Property Ratings at Scioto Townhomes
This Property is great for the price. Quiet neighborhood with convenient access to Downtown and major roadways. I would recommend the property.
This place doesn’t look ANYTHING like the pictures. The rental office never completes work orders. I have been waiting for my refrigerator to be replaced for 2 months now. There is no air in the units as promised, even after multiple calls and emails about the apartments being hot. There is field mice that enter the home every winter and the property manager will not do anything. The rental office does not EVER answer the phone. They switch Leasing agencies every 6 months. There is so much more i can say about this place but you should get the point now! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. This place and property managers need to be reported. I’m currently moving out as I type this!
Parkdale Townhomes is under new property management as of last year. These units were built in 1971 and the new owner is rehabbing them one by one. The good points are: 1. You can be on either interstate 71 or 70 in three minutes flat. 2. You are a stone’s throw from downtown Columbus 3. It is very, very quiet since most units are unoccupied during the renovation period 4. The complex backs to the historic Greenlawn cemetery which means lots of quiet and a beautiful place to walk 5. These are pet-friendly townhomes The not so good points are: 1. The neighborhood is in South Franklinton – so you are in between some not so nice areas and some new, modern businesses 2. The units are old and nothing special to look at 3. No backyard though there is a tiny locked storage area at the back door of each unit 4. The bathroom is tiny. I really don’t think a girl could handle how small it is. No offense. In summary, if you need to be close to downtown or the freeway and don’t mind an iffy neighborhood and a small bathroom, this may be the place for you! If a gated entrance and clubhouse are on your must-have list, keep looking!
