East Fresno is a dynamic neighborhood conveniently placed 10 miles from Downtown Fresno. The Sierra Freeway runs through town and connects East Fresno with other parts of the city, but residents won’t have to travel far from home to get what they need. Shaw Avenue is home to many shopping centers and eateries like Sierra Vista Mall, Windmill Marketplace, and more. The Tuscan Plaza Shopping Center and Windmill Marketplace are located in the northern part of the neighbor near a large medical complex. Fresno Yosemite International Airport, located in the south of town, is another great feature of East Fresno. Fun attractions of East Fresno include the breathtaking Clovis Botanical Garden and Clovis Old Town Trail, a paved path stretching through the neighborhood.
East Fresno is home to many rental options including apartments, houses, and condos. Most of the rentals are situated on the eastern part of town and are available in a range of prices and styles.

Property Ratings at Scottsmen Too
They will not return your deposit, and will charge you more than what is actually owed.. then send you to collections without any pre-notification. I would never reccomend this place.
Various apartments had bed bugs and they even sent out a notice when I moved in, but when I found bed bugs in my apartment they accused me of bringing them. They even tried to charge me for the exterminator. I refused and later the neighbors told me that management went to them and asked them to complain about me so they could kick me out. None of them would do it so they couldn’t. They are way overpriced and management is terrible.
When I first moved here in 2011 we had a very nice and lenient and helpful manager. She left to another site and the assistant here became the manager... she is very stiff and dry and makes you feel bad if you ever have an issue like it’s your fault. Also they won’t do anything if your neighbors are being outrageous. I had a guy next door who was an alcoholic and got so drunk he kept trying to come into my apartment. Other times he would puke on the lawn in front of my apartment... weirdo. Also, be prepared to go to a laundromat. The washers are always out of order and the ones that aren’t take the smallest loads ever. You have to double or triple dry things to get it dry since the dryer suck so bad ($1.25 each time). But pluses are that they have pest control so never any bugs, very ample parking. The apartments are small but cute.
I have tears in my carpet my hallway light doesn't work my refrigerator is more than 10 years old my stove which is the third stove I've gotten is more than 25 years old I have 4 ceiling fans that none of the match I've had two refrigerators this one decides to leak whenever the freezer defrosts ive almost slipped a couple of times because of the huge puddle of water that I have on my floor yet the company that owns the property decided to spend money to upgrade the 14 laundromat sites they have here spending who knows how much instead of getting the residence newer appliances the staff that work here are nice but they have to go by rules that aren't made by them honestly this will be my last year here they raised my rent by almost $600 a year the last time I signed my lease but they have done nothing to make it worth it more for me to stay
