Property Ratings at Apartments at Bel Air
I’ve been a renter of apartments of Bel-Air seasons at Bel Air for the last seven years. I’ve always had issues with the maintenance or getting them to do anything correctly. Everything is done, half, but not completed and I had a major issue with mold and I can show you pictures and videos and anything you want to see please do not rent here.
Since being here I love the neighborhood and my new place, this experience has been life changing and is certainly a blessing having been able to find my new home
Very amazing complex never had an issue with anything very quiet neighborhood and the neighbors are amazing. Office and maintenance are very convenient and quick with getting back to you.
I love the community, my kids enjoy being outside and I feel safe to let them go. The neighbors are nice and the environment is warm. Although nothing is perfect they make sure to come close to making sure residents are happy enough.
Typical apartment life! Neighbors are neighbors and with somewhat thin walls you can hear them if they’re loud enough. Leasing staff and maintenance are amazing and very communicative.

Trista, our goal is to provide our residents with the utmost care, so we are overjoyed knowing you feel our office and maintenance teams have been reliable and communicative! We are happy to be of service, so we welcome you to reach out directly if we can do anything to help appease any excess noise levels in the community. Thank you for your high rating!
I haven’t gotten no complaint so far. I really enjoy the neighborhood. I wish it was a little bit renovated. Some things I expected. I didn’t have a microwave or none of my doors fully close. But other than that I really enjoy it, it’s nice and calm.

We will be happy to assist.
Very quiet place to live. Maintenance team is all great, quick and efficient. Had some issues with renewing the lease. They lost the first one. But that was the only hitch.

Caroline, thank you for taking the time to compliment our quiet community and efficient maintenance team! That said, we are sorry if the lease renewal process was anything less than seamless. Our team is here for you, and if you have any pending questions or concerns we can address, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Very quiet and clean. I had a good experience moving in. The staff was very helpful. They gave me everything I needed to move in. This is my first apartment so everything was great

The grounds are well kept. The apartment is nice, ample space, as well as closet space. Very quiet neighborhood, with great neighbors (so far).

William, we appreciate your kind words about our quiet, well-kept community and spacious homes. Thank you for your support, and we hope you have a great day!
Everything has gone very smooth and maintenance has been amazing! When we had an issue with our dishwasher, maintenance came the same day we put the request in and fixed it!

Selena, it makes us happy to hear that our maintenance team has always assisted you to your satisfaction! Rest assured, we are here for you whenever you need us.
Where to even start honestly. We have had issues since before we moved in. We were given a unit, we started electric there. Then we had to move units and move in dates three times. Lance was so wishy washy about what we were doing until the manager put a stop to that. Then we move in and we have roaches and a broken AC. It took us months for an exterminator to finally come out. Our dryer was broken for 4 months before maintenance finally came to fix it. But it didn’t actually get fixed for another three weeks after that. Our AC was leaking and one maintenance person said “let’s put a fan to dry it up” instead of actually fixing it. The second one sprayed febreeze in the AC closet, don’t know how that fixed anything. Finally, I just fixed it my self. There was a clog in the drip tray. Our kitchen sink leaked, a guy came to fix it. It didn’t actually fix it. I did it myself, again. If I had the money back I saved on fixing things myself, I could pay 4 months rent at this point.

The area is nice and the grounds are well kept. The stairwells are kept cleaned. The apartments are old but spacious. The appliances could stand to be upgraded.
This place is just plain awful. Lived here for not even a year and regretted every minute. Maintenance request go unanswered for a month if not more even when it's extremely important. If you love poor response and bad staffing then this is the place for you.

