. Newer appliances would be nice but overall a quiet community .
very nice place to live and maintanice is good and fast.The outside light does not work in front of the building.Needs more dog waste baskets and needs work on the landscape and the outsiode of the buildings need paint and needs some work
It’s been good. Only small things have been annoying, but that’s how it is anywhere. For example our fridge light is out and we told them but they haven’t helped in about a month. Other than that it’s been good.
Well thus far, It's been a month already, and they still need to respond quickly to service requests and maintenance concerns. It takes nearly a week to handle a service order. The lobby area requires thorough cleaning.
Very friendly office staff. The community is kept clean and free of debris. Neighbors are very nice. The overall expeeience of living here is great. Highly recommend
After 2 years of living in Scandia here are my thoughts: The unit itself is fine as long as there's nothing broken and staying inside then everything is perfect. Once you step outside that's where the issues come in. Maintenance is still meh and it takes months for them to fix non-urgent issues, also they might disagree with you on what is urgent vs non-urgent. The hallways always smells like weed. The patio/balcony areas are infested with bees/hornets and they are strict on what things you can place outside. Trash compactor areas are always a mess. People litter around the place and still nothing is done. Common areas are a joke. We have pickleball/tennis court, a newly built picnic gazebos with no roof and some cornholes, and a basketball hoop installed in the middle of the parking lot in front of a trash compactor. With all the perks above they also raise your rent every time you renew your lease despite nothing being done. Yeah so if you rent here just stay inside then it's fine.
I moved here in January 2024 and I can honestly say I have NO COMPLAINTS!!! I’m very picky about where I live and this experience has been everything I imagined and more!!!
Third year living here. It's a good place to live. Conveniently located. Spacious apartments. Great scenery of woods and the river. Tennis court and pool are fun. Food trucks come on weekends which is nice. Only complaints I have are that maintenance can take too long to address issues, and the office made us sign our renewal 4 months in advance this year, so I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone whose situation may change quickly. Have some awful neighbors, but that's beyond anyone's control. Nothing major.

Maintenance isn’t the best. But the office people are nice when I go in. Something is always either broken or not working. Rent is too high for these problems to keep occurring.
Loved here a long time. Really like it. The new management is finally making well needed improvements. I like what I am seeing. The communication has been much better too!
I used to love living here it was quiet and never a problem with the apartment. I first moved in 2020. Over the last 4 years it has went down hill immensely. I have for the past 6 weeks had a constant water leak problem, every time i have reported it the ticket is closed before the problem is resolved. The quality of the neighbors has decreased. There are multiple people who will smoke pot in the hallway or common areas of the complex. There is loud music playing until 2 or 3 am. Then there is also the fifth from the trash that is just piled up in common areas. They have a valet trash service that does not always pick up the trash, if a bag rips or leaks they just leave it for weeks. Overall I would live anywhere else now.

I lived for more than 6 years! I never had a problem with anything. only the air conditioning but they solved it. Excellent place. excellent service in the office and the place is close to the shopping center
Office personnel have been responsive. Unfortunately, apartments are just too old. Even updated apartments feel old, dirty, partially done.
Ok place to live. Staff could be more helpful and friendly. Walls are very thin, you can hear everything in other apartments. Close to popular restaurants and the mall.

9 year resident, love my apartment home in scandia and the square footage!! Dislike the lack of building upkeep such as our gutters not guttering (current situation) due to overflow of leaves. Gutter clean outs needed. Dislike the lack of preventative maintenance such as Dryer Vent cleanouts/replacing broken dryer vents & cages around property where birds have entered and are nesting - dryer vents are a top cause of apartment home fires.
Where do we start, there’s constantly trash all around the property and improperly dumped at the trash compactor along with furniture and other things not supposed to be there. Neighbors have 0 respect for “quiet hours” and at least my building constantly smells like cigarettes even thought they’re supposed to be non smoking. They make you pay for valet trash service which sounds nice until they come after 10:30pm blasting music on a Bluetooth speaker and slamming trash cans around and stomping up and down stairs. Oh and a cherry on top they’ll raise your rent a minimum of $75 every year but the condition of the buildings and grounds never improves! I really regret resigning my lease and not looking for other options I highly recommend no one and I mean NO ONE moves here.
The unit is great! There's plenty of space, I feel secure, the other residence all have been nice, the only reason it's not 5 stars is that some areas on the property look a little bit unmaintained.
Very friendly people that work in the office and friendly groundmen. My apartment is quiet because it's located in the back near the river. Looking forward to using the pool this summer.

Never ever step your foot in this place. I think these Scandia apartments need to be taken off the list on any website. There is always trash everywhere and no one takes the trash from the dumpster. I have so many pictures. It looks like a trash mountain and it stinks so badly with so many mosquitos in the summer. They just want your money they don't care about service requests and I submitted 3 service requests 3months before a closer door completely came off and I told it might fall on me but they just did not seem to be cared. They just want your money on the 1st of every month. They failed to take money off of my bank account and blaming me for insufficient funds even though when the funds are available in my bank account. I contacts Alexandra immediately about the money did not get deducted she never responded back to me for the email which I had sent on 10/03 and I sent one more email again on 10/05 which she responded with 250$ of fine. When I was telling her that it was not my fault she was very very rude and cut my phone call. I don't think rude people should be in the leasing office. It is very disappointing that Scandia appointed such a mean lady as the Manager.
Worst apartments I have lived in. Grounds are unkept and nasty, trash everywhere. People dump their furniture by the compactor. Apartments are not ready upon move in, needs updated. Leaking water from the ceiling, toilet issues, hallway smells of weed all the time. Had to put in multiple maintenance request day of move in. Maintenance is slow and does not know how to fix things properly.
Maintenance issues since move in 6 months ago still not resolved. Ridiculously long times to get a response to issues considered "emergency maintenance" and phone calls to management office are ignored.
Very bad neighbors. Very noisy. Nasty people. Many of them don’t how to put trash in the compactor ! They have no regard or concern for others !
