You can hear neighbors flush their toilets, when they’re in the bed room, whatever they do you’re involved. Amenities are cool, but recently taken over by kids, this includes the gym. Why isn’t there a dog run for the amount of money we pay a month? Why are the kids from neighboring apartments in the parking garage hanging out? Just why?

I absolutely adore my current unit; it feels like a perfect fit for me. The Scout staff has been incredibly attentive and supportive, always going the extra mile to ensure residents feel welcomed and taken care of. The only downside I experience is loud noise from the neighbors living above me, which can be quite disruptive at times. Apart from that, I have no complaints and truly enjoy living here.

I tried for a 4.5 but it won’t let me give half a star. I’ve only been here since March but I’ve enjoyed my time here at SOTC. The staff are amazing, friendly, and helpful. Having Giant next door is so convenient. There’s plenty of stores and restaurants around and my commute to work is so nice. The only negative thing is the amount of kids running around screaming in the hallways at night.

Biggest complaint is the leasing office never answers phones. And Luxor package delivery is out of control. Vendors do not follow shelf markings so every trip there takes 20-30 minutes. Management needs to organize the room daily and the leasing agents are not busy 100% so this is easily accomplished.

This is a great place to live, I love the amenities and the location of this apartment is perfect for me. It’s close to George mason university, close to several grocery stores as well. The only drawback is the price, it’s going crazy recently for some reason.

Nice community of people from all walks of life. Well-maintained (maintenance staff is very responsive, respectful, professional, and kind). Plenty of parking for large and smaller vehicles with access to Giant grocery store and many nearby restaurants just steps away from the front door.

I've really enjoyed living in this apartment complex for the past 18 months! The location is super convenient, making it easy to get around the DMV area. The amenities are well-kept and add to the sense of community here. Maintenance has always been responsive and quick to address any requests, which has made a big difference. Hajing handled my complex move-in beautifully and went above and beyond. Thank you Hajing for all you do here! Appreciate you so much. The amenities, layout, and of course the safety of this building are unmatched. One of the better apartments in the Fairfax area hands-down. Great unit itself but the rules not really enforced. People don’t pick up after their dogs, leave shopping carts, don’t leave trash where it’s supposed to go and so on without consequences so there’s no reason for them to stop. The grills don’t work well and you can hear your upstairs neighbor. The gym is nice though and the people at the front desk are kind and helpful. It’s also not the safest because there’s not really a separation between then retail parking and the residential parking. It’s only separated by a beam but anyone can slide in. Lots of great restaurants and giant is close.

It’s been ok. There should be cameras in the parking garage that’s a bit scary with all the random people coming up and vandalizing peoples cars. The garbage overflow is filthy and the shopping carts in hallways and parking garages are terrible.

Great staff, great amenities. The Management team is organized although they do get very busy. The apartment complex is clean. If I had to give one criticism is that in the evenings the trash outside the apartments makes things look not as great. However, that is what comes with valet trash service.