Please be assured that we plan to use your feedback to improve for our current and future residents. If you have any pending concerns you wish to discuss, please reach us at (410) 879-0800.
This was a great place ... up until it changed management companies, now it has gone downhill. The leasing office does not communicate with tenants at all, even when you send repeated emails and leave multiple phone messages. The maintenance staff have no idea how to fix things and usually end up breaking it worse, and then you have to wait weeks for a real contractor to come in and fix what maintenance broke (this has happened on more than one occasion!) You put in maintenance tickets and they just close them without coming to fix the issue, so you have to continually put in tickets for the same thing. I cannot wait until my lease is up so I can get out of this place! I would not recommend it to my worst enemy, let alone anyone I care about!

The leasing office seemed incapable of sending me a lease. I asked them for one several times over a month, and each time they said they would but wouldn’t. With a week till my move, I had to find an apartment elsewhere because I couldn’t rely on having one at the Seasons at Bel Air.

I've lived here for going on a year and I'm renewing my lease this week. If you're looking for an affordable, safe and clean apartment, you must check this place out. The location is fantastic. The few issues I've had have been addressed in a timely manner and to my satisfaction. Also, the staff here is top shelf with a special shout out Beth Tolle. She goes above and beyond expectations. If you want a home, you owe it to yourself to give this place a look.
Property Manager at Apartments at Bel Air, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your glowing recommendation as a loyal resident! We are so glad that you have been impressed by our clean, peaceful community and our helpful team members such as Beth. Rest assured, we are always here for you.
You'll be fine as long as you NEVER need maintenance. Like EVER. It takes days to a week or more to get maintenance to come out and take care of things. I've been here since Novemener 2019 and I still have items on my move in list that were never addressed/ fixed. My current maintenance request has been put in for a week as of tomorrow and my previous ones haven't been fully completed yet either as they are waiting on a part. I don't even know if they ordered the part because they don't update you at all. Try calling the office? MAINTENANCE IS NEVER THERE and no one else can help or tell you when your ticket will be taken care of. It's a joke.
Property Manager at Apartments at Bel Air, Responded To This Review
Thank you for bringing your maintenance concerns to our attention. Our goal is to respond to all maintenance requests with speed and efficiency, and we deeply regret if you are less than satisfied. We are eager to assist you and encourage you to please contact us at (410) 879-0800, so we may discuss this in greater detail.
I have had nothing but problems since moving in 8 months ago. You name it, MOLD, trash bins are always overflowing, things not getting fixed in a timely manner. Our hot water heater that is shared with the building didn't work on and off for 4 months and it took two months of the maintenance staff "fixing" it before they called a professional. We've had mold in our apartment on two different occasions, one still unresolved, one in an infants room. We've called to get things fixed around our apartment and it's taken multiple calls for someone to actually find and fix the problem. Management communication is terrible, we can never get ahold of the office. Anytime we have left voicemails for someone to call us back we never got one. There have been multiple occasions where 2-3 people, me, husband, MIL, have tried calling the office throughout the day with no answer or call back and have had to resort to rearranging work schedules to physically go in to the office to talk to someone. The grass gets about 8 inches or more high before they cut it. Before we moved in they knew 2 weeks (officially) in advance what day it would be yet there were still things in our apartment that had to be fixed once we moved in, it was not at all move in ready. The only positive thing I have to say about this place is the location is very convenient.

However, we're disappointed to hear that other aspects of our community have not been as positive. When you have a moment, please contact us at (410) 879-0800, so we may discuss your concerns individually. Thank you, and we look forward to assisting you.
My family and I moved in December 2016. Everything was fine then. Maintenance was a bit slow, but they would usually show up within the week. I completely understood that since it is a fairly large complex. In 2018, the complex was bought by Hampshire assets llc and everything went down hill very fast. We have been without working outlets in our kitchen, our bathroom, our dining area and partially the living area for one month and a half. As soon as it happened I contacted maintenance via their resident portal and notified them that one of the outlets in the kitchen was outwardly sparking which scared me, so I turned off the power to the kitchen via the break switch. A maintenance guy showed up about 2 weeks later and all he did was replace the cover of the outlet. He mentioned that it didn't fix the issue and he left. That was the last I heard about it. I called the office and asked what was going on and was promised someone would come out. No one ever came out. Whatever the issue is it seems to be spreading. One outlet in our living area sparked a lot, made a pop noise then died. It looks burnt. I have put in multiple maintenance tickets, I've called maintenance, I've called the leasing office, I've sent certified letters and nothing has been done so now I've had to submit a rent escrow form to the courts so this can be fixed. We've gone over a month without a dryer, and we've dealt with animals in the ceiling scratching, chewing, running at all hours of the day and night. They've also been notified of this as well. About 3 weeks ago an exterminator was sent out to put traps in the ceiling and he told me that maintenance was supposed to come every day (which even I thought was a bit excessive, maybe every 2 days would suffice) but no one ever came out. We now have a dead animal (or animals) in the ceiling and our entire apartment stinks so bad we're not sure if we can stay here. They lure you in with deals like a month of free rent, or no security deposit or updated apartments but it isn't worth it. Stay far, far away and look elsewhere.
I have lived at Seasons for almost 10 years now. My apartment is older but spacious and reasonably priced since I was given a discount for moving in during a special. I have used the newer amenities now offered a few times (pool and gym). They are both small but nice. My issue is with maintenance here and the lack of customer service from the business office. There is a lack of customer service here and if that matters to you, avoid this place. For routine issues in the apartment, that likely occur in most other apartments, it takes DAYS to even get a response from anyone to say that they received a maintenance request. They could care less about your inconvenience and do nothing in the way of accommodation while they have you wait. It is a big complex and they have limited maintenance staff and of what they have, sometimes they lack the knowledge to remedy the problems. The leasing staff is decent and Lisa, the property manager has helped me resolve the issues with maintenance, but in the interim, there is no response to make things right with the tenants ignored by maintenance. So, again, if you have smaller children, elderly parents, or just expect good customer service... Seasons at Bel Air is not for you.
Lance from the front office is the best there is out there. he bends over backwards to help us, any time of day. we have been here since june of 2018 and he has always helped us and gone above and beyond! the nicest person you will meet and is the NUMBER 1 reason why i recommend the seasons to everyone who is looking for apartments. cannot stress enough how awesome Lance is. on the maintenance side, DJ is absolute awesome. also one of the nicest guys you will ever meet and also goes above and beyond. if i could rate these guys 1-10, i would rate them both 1,000. i will always recommend the seasons apartments!

I moved into the Seasons about 4 years ago. I had always been a home owner and was a little nervous about downsizing with retirement. My leasing consultant, Nhea was amazing. Not only did she here my fears but she knocked my expectation of a new home out the box. I couldn't be more happy with my apartment, the leasing staff are very professional, and the maintenance men are a bunch of great guys.

I reside at the seasons with my best friend, moving to an apartment from a townhouse we were a little nervous especially after living in a place where maintenance never came and we would have to fix it or live with it. It's been a year in may we have lived at the seasons, I used to hear dont live their or it's not worth it. Il be completely honest with you when you walk into the leasing office you see a team a team that is working hard for their customers, answering phones, meeting with potential tenants and diligently working hard. This past year my washer went up it was a little irritating being that I couldnt do laundry for a few days but that's just me. The seasons replaced my washer and dryer but not only did.they replace it they treated us like family rather than the average tenant complaining about an appliance, the staff specifically TJ,Ben,Lance, Sara, and Casey I must say have gone above my expectations I would least expect. It's spring the weather is getting warmer my air conditioning was not cooling it took almost 3 weeks to diagnose, revisit and repair the systems both inside and outside for the hvac system. What I would usually be used to is a maintenance crew who just come out and adjust something until it breaks again no no, Ben looked at my system and automatically said the compressor is shot your going to need a whole new unit. Well Lance toom the time to get me a second portable ac unit just to keep the place comfortable, TJ and Ben along with supervision of Aldon worked diligently to replace both interior and exterior units of the hvac system, along with daily updates of a part needing to be ordered or small adjustments needing to be made. Mind you it's only been a 30 day time frame between my washer going up and now hvac system. Seasons at Bel Air took the time to repair without any hassle it took time but dosent anything? They kept me in the loop as to what was going on, treated me with professionalism and respect, and made me feel comfortable to have a service tech in my home when not currently at home. They followed my expectations by coming when I set a designated time and respectfully knocked on the door and said maintenance which you dont see alot in an average rental property.

I've lived at the Seasons for three years, and had an extreme squirrel infestation! Surprisingly this isn't an uncommon issues, and management did not see the health issues associated with this. It's never acceptable to pay for a living space that's infested with wildlife or insects.
The staff is very kind and helpful and willing to work with me. The apartments are well-maintained and personally I have not had any problems. No loud neighbors, no rodent or bug problems, etc. Maintenance is prompt and professional. There has only been one "emergency" situation where they had to enter my apartment without notice because my shower was leaking to the apartment below. The pool hours during summer kind of suck - they are short and closed every other day.
Having lived and worked at appartment complexes, I know first hand when one is bad. At first this place seems good, everyone is nice. The apartment appears nice during a walk through. However, living here is a different story. The repairs in the apartments are not done properly. There are many surface repairs that allow the apartment to seem nice. There is dust in the paint on the walls, chipping paint, caulk that isnt done properly so now it's coming apart, and many more. Not to mention, maintanice has tried to access my apartment when my 13 year is at home due to "emergencies." However their own lease states 18 and under shouldn't let someone in, including them. Think again!
I've been here about 3yrs and for the most part I don't have many complaints. Something I didn't like was I accidentally left my keys in my apartment locking myself out. This was 11pm at night. So I called to see if maintenance or someone could ge my extra key in the office to let me in. I was told I had to call a locksmith because since it was after hours they wouldn't get my extra key.. It cost me over a hundred dollars which I wasn't happy about. Yes it was my fault but I figured all this money I pay for rent and always been on time that I would at least be granted that emergency. I also don't understand why there is no incentive offered when you renew your least. I know this can been done but people don't know about it and it won't be told you.
I love living here. The location is convenient, the office staff extremely easy to deal with, the maintenance team and its workers are on the ball, never wait more than a day or two for something to be fixed. My apartment was spotless when I moved in. New carpet, paint and vinyl in kitchen, as well as new fridge. Neighbors are friendly, and I feel totally safe here. Pleasant place to live.
Our son was looking for an apartment so to save time, we visited several apartments in the area to help him eliminate some. He went to Seasons at Belair 1 and just loved it. It was so convenient to shopping, work, town proper, etc. Also we were all impressed by the care the apartment management took in order to prepare an apartment for a new dweller. The office staff was the "BEST" and so kind and courteous will all of our questions. We were able to see the two bedroom model right at the leasing office. The apartment offered great specials and several apartment options. My husband and I as well as our son were very pleased with our visit. At this time, he is not quite ready to move. However, we were so impressed, come springtime, should we sell our house and have not yet purchased another, my husband and I would be very comfortable renting a two bedroom apartment here at Seasons at Belair 1.
Would recommend to family and friends, great area next to all you need and great schools and near downtown Bel Air and shopping for all your needs.
The Seasons at Bel Air Non luxury Apartments When I came to look at the apartment, I liked the model. It had what I looking for. I made a huge mistake not seeing my unit until after to sign. After viewing the model I expected it to be very close to what they had advertised. Once I moved in my unit, I found that things were not even close to what the model was advertising or what was discussed. After making complaints they attempted to accommodate my request. I was very disappointed with the move. I thought this that was a luxury apartment. Things have gone from bad to worse,Major leaks, and Black mold issues bad carpet, floors that feel as if you will fall in to the unit below.. Appliances out dated from the early 70’s…the list goes on and on, they are very slow fixing problems. This is NOT a Luxury Apartment . I do not recommend the seasons at bel air.
